    Abstract The epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a major public health disaster worldwide. From January 23 to March 20, total 17 patients with TMJ dislocation were treated in dental emergency department in School and Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University. Almost half of the patients are older than 80 years of age and they have recurrent joint dislocations. They are also at high risk for the COVID-19. The supine position technique method is suggested. The authors consider it necessary to recommend a practical management for TMJ dislocation.
