Abstract This study aimed to analyze the relationship between university students' religious attitudes and aggression levels. Stratified sampling method was used for sample selection, and the study was completed with 1594 students. The students' religious attitudes and aggression scores were examined and correlation analysis was performed. A statistically significant negative relationship was found between the students' mean religious attitudes and aggression scores (r =  - 0.170; p < 0.001). It was observed that, irrespective of the religion in which the students believed, those with positive attitudes toward religion were less aggressive. Training programs should be provided on spiritual values to reduce students' aggression levels.

Abstract Amaç: Araştırma Sars-Coronavirus-2 salgınında bireylerde nomofobi ve psikolojik sağlamlığın bazı değişkenlere göre incelenebilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Abstract Introduction: Pain significantly affects the quality of life of lung cancer patients. We aimed to evaluate the effect of the erector spinae plane block (ESPB) on pain in these patients.
Methods: We reviewed the medical records of patients with primary lung and bronchial cancer who experienced refractory pain in the thoracic region and underwent repeated ESPBs (three blocks at 24-hour intervals) between 2019 and 2020 in this single-center retrospective study. Visual analog scale (VAS) scores recorded before the procedure and on the first day (first day after the third block) and the first and third months of follow-up in 43 patients were analyzed.  Results: The study population consisted of 31 male and 12 female patients, with a mean age of 56.7 years. The mean pre-procedure VAS score was 8.9±0.8, which showed a significant decrease on the first day (2.9), first month (3.6), and third month (4.6) of the follow-up. Four patients experienced minor complications (pain at the procedure site and hypotension); however, no major complications were observed.
Conclusion: We observed a prolonged effect of repeated ESPBs for ≥3 months. The block efficacy decreased with time; however, an approximately 50% reduction in the VAS score persisted even in the third month. Repetitive ESPBs may be regarded as a straightforward, safe, and replicable intervention to complement medical treatment and diminish the need for opioids in managing lung cancer-related pain.

Abstract Purpose: The present study aimed to determine the level of Netlessphobia in the general population by developing the "Fırat Netlessphobia Scale."
Design and measures: Trial form consisting of 19 items, which was tested in terms of language and psychometric validity, was applied to a sample group of 690 people. The reliability of the scale was verified by evaluating Cronbach's α reliability coefficient and test-retest consistency.
Results: The developed "Fırat Netlessphobia Scale" can account for 60.7% of the variance related to Netlessphobia. Cronbach's α reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.93.
Conclusions: According to the findings, the Fırat Netlessphobia Scale is a cost-effective scale that facilitates the valid and reliable estimation of high variance and a low number of items.
Practice implications: This practical and cost-effective scale is widely applied owing to its small number of items and short expressions. The present study emphasizes the importance of exploring Netlessphobia and the need for future research in this area to recognize the risk groups and establish protection strategies.
