Abstract To explore the mechanism of needling Ying method for treatment of sore throat. By the analysis of pathogenesis of sore throat, the authors think the key of its pathogenesis is stagnation of pathogenic factors such as hotness and phlegm accumulating, and meridian-vessel obstruction in the throat is its meridian foundation. There are several meridians passing through the throat, so the throat is closely related to viscera and meridians, and stagnation of pathogenic factors such as hotness and phlegm accumulating in the throat lead to sore throat when exogenous pathogenic factors invading or dysfunction of viscera and meridians. The treatment of needling Ying at local throat or combined with corresponding meridian point selection can dredge collaterals, dispel pathogenic factors, remove pathogenic factors to dispel swelling, resolve phlegm and dissipate stagnation and harmonize yin and yang, so as to relieve sore throat. In conclusion, needling Ying method is an important method in the treatment of sore throat.

Abstract Objective: To compare the therapeutic effect between combination of Shu-stream and Ying-spring acupoints and routine acupoints selected by syndrome differentiation for toothache.
Methods: Eighty-five cases were randomly divided into a combination of Shu-stream and Ying-spring acupoints group (group A, 43 cases) and a routine acupionts group (group B, 42 cases). In group A, according to the corresponding relationship between viscera-meridians and different kinds of teeth, the Shu-stream and Ying-spring acupoints at both sides of the corresponding meridians were sleeted. The group B was treated with acupuncture at Jiache (ST 6), Xiaguan (ST 7), Hegu (LI 4), erjian (LI 2), Neiting (ST 44). Yifeng (TE 17) and Fengchi (GB 20) were added for wind and fire attacking; Lidui (ST 45) and Quchi (LI 11) were added for intense stomach fire; Taixi (KI 3) and Zhaohai (KI 6) were added for deficiency fire flaming up. Electroacupuncture was applied in two groups, once every day, ten treatments constituted one course, the differences of effect and recurrence rate were observed after one course and half a year later.
    Results: The cured rate were respectively 88.4% (38/43)and 69.0% (29/42) in group A and group B, with a significant difference (P < 0.05). The recurrence rates were respectively 23.7% (9/38) and 55.2% (16/29) in group A and group B, with a significant difference (P < 0.05).
Conclusion: Both short-term and long-term therapeutic effects of combination of Shu-stream and Ying-spring acupoints are significantly better than those of routine acupoints in treating toothache.

Abstract Background: The previous literature highlights a relationship between maternal smoking around birth (MSAB) and offspring attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). These studies have focused on the causal effects of MSAB on offspring ADHD.
Method: A Mendelian randomization analysis was conducted using summary statistics. Data on MSAB were obtained from a recent study including 391,992 participants. ADHD data were obtained from six sources for 246,888 participants. The present study used five methods to examine the causal impact from outcomes on exposures. The inverse variance weighted (IVW) was the main method of analysis, while the other four methods were supplementary methods.
Result: The IVW revealed that MSAB was a risk factor for offspring ADHD (OR: 2.54; 95 % confidence interval [CI]: 1.61-4.00, p = 6.04 × 10
Conclusions: A causal impact of MSAB on offspring ADHD was observed. These findings highlight the need for careful consideration of prenatal exposure (MSAB) during the assessment of offspring ADHD. Additionally, it can provide targeted guidance for prenatal interventions. Future studies should analyze the effects of different doses of maternal smoking on ADHD.

Abstract English text has a clear and compact subject structure, which makes it easy to find dependency relationships between words. However, Chinese text often conveys information using situational settings, which results in loose sentence structures, and even most Chinese comments and experimental summary texts lack subjects. This makes it challenging to determine the dependency relationship between words in Chinese text, especially in aspect-level sentiment recognition. To solve this problem faced by Chinese text in the field of sentiment recognition, a Chinese text dual attention network for aspect-level sentiment recognition is proposed. First, Chinese syntactic dependency is proposed, and sentiment dictionary is introduced to quickly and accurately extract aspect-level sentiment words, opinion extraction and classification of sentimental trends in text. Additionally, in order to extract context-level features, the CNN-BILSTM model and position coding are also introduced. Finally, to better extract fine-grained aspect-level sentiment, a two-level attention mechanism is used. Compared with ten advanced baseline models, the model's capabilities are being further optimized for better performance, with Accuracy of 0.9180, 0.9080 and 0.8380 respectively. This method is being demonstrated by a vast array of experiments to achieve higher performance in aspect-level sentiment recognition in less time, and ablation experiments demonstrate the importance of each module of the model.
