Abstract Organo-silanes, germanes, and stannanes are considered to be conducive to the development of cross-coupling reactions because they are stable, nontoxic, and easy to handle. Using feedstock toluenes, one-pot direct benzylic C-H silylations, germylations, and stannylations are developed. Simply combining toluenes, LiN(SiMe

Abstract ObjectiveTo determine the epidemiological characteristics of norovirus infections in Lin’an District, Hangzhou City from 2012 to 2020, and provide scientific evidence for improving preventive and control measures.MethodsDescriptive epidemiological methods were used to characterize the epidemic and conduct statistical analysis to determine related factors.ResultsA total of 37 clustered outbreaks of norovirus infection were reported in Lin’an District of Hangzhou from 2012 to 2020, including 8 outbreaks in kindergartens, 15 ones in elementary schools, 8 ones in middle and high schools, 2 ones in universities, and 4 other ones. The total number of cases with norovirus infection was 1 194, with the average attack rate of 3.76%. The incidence of norovirus was higher in winter and spring. It was also higher in urban areas, followed by suburban and mountainous areas neighbored to traffic lines. Moreover, attack rates differed significantly by transmission routes, including mixed contact and aerosol transmission, contact transmission, food-borne transmission, and water-borne transmission (χ2=186.91,P<0.001). There was significant difference in the incidence among kindergartens, schools, and universities (χ2=980.15,P<0.001). In the 37 outbreaks, norovirus were mainly classified as GⅡ in the 34 ones (accounting for 91.89%), and GⅠ in the remaining 3 ones.ConclusionThe epidemic of norovirus infection in Lin’an District, Hangzhou City is characterized by certain population, time, space, transmission routes, and strains. It warrants enhanced health education and promotion, preparedness and response plan, syndromic surveillance, early alerting, school closure, and environmental disinfection for further prevention and control of norovirus infection.

Abstract Urban soils are strongly related to human health. In this study, Lin’an city was chosen as a typical small-scale city with which to study the spatial variation of potentially hazardous metals (PHMs) in urban soils and their potential ecological risks using multivariate analysis, geostatistics and GIS techniques. A total of 62 soil samples were collected from the study area. The results showed that the average concentrations of total soil Mn, Cu, Zn, Pb, Cr, Cd were 439.42, 42.23, 196.80, 62.55, 63.65, 0.22 mg·kg−1, respectively. Compared with the background values and the environmental quality standards, these PHMs were accumulated in urban soils to some extent. The single potential ecological risk indices of PHMs indicated that Pb and Cd had relatively high ecological risks. The pH and most of the PHMs had significant correlations (p < 0.05). The principle components analysis (PCA) showed that Pb, Zn and Cu had similar pollution sources related to the vehicles’ exhaust emission; Mn and Cr were mainly from the parent materials; while Cd was from the emission of industrial manufactories. The spatial structures and distributions of PHMs and their corresponding available fractions had strong/moderate spatial autocorrelation, which were influenced by human activities.

Abstract Qi-Lin pill (QLP), a traditional Chinese medicine prescription (TCMP), composed of fifteen herbal medicines, has been widely used for the treatment of male infertility. However, an in-depth understanding of the chemical constituents of QLP and its in vivo metabolic study is lacking. In this study, a method using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadruple time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC/Q-TOF-MS) was established for comprehensive analysis of chemical constituents of QLP and their metabolites in plasma, urine, bile and feces after gastric perfusion. The method guaranteed the fast discovery of representative structural fragment information and provided efficient structure clues for identification based on data from MS

Abstract ICOMOS Florence Declaration in 2014, encourages an in-depth reflection on human values through cultural heritage and landscapes, which emphasizes the importance of historical heritage sites, in order to achieve the application of cultural heritage records through the public participation, sharing new technology platform and facilitation tools for knowledge diffusion, for instance. Nikos adopted digitized intangible cultural heritage within i-Treasures project to create a novel digital platform in 2016. Nowadays, the display platform developed based on geographic information system has been gradually accepted and widely used to distribute cultural heritage information, aiming to combine geography, time, events, issues, trends with the interactive maps to show the context of data changes from the consideration of planarity; for example, Burnaby City in Canada has cooperated with the Columbia University to create a navigation platform for guidance of tangible cultural heritage based on story maps in order to provide public recognition function. In this study, Qiong-Lin Settlement in Kinmen Area was taken as an example to illustrate the developing process of an overall planning framework for reappearing the glory of historic settlements of cultural heritage sites with digital technology, which included tangible and intangible cultural heritage preservation and transmission planning, community participation and digital navigation programs. The digital technology with the GIS-based digital platform can provide more diverse and interesting information while using an intuitive, graphical user story mapping interface. So that tangible cultural heritage can be effectively understood, interpreted and preserved with the value-added methods, and also intangible cultural heritage can be continuously transmitted to establish a complete system of cultural heritage preservation. The main contents include several navigation technologies, such as 3D laser scanning, UAV images, photogrammetry, panorama, audio/video, geographic information systems etc.
