Abstract Vanadium-based oxides are considered potential cathode materials for aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) due to their distinctive layered (or tunnel) structure suitable for zinc ion storage. However, the structural instability and sluggish kinetics of vanadium-based oxides have limited their capacity and cycling stability for large-scale applications. To overcome these shortcomings, here a porous vanadium-based oxide doped with zinc ions and carbon with the molecular formula ZnV

Abstract In frigid regions, it is imperative to possess functionality materials that are ultrastrong, reusable, and economical, providing self-generated heat and electricity. One promising solution is a solar‒thermal‒electric (STE) generator, composed of solar‒thermal conversion phase change composites (PCCs) and temperature-difference power-generation-sheets. However, the existing PCCs face challenges with conflicting requirements for solar‒thermal conversion efficiency and mechanical robustness, mainly due to monotonous functionalized aerogel framework. Herein, a novel starch vitrimer aerogel is proposed that incorporates orientational distributed carboxylated carbon nanotubes (CCNT) to create PCC. This innovative design integrates large through-holes, mechanical robustness, and superior solar‒thermal conversion. Remarkably, PCC with only 0.8 wt.% CCNT loading achieves 85.8 MPa compressive strength, 102.4 °C at 200 mW cm

Abstract As a pivotal element in market mechanisms, carbon trading is increasingly recognized as crucial for achieving China's Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals. This study introduces a comprehensive dynamic model, integrating carbon trading, emissions, economic growth, and green technology innovation, to offer a holistic understanding of the interplay between these domains. Utilizing principles from nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory, the model is adept at simulating various scenarios and assessing the effectiveness of government policies in stabilizing these complex systems. In-depth analysis provided by this research sheds light on the nuanced impact of carbon trading policies on sustainable development. Key findings highlight (1) Carbon trading's essential role as a catalyst in propelling sustainable and high-quality growth. (2) A strong positive relationship is observed between the sophistication of the carbon trading mechanism and its effectiveness in stimulating green technology innovation and fostering high-quality green development. Notably, carbon trading's influence on green technology innovation markedly enhances the efficacy of carbon emission reduction strategies. (3) Government regulations are instrumental in augmenting carbon prices, thus incentivizing increased corporate participation in emission reduction and enhancing the overall impact of carbon emission reduction. Nevertheless, the study identifies a critical threshold in regulatory intensity, beyond which there is a risk of system destabilization (

Abstract Spectral peak search is an essential part of the frequency domain parametric method. In this paper, a spectral peak search algorithm employing the principle of compressed sensing (CS) is proposed to rapidly estimate the spectral peaks. The algorithm adopts fast Fourier transform (FFT) with a few points to obtain the coarsely estimated spectral peak positions, and then only three small-scale inner products are iteratively calculated by increasing the input sequence length to rapidly refine the estimated positions. Compared with the conventional methods, this algorithm can directly capture the exact locations of spectral peaks without acquiring the entire spectrum. In addition, the proposed algorithm can be easily integrated into the existing frequency domain interpolation methods to accurately determine the spectral peak positions, and if so, only 30% of inner product operations of the original algorithms are required. Theoretical analysis and numerical results show that this algorithm yields accurate results with low complexity for analyzing both one-dimensional and two-dimensional signals.

Abstract Topology optimization results are highly dependent on the given design constraints and boundary conditions. Moreover, small changes in initial design conditions can result in different topological configurations, which makes topology optimization time-consuming in a given design constraint domain and inefficient in structural design. To address this problem, a data-driven real-time topology optimization framework and method coupled with machine learning by using a principal component analysis algorithm combined with a feedforward neural network are developed in this paper. Meanwhile, through the offline training, the mapping relationship between initial design conditions and topology optimization results is obtained. From this mapping, we estimate the optimal topologies for novel loading configurations. Numerical examples display that the online prediction results are consistent with the results of the topology optimization method. Furthermore, the network parameters are calibrated, and accurate structure prediction is achieved based on the algorithm. In addition, this method ensures the accuracy of high-resolution structural prediction on the premise of small samples.
