Abstract Equity crowdfunding provides entrepreneurs and founders the opportunity to raise funds from a large number of potential investors, using quality signals to influence their investment decisions. Drawing from the lens of signaling theory and the elaboration likelihood model, this study explores the role of successive equity crowdfunding rounds as a quality signal in shaping investors' preferences in crowdfunded firms and its influence on their investment decisions. Our findings reveal that successive equity crowdfunding rounds serve as quality signals, modeling investors' preferences and thereby resulting in a high magnitude of success factors. The successive round is a strong quality signal that has a positive and significant impact on investors' investment decisions in subsequent equity crowdfunding rounds. The increasing preferences of investors due to the successive round augments the magnitude of success factors and helps entrepreneurs in successfully achieving large funding targets, high overfunding, and attracting a large number of investors in subsequent equity crowdfunding campaigns, even with a low level of equity offering.

Abstract Ethical leadership, widely recognized as a positive leadership style, has shown inconsistent relationships with employees' unethical pro-organizational behavior in the workplace. This study draws on the social cognitive theory to investigate the paradoxical impact of ethical leadership on employees' unethical pro-organizational behavior. It also examines the mediating role of employees' psychological empowerment and the moderating effect of moral identity. The study collects data from 515 nursing staff working in public and private hospitals in Pakistan at three different time intervals, and analyzed using PLS SEM. Contrary to the previous studies and our initial hypothesis, the findings reveal a positive relationship between ethical leadership and employees' unethical pro-organizational behavior. Additionally, the study demonstrates that employees' psychological empowerment positively mediates the relationship between ethical leadership and employees' unethical pro-organizational behavior. This underscores the significance of employees' psychological processes. Furthermore, the relationship between ethical leadership and employees' psychological empowerment is moderated by employees' moral identity. This highlights the role of the individual differences in shaping employees' behavior within the workplace. Overall, these results challenge the universal perception of ethical leadership as a positive form of leadership, shedding light on the unintended consequences and paradoxical impact it can have in organizations.

Abstract The Cattle Biometrics Dataset is the result of a rigorous process of data collecting, encompassing a wide range of cattle photographs obtained from publicly accessible cattle markets and farms. The dataset provided contains a comprehensive collection of more than 8,000 annotated samples derived from several cow breeds. This dataset represents a valuable asset for conducting research in the field of biometric recognition. The diversity of cattle in this context includes a range of ages, genders, breeds, and environmental conditions. Every photograph is taken from different quality cameras is thoroughly annotated, with special attention given to the muzzle of the cattle, which is considered an excellent biometric characteristic. In addition to its obvious practical benefits, this dataset possesses significant potential for extensive reuse. Within the domain of computer vision, it serves as a catalyst for algorithmic advancements, whereas in the agricultural sector, it augments practises related to cattle management. Machine learning aficionados highly value the use of machine learning for the construction and experimentation of models, especially in the context of transfer learning. Interdisciplinary collaboration is actively encouraged, facilitating the advancement of knowledge at the intersections of agriculture, computer science, and data science. The Cattle Biometrics Dataset represents a valuable resource that has the potential to stimulate significant advancements in various academic disciplines, fostering ground breaking research and innovation.

Abstract Currently, there is a surge in the adoption of green construction practices (GCP) to address and attempt to alleviate the adverse effects of construction activities on the natural environment. The current research surrounding sustainability in the industry has witnessed a notable surge in efforts, primarily driven by a growing consciousness of environmental concerns. In this context, it is worth noting that the focus of assessment schemes in developed countries has predominantly gravitated toward economic and environmental factors, with relatively less emphasis placed on social performance (SP). Many researchers have underscored this disparity, highlighting the need for a more comprehensive approach encompassing all three sustainability dimensions. Hence, the present research examines the effects of green construction practices on economic performance (ECP) while considering the mediating role of environmental performance (EP) and SP. The results showed no direct impact of GCP on ECP. However, the mediating role of SP and EP in the association between GCP and ECP was found to be statistically significant. The present study provides several implications. This study presents empirical evidence that implementing GCP yields several benefits for contractors, including cost reduction in waste management, legal expenses, and energy consumption. These cost savings effectively offset the initial investment required to implement GCP, enabling construction projects to attain ECP thresholds. This study provides a significant contribution to the expanding corpus of knowledge concerning green building site practices and construction management. It offers novel insights into the influence of a project's EP and SP on its economic feasibility. Furthermore, this research study has effectively showcased the positive impact of GCP on construction projects' environmental construction performance, particularly concerning environmental and social considerations.
