Abstract Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a common adult-onset neurodegenerative disease characterized by the progressive death of motor neurons in the cerebral cortex, brain stem, and spinal cord. The exact mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of ALS remain unclear. The current consensus regarding the pathogenesis of ALS suggests that the interaction between genetic susceptibility and harmful environmental factors is a promising cause of ALS onset. The investigation of putative harmful environmental factors has been the subject of several ongoing studies, but the use of transgenic animal models to study ALS has provided valuable information on the onset of ALS. Here, we review the current common invertebrate genetic models used to study the pathology, pathophysiology, and pathogenesis of ALS. The considerations of the usage, advantages, disadvantages, costs, and availability of each invertebrate model will also be discussed.

Abstract Insufficient physical activity poses a significant risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Exercise plays a crucial role in influencing the vascular system and is essential for maintaining vascular health. Hemodynamic stimuli generated by exercise, such as shear stress and circumferential stress, directly impact vascular structure and function, resulting in adaptive changes. In clinical settings, incorporating appropriate exercise interventions has become a powerful supplementary approach for treating and rehabilitating various cardiovascular conditions. However, existing models for studying exercise-induced vascular adaptation primarily rely on

Abstract Background: Thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb) has been found to be associated with the occurrence and development of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) for several years, but there is still controversy over whether thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) is related to differentiated thyroid cancer.
Methods: We scrutinized relevant studies published up to July 2023 across four major databases including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science, to examine the association between TPOAb and DTC. Clinical outcome measures include the incidence of DTC, tumor size, extrathyroidal invasion, lymph node metastasis, multifocality, recurrence and bilaterality.
Results: 12 original studies were included, involving a total of 20,330 subjects. Our analysis of the included studies revealed that TPOAb+ individuals exhibited a higher risk of developing DTC (OR=1.57 [95% CI: 1.00-2.45], p=0.049) than TPOAb- individuals. Furthermore, TPOAb+ DTC patients were more prone to present with bilateral (OR=1.40 [95% CI: 1.21-1.62], p<0.00001) and multifocal (OR=1.40 [95% CI: 1.23-1.60], p<0.00001) tumors than TPOAb- patients. Sensitivity analysis indicated a high sensitivity for these three findings. No significant differences in the risk of extrathyroidal extension and lymph node metastasis, recurrence rate, tumor size, were observed between TPOAb+ and TPOAb- DTC patients.
Conclusion: The presence of TPOAb is correlated with an increase prevalence of DTC. However, its effectiveness as a prognostic marker for DTC patients warrants further investigation.

Abstract Although bone destruction and hypercalcemia without acute peripheral blast BCR-ABL-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) have been reported in children, they are rare in adults. Herein, we describe a case of BCR-ABL positive ALL with a triploid karyotype, WT1, and CDKN2A mutations with hypercalcemia and bone destruction as the first manifestations. Complete remission (CR) was achieved by induction chemotherapy. BCR-ABL turned negative after treatment with dasatinib. However, computed tomography and whole-body bone scan showed extensive bone destruction. Additionally, bone biopsy showed leukemic infiltration. After treatment with dasatinib and VMCP, leukemia recurred with positive BCR-ABL. The T315I mutation occurred. The patient was surgically diagnosed with calculous cholecystitis and achieved CR2 by postoperative orebatinib and VP regimens. Later, the patient died due to a severe pulmonary infection. BCR-ABL-positive ALL with bone destruction is rare and difficult to control using tyrosine kinase inhibitor chemotherapy alone. Therefore, further exploration of more effective treatments is needed.

Abstract A learning management system (LMS) is a web-based application or software platform computed to facilitate the development, tracking, management, reporting, and delivery of education and training programs. Many valuable and dominant factors are working behind the Learning Management System (LMS), but no one can find which factor is most important and valuable for LMS during COVID-19 among the following five alternatives, called Improved Accessibility, Blended Learning, Collaboration and Communications, Assessment and Evaluation, and Administrative Efficiency. For this, first, we derive the techniques of bipolar complex hesitant fuzzy (BCHF) sets, and then we evaluate some flexible operational laws, called Algebraic operational laws and Aczel-Alsina operational laws. Secondly, using the above techniques, we elaborate the technique of BCHF Aczel-Alsina power averaging (BCHFAAPA), BCHF Aczel-Alsina power weighted averaging (BCHFAAPWA), BCHF Aczel-Alsina power geometric (BCHFAAPG), and BCHF Aczel-Alsina power weighted geometric (BCHFAAPWG) operators. Some basic properties are also investigated for each proposed operator. Further, to evaluate the problem concerning LMS, we compute the multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) techniques for invented operators. Finally, we select some prevailing operators and try to compare their ranking results with our proposed results to enhance the worth and capability of the invented theory.

Abstract Gestation length (GL) plays an important role in piglet maturation of major organs and development of body, while the genetic molecular markers of GL have not been extensively identified. In this study, according to the 5,662 effective records of 3,072 sows, the heritability and repeatability of GL were estimated through the dmuai of DMU Version 6.5.1 with a repeatability model, namely,
