Abstract Fanconi anemia (FA) is the predominant hereditary syndrome of bone marrow failure (BMF), distinguished by impairments in DNA repair mechanisms. The deficiency in the FANC pathway, which governs DNA repair and replication rescue, results in aberrant responses to DNA damage in individuals with FA. The objective of this study is to examine the involvement of the FANC core complex in BMF and ascertain nucleolar homeostasis-related genes by conducting transcriptome analysis on primary hematopoietic stem cells obtained from FA patients with FANCA and FANCC variants. In the present study, we analyzed scRNA-seq data obtained from both healthy donors and individuals diagnosed with FA in order to investigate the phenomenon of cell-cell communication. Through the implementation of trajectory analysis, the differentiation pathways of several progenitor cell types, such as HSC cells transitioning into LMPP, N, M, B-prog, and E cells, were elucidated. Moreover, by scrutinizing the inferred interactions, notable disparities in cell-cell communication were observed between FA patients and their healthy counterparts. Our analysis has unveiled heightened interactions involving TNFSF13B, MIF, IL16, and COL4A2 in patients with FA. Furthermore, we have developed a prognostic model for predicting the outcome of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) which has exhibited remarkable predictive precision, with an AUC exceeding 0.83 at the 3- and 5-year intervals following the baseline assessment. In summary, the prognostic model that has been developed provides a valuable instrument for forecasting outcomes of AML by utilizing the genes identified through both single-cell and bulk transcriptome analyses.

Abstract Background: Diabetes, a chronic disease metabolic disorder, commonly affects people. It is well-documented that aerobic exercise significantly reduces blood glucose in diabetic conditions. This study aimed to demonstrate the role of aerobic exercise on T2DM patients and cognitive impairment.
Methods: We selected studies that published random controlled trials (RCTs) on the effects of aerobic exercise on cognitive function in patients with T2DM. However, the animal trials were we excluded in this study. We retrieved the data of random controlled trials from 8 databases based on the influences of aerobic exercise on cognitive function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). We utilized RevMan 5.3 software to analyze the data after evaluating the literature.
Results: We selected 685 studies based on the information in the abstract and title after deleting the duplicate references. Then, we investigated the full text of 15. After full-text evaluation,we selected 10 random controlled trials to perform this comprehensive meta-analysis. We found that 10 studies derived the information of cognitive function between the test and the control groups and the cognitive function is significantly higher in the experimental group (SMD: 1.88; 95% Cl: 0.91,2.84; P < .01) than the control group. Moreover, the experimental group showed significantly higher minimum mental state examination (MMSE) (SMD: 2.06; 95% Cl: 0.96,3.14; P < .01) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) (SMD:1.62; 95% Cl: 0.54, 2.69; P < .01) than the normal group.
Conclusion: Our findings demonstrated that aerobic exercise is crucially potent in T2DM patients and cognitive impairment, as evidenced by total cognitive function, MMSE, and MoCA. The above results should be warranted to verify with sophisticated clinical trials. In the future, aerobic exercise is suggested to guide patients'srecovery.

Abstract Chronic wounds have gradually evolved into a global health challenge, comprising long-term non-healing wounds, local tissue necrosis, and even amputation in severe cases. Accordingly, chronic wounds place a considerable psychological and economic burden on patients and society. Chronic wounds have multifaceted pathogenesis involving excessive inflammation, insufficient angiogenesis, and elevated reactive oxygen species levels, with bacterial infection playing a crucial role. Hydrogels, renowned for their excellent biocompatibility, moisture retention, swelling properties, and oxygen permeability, have emerged as promising wound repair dressings. However, hydrogels with singular functions fall short of addressing the complex requirements associated with chronic wound healing. Hence, current research emphasises the development of multifunctional antibacterial hydrogels. This article reviews chronic wound characteristics and the properties and classification of antibacterial hydrogels, as well as their potential application in chronic wound management.

Abstract With the continuous progress of the times, people’s economic level has also improved, and they have more specific requirements for their own quality of life. At present, looking at the domestic health industry, its development is far from meeting people’s expectations. In recent years, the state has advocated the construction of a number of sports characteristic small towns with national participation, beautiful ecology, industrial integration, and distinctive characteristics. The Guangxi government responded to the national initiative and actively supported it in policy, introduced investment funds, and established eight sports characteristic small towns, which are in good condition of development. This study takes this as the research object, through consulting various literatures, data material, and visiting experts and scholars, actually checks the development of these eight characteristic small towns, and sorts out and analyzes the collected information on its natural resources, humanistic characteristics, and diversified industrial integration. It provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent design, planning, and practice of characteristic small town. After the overall normative construction and taking the normative effect as the empirical evaluation standard, it has effectively promoted the vigorous development of small towns with sports characteristics in China.

Abstract Objective: The occurrence of chronic vascular complications in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) is influenced by multiple factors. This study aims to analyze the correlation between serum 25-(OH)D
Methods: A total of 628 Chinese patients with T2DM were included in this study. Based on the intima-media thickness (IMT) and plaque echogenicity measured by lower extremity vascular ultrasound, the patients were divided into the no plaque group(NP), low-risk plague group(LP), moderate-risk plague group(MP), and severe-risk plague group(SP). Based on 25-(OH)D
    Results: The levels of 25-(OH)D
    Conclusion: Serum 25-(OH)D
