Abstract Background: The impact of various exercise modalities on the improvement of sleep quality in adults remains controversial.
Objective: This study aimed to perform a network meta-analysis to analyze the effects of different exercise interventions on sleep quality in adults.
Methods: The PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, Web of Science, and EBSCO databases were searched for studies published from March 18, 1993, to March 18, 2023. The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to assess the quality of the included studies. Then, a random-effects network meta-analysis was conducted within a frequentist framework.
Results: A total of 2142 participants from 27 randomized controlled trials were included in the analysis. Exercise modalities such as Pilates, yoga, and traditional Chinese exercises were found to significantly improve sleep quality when compared to a no-exercise control group, with Pilates exhibiting the most potent effect at a 95.3% improvement level.
Conclusion: This study demonstrates that exercise interventions are effective in enhancing sleep quality in adults. Adapting exercise to individual preferences and needs may maximize the sleep-related benefits of the activity.
Registration: The review was registered with PROSPERO, registration number CRD42023434565.

Abstract Thermal control coating for spacecraft based on thermochromic film attracts increasing interest due to their ability of self-adaptive emittance switch and less resource consuming compared with traditional thermal control coatings. However, practical applications of thermochromic film for spacecraft are constrained by the low infrared emittance at a high temperature and narrow emittance tunability. In this work, a thermochromic film with simple structure, nearly perfect infrared emission and large emittance tunability is proposed for the application of spacecraft thermal control. The thermochromic film is a VO

Abstract Background: Asthma is a common respiratory disease. In asthma, the small airways have more intensive inflammation and prominent airway remodelling, compared to the central airways. We aimed to investigate the predictive value of risk factors and the fractional concentration of exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) for persistent small airway dysfunction (p-SAD), and compare the effects of different treatment modalities.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 248 children with asthma (aged 4-11 years). Binary logistic regression was used to analyse the risk factors for p-SAD. Correlations among FEV
Results: Asthmatic children with older age of receiving the regular treatment (OR 1.782, 95% CI 1.082-2.935), with younger age at the time of onset of suspected asthma symptoms (OR 0.602, 95% CI 0.365-0.993), with longer duration of using ICS or ICS/LABA (OR 1.642, 95% CI 1.170-2.305) and with worse asthma control (OR 3.893, 95% CI 1.699-8.922) had increased risk for p-SAD. Significant negative correlations of small airway function parameters with FeNO at a 200 mL/s flow rate (FeNO
Conclusions: Paediatric asthma with p-SAD is associated with older age at receiving regular treatment, younger age at the time of onset of suspected asthma symptoms, longer duration of using ICS or ICS/LABA, worse asthma control, and higher FeNO

Abstract Theranostic in nuclear medicine combines diagnostic imaging and internal irradiation therapy using different therapeutic nuclear probes for visual diagnosis and precise treatment. GLP-1R is a popular receptor target in endocrine diseases, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, tumors, and other areas. Likewise, it has also made breakthroughs in the development of molecular imaging. It was recognized that GLP-1R imaging originated from the study of insulinoma and afterwards was expanded in application including islet transplantation, pancreatic β-cell mass measurement, and ATP-dependent potassium channel-related endocrine diseases. Fortunately, GLP-1R molecular imaging has been involved in ischemic cardiomyocytes and neurodegenerative diseases. These signs illustrate the power of GLP-1R molecular imaging in the development of medicine. However, it is still limited to imaging diagnosis research in the current molecular imaging environment. The lack of molecular-targeted therapeutics related report hinders its radiology theranostic. In this article, the current research status, challenges, and emerging opportunities for GLP-1R molecular imaging are discussed in order to open a new path for theranostics and to promote the evolution of molecular medicine.

Abstract miRNAs are a type of small endogenous noncoding RNA composed of 20-22 nucleotides that can regulate gene expression by targeting the 3' untranslated region of mRNA. Many investigations have discovered that miRNAs have a role in the development and progression of human cancer. Several aspects of tumor development are affected by miR-425, including growth, apoptosis, invasion, migration, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and drug resistance. In this article, we discuss the properties and research development of miR-425, focusing on the regulation and function of miR-425 in various cancers. Furthermore, we discuss the clinical implications of miR-425. This review may broaden our horizon for better understanding the role of miR-425 as biomarkers and therapeutic targets in human cancer.

Abstract Rationale: Gastric stump carcinoma (GSC) is very exceptional and little known after Whipple procedure, and its diagnosis and treatment are extremely difficult to handle.
Patient concerns: The patient, a 68-year-old man, visited our hospital's General surgery outpatient clinic complaining of upper abdominal pain that had been bothering him for half a month. The endoscopy revealed lesions in the stomach residual, and the pathological results suggested adenocarcinoma. The patient underwent Whipple procedure for periampullary adenocarcinoma in the 4th year ago.
Diagnoses: The final diagnosis was gastric adenocarcinoma and its pathological stage was Ⅱ A (T3N0M0).
Interventions: The patient underwent stump gastrectomy and end-to-side esophagojejunostomy (Roux-en-Y reconstruction).
Outcomes: The operation went smoothly and the patient recovered well with only mild bloating and nausea, and the symptoms completely disappeared during the hospital stay.
Lessons: The development of GSC several years after Whipple procedure is uncommon. This is the first case from China that has received international attention. Early diagnosis is crucial. Surgery is considered to be the most effective treatment for GSC after Whipple procedure if long-term survival is possible and surgical risks are controllable.
