Abstract Peptide-based radiopharmaceuticals (PRPs) have been developed and introduced into research and clinic diagnostic imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy for more than two decades. In order to efficiently prepare PRPs, some rapid radiolabeling methods have been demonstrated. This chapter presents six common approaches for PRPs radiolabeling with metallic radioisotopes and Fluorine-18.

Abstract Objective: The objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of three different treatment methods for pediatric ulnar and radial double fractures.
Methods: 120 children with ulnar and radial double fractures were included in the study. According to the different treatment plans, children were divided into three groups: manual reduction, splint external fixation, double elastic intramedullary fixation, and double plate fixation. Surgical indicators, radiological results, clinical efficacy, and complications were evaluated and compared among the groups.
Results: The average hospital stay and operation time were significantly longer in the double plate internal fixation group compared to the other two groups. The double elastic intramedullary nailing group showed a higher fracture healing rate at 3 months compared to the other groups. There were no significant differences in clinical efficacy among the three groups. Complications were observed in all groups but did not show significant statistical differences.
Conclusion: Double elastic intramedullary nailing fixation demonstrated favorable outcomes in terms of surgical indicators and fracture healing rates for pediatric ulnar and radial double fractures.

Abstract Objective: To investigate the value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in diagnosis and disease evaluation of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH).
Methods: A retrospective analysis of 31 patients with LCH confirmed by histopathology was performed. A systematic analysis of the PET/CT imaging manifestations of LCH was performed, recording patients who were treated and receiving PET/CT for efficacy evaluation. In addition, clinical and laboratory data of LCH patients were collected, and the correlation between these data and PET/CT metabolic parameters was initially investigated.
Results: Of the 31 patients, thirty had at least 1 PET/CT positive lesions (96.7%), and one had only skin damage without abnormalities on PET/CT. Of 31 patients, fifteen (48.4%) had single system (SS) disease (9 cases with a single site and 6 cases with multiple sites) and 16 (51.6%) had multisystem (MS) disease (6 low risk and 10 high risk cases). The incidence of LCH lesions in the bone, lymphatic system, pituitary gland, liver, soft tissue, thyroid gland, thymus, and lungs was 20 cases (64.5%), 12 cases (38.7%), 3 cases (9.7%), 2 cases (6.5%), 2 cases (6.5%), 1 case (3.2%), 1 case (3.2%), and 8 cases (25.8%), respectively. A total of 21 PET/CT follow-up scanning were performed in 13 patients receiving chemotherapy, with 13 (61.9%) partial metabolic remission (PMR), 6 (28.6%) progressive metabolic disease (PMD), and 2 (9.5%) stable metabolic disease (SMD), according to PET Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (PRECIST) 1.0. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) and Lactic Dehydrogenase (LDH) were positively correlated with TTLG (total TLG) (R
Conclusions: 18F-FDG PET/CT is an effective way to diagnose and evaluate LCH. PET metabolic parameters were associated with laboratory inflammatory markers, suggesting that 18F-FDG PET/CT may be helpful in evaluating disease activity of LCH.

Abstract Controlling spin current in topological insulators (TIs) is a crucial requirement for applications in quantum computing and spintronics. Using the non-equilibrium Keldysh Green's function formalism, we demonstrate that such control can be established around rectangular cavities of two-dimensional TIs by breaking their time reversal symmetry

Abstract The biological motion refers to the continuous configuration movement of live agents in space. The perceptual processing of biological motion has the specificity of the dissociation between body form and body motion. However, there is limited evidence for whether such specificity continues when holding biological motion in working memory. We explored this question from the perspective of field dependence (FD) and field independence (FI) cognitive styles in the current study. Three categories of biological motion have been developed: intact movement, motion feature, and form feature. We examined the working memory capacity of motion features, form features, intact movements (Experiments 1-3), and the recognition of three categories of biological motion when remembering intact movements (Experiment 4). The results showed that for the motion features, FI individuals had better memory performance when remembering five items and showed greater working memory capacity and recognition compared with FD individuals, whereas the opposite pattern was observed between FI and FD individuals for the form features. The cognitive style could modulate the working memory storage of biological motion when the task becomes demanding, suggesting that body form and body motion are dissociable in working memory. Our study provided additional evidence for the specificity of biological motion processing in working memory, extending the hierarchical neural model. Abstract Recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) is commonly used to treat anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD). EPO-induced Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA) is a rare condition of profound anemia with EPO treatment. Upon finding the development of EPO-induced PRCA, the treatment requires immediate withdrawal of EPO therapy and initiate new treatments with immunosuppression or renal transplantation. Anti-EPO antibody assay is not always positive in EPO-induced PRCA. Here, we report a case on the sudden development of PRCA in a hemodialysis patient receiving EPO and how we treated the condition successfully with cyclosporine and subsequently maintained the hemoglobin with Roxadustat, a hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor (HIF-PHI). Even though the anti-EPO antibody was negative by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) in our case, the clinical course, the markedly reduced reticulocyte count < 10,000/μL, the bone marrow (BM) biopsy revealing reduced erythroblasts, and its subsequent response to cyclosporine, were similar to EPO-induced PRCA. The clinical picture of EPO-induced PRCA, the limitation of the EPO-neutralizing antibody (Ab) assay, and treatment strategies were discussed.
