Abstract Multiple myeloma is characterized by malignant proliferation of clonal plasma cells. Usually, appears as a generalized disease but it can present as solitary bone plasmacytoma or a solitary soft tissue mass or extramedullary plasmacytoma. In the case of extramedullary involvement, it could present as soft tissue plasmacytomas and the prognosis is poor. The 18F-FDG PET/CT could be a valuable tool for characterization of the medullary and extramedullary involvement. We present a case of F18-FDG PET/CT with extramedullary involvement with soft tissue plasmacytomas in the setting of MM.

Abstract Abstract: Patient was a 55-year-old man with history of pancreas neuroendocrine tumor grade 2, Ki-67 index 10%. He was treated with surgical resection. 68Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT was performed as part of follow-up of known disease. The images showed opacities in both lungs' parenchyma with moderate uptake of radiotracer and mediastinal lymph nodes with high uptake suggestive of infection. Two weeks before a high-resolution CT was performed, these findings in the lungs were not present. The patient was asymptomatic and was referred to the emergency department for reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction COVID-19 test, and the result was positive.

Abstract A 70-year-old man with prostate adenocarcinoma was diagnosed by transrectal biopsy, with Gleason of 4 + 5 and initial PSA of 225 ng/mL since March 2020. Ga-PSMA PET/CT was performed as part of initial staging. The images showed an enlarged prostate with focal PSMA uptake in both lobes. Retroperitoneal and pelvic lymph nodes with moderate uptake of PSMA were shown. Another finding was a moderate PSMA uptake in the both lung parenchymas associated with opacities in CT. The patient denied any symptoms of coronavirus disease and was referred to the emergency department for RT-PCR COVID-19, and the result was positive.

Abstract To advance our understanding of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) impact through genomic surveillance, we describe two PCR-based sequencing systems, (i) RSVAB-WGS for generic whole-genome sequencing and (ii) RSVAB-GF, which targets major viral antigens, G and F, and is used as a complement for challenging cases with low viral load. These methods monitor RSV genetic diversity to inform molecular epidemiology, vaccine effectiveness and treatment strategies, contributing also to the standardisation of surveillance in a new era of vaccines.

Abstract A 69-year-old man with a history of back pain, urinary obstruction, and deep vein thrombosis of both lower extremities 4 years earlier was diagnosed with rectal neuroendocrine tumor, grade 2, Ki-67 index 3%. Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT images showed a left pelvic mass extended to the lumen of the inferior vena cava with a high affinity for somatostatin receptor. A tubular focus of radiotracer accumulation after the course of inferior vena cava with filling defect was suggestive of tumor thrombus.

Abstract Objective: To determine the factors associated with impostor syndrome in medical students from six regions of Peru.
Material and methods: A multicentre, cross-sectional study was conduced on students from first to the sixth year in six Peruvian regions. Sociodemographic, academic, and psychological characteristics were included through the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-21, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Clance Imposter Phenomenon Scale. Generalised linear models were performed using crude and adjusted estimated prevalence ratios.
Results: Of 2,231 medical students, 54.3% were female and 30.6% had the impostor phenomenon. An association was found between the PI and those who suffered from depression (aPR=1.51; 95%CI, 1.27-1.79), anxiety (aPR=2.25; 95%CI, 1.75-2.90), stress (aPR=1.37; 95%CI, 1.19-1.57), and being female (aPR=1.12; 95%CI, 1.01-1.26).
Conclusions: Three out of 10 medical students suffer from PI; having some level of depression, anxiety, stress, being a woman, and/or attending the fourth academic year were predisposing factors for their development.
