    Abstract Purpose: This paper aims to discuss Walter Benjamin's Critical Theory and William Corsaro's Sociology of Childhood contributions to a Human Rights Education approach with children. Our intent is to investigate how children’s personal experiences can enrich the construction of a differentiated pedagogical model, based on the promotion of attitudes and values infused in the human rights tradition. Approach: We address this paper to a reflection on the expressions of agency, social engagement, and cultural productions in the course of childhood. Findings: Our thesis is that Human Rights Education has to recognize the different ethical lives, or subcultures, that compose each educational environment, assuring children’s autonomy and social protagonism in the process of identifying human rights violations and organizing strategies to assure social justice.

    Abstract Objetivo: o presente trabalho visa propor um protocolo para suplementação de tiamina em pacientes utilizando nutrição parenteral no Hospital Universitário Walter Cantídio. Método: uma revisão de literatura foi utilizada para identificar fatores de risco e sinais e sintomas da deficiência de tiamina, bem como recomendações para suplementação desta. Foram também consultadas diretrizes clínicas utilizadas por grandes centros de saúde para detecção de déficit de tiamina e propostas de condutas para sua suplementação. Resultados: com base nas evidências levantadas, elaborou-se fluxograma contemplando recomendações para uso suplementar de tiamina em pacientes utilizando nutrição parenteral. Conclusão: o protocolo elaborado pode auxiliar a equipe assistencial quanto ao reconhecimento e tratamento da deficiência de tiamina em pacientes sob terapia nutricional parenteral.

    Abstract Objetivo: determinar o perfil dos cuidadores de pacientes com transtornos mentais acompanhados em ambulatórios de Psiquiatria Geral. Metodologia: estudo transversal realizado durante novembro e dezembro de 2016, sendo incluídos no estudo os cuidadores maiores de 18 anos que preenchiam a definição de cuidador informal. Eles responderam a um questionário sobre dados gerais e a sua função de cuidador. Os dados foram tabelados e analisados com o auxílio do Microsoft Excel® for Windows 2010. Foram respeitados os princípios para os procedimentos éticos em pesquisas. Resultados: foram entrevistados 68 cuidadores. Notou‑se predomínio do sexo feminino (80,9%), ausência de orientações sobre a evolução dos transtornos apresentados (52,9%) e falta de instruções sobre como auxiliar o paciente em casa (64,7%). Os diagnósticos psiquiátricos mais comuns nos pacientes acompanhados foram depressão (33,8%), transtornos psicóticos (30,9%) e transtorno afetivo bipolar (10,3%). As principais responsabilidades dos cuidadores envolviam comparecimento a consultas (96,6%). Conclusão: percebe-se que ainda há carência de informações sobre transtornos mentais e sobre como manejar as dificuldades do cotidiano do paciente psiquiátrico. Com este perfil, podemos elaborar estratégias para fornecer mais atenção aos cuidadores e assim ajudá-los a lidar com os obstáculos associados aos transtornos mentais, diminuindo sua sobrecarga e proporcionando melhor cuidado ao paciente.

    Abstract This article is an initiative of presenting some elements of Walter Benjamin’s reflections about cinema, and, according to the author, it is an art that give the answers for the modern man perceptive longings, to whom any experience was denied. The cinema, “the work of art in the era of its technical reproduction”, is ultimately for the author the mark of a new perception, of a new relationship between public and the work of art: the collective perception. What the crowd searches is not the contemplation or the withdrawal in front of a work of art, but entertainment. The cinema insists on this characteristic of entertaining when it reproduces the benjaminian concept of “shock experience”, through successive exhibitions of its fragments and constantly interrupting the association of the spectators ideas, (re)affirming the character of amusement of the modern art. However, for the author, the cinema dialectically responds to the amusement as an appropriate instrument for a pedagogy of the crowds – through an emancipated art, the masses would also become emancipated. Este artigo é uma iniciativa de destacar alguns elementos a respeito das reflexões de Walter Benjamin sobre o cinema, uma arte que, segundo o próprio autor, responde aos anseios perceptivos do homem moderno, àquele para o qual foi negada qualquer experiência. O cinema, “a obra de arte na era de sua reprodutibilidade técnica”, por excelência, é, para o autor, o marco de uma nova percepção, de uma nova relação entre público e obra de arte: a percepção coletiva. O que a multidão busca não é a contemplação ou o recolhimento diante da obra de arte, mas a sua distração. Fato que o cinema, ao reproduzir em sua forma o conceito benjaminiano de “experiência do choque”, por meio das sucessivas exposições de seus fragmentos, interrompendo constantemente a associação de idéias dos espectadores, insiste em colocar em pauta, (re)afirmando o caráter de diversão da arte moderna. Entretanto, para o autor, o cinema dialeticamente responde à diversão como o instrumento adequado para uma pedagogia das multidões — por meio de uma arte emancipada, as massas também se emancipariam. Dieser Bereich weist noch immer wenig kohärente theoretische Grundlagen auf, was sich in erheblichen Einschränkungen bei der empirischen Anwendung niederschlägt. Der Band trägt Erfahrungen verschiedener Einrichtungen in Deutschland zusammen, analysiert Vor- und Nachteile von CIR-Systemen und stellt erprobte Einsatzmöglichkeiten zur Gewährleistung der Patientensicherheit vor. Er stellt einen willkommenen Beitrag zur Literatur über CIR-Systeme dar und kann als Anregung für weitere Arbeiten auf diesem Gebiet dienen.
