Abstract Undoubtedly, Rousseau's ideas in the field of application and practice can be given a prominent role in education. As in France itself, they recognized him late and understood his thoughts, and 16 years after Rousseau's death, his body was transferred to the Pantheon (the mausoleum of great men of that country) by the decision of the French Revolutionary Assembly and was buried here, perhaps for a period of time. It takes a lot to put his ideas into practice. But what is clear is that in the matter of teaching and learning, this theory can be greatly benefited in the following dimensions: 1- Learner: Rousseau's emphasis on knowing the student is comprehensive and he believes that one should have the necessary and sufficient information about the student before any effective action. Modern psychological theories also emphasize the importance of knowing the student in the medical education group or other similar groups, the first step for teaching and learning should be the foundation of knowing the students. The teacher must know the learner in terms of cognitive processes, previous experiences, intelligence and talent, background, motivation, emotional maturity, etc. because all these things will be effective in his teaching and communication methods, and without the knowledge of these processes, he will build an intellectual scaffolding. And the pre-organizers cannot have high hopes for the results of their work. The teacher should know the needs of the learner and guide the curriculum in that direction, and the most important thing is to take into account the individual differences of the learners. It is also important to pay attention to the cognitive development stages of learners and what should be provided to Anna at each stage. 2- Instructor: The role of the instructor should be a facilitator and guide. The teacher should be a complete practical model for the learners. Even in theories of social-cognitive psychology such as Bandura, the role of the model and the fact that the giver must perform well in ...

Abstract Background: This study aimed to determine the global prevalence of suicidal ideation and attempts among men who have sex with men (MSM) as a systematic review, and meta-analysis.
Methods: For this meta-analysis, a search in four international databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and EMBASE) was designed, and performed. In the next step, the information extraction checklist was prepared based on the study authors' opinions, and the quality of the articles was evaluated using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale (NOS) checklist. Data meta-analysis was performed using STATA16 software with a significance level below 0.05.
Results: The results showed the prevalence of suicidal ideation, and suicide attempts among MSM was 21% (95% CI 17%-26%), and 12% (95% CI 8%-17%), respectively. The results of the subgroup analysis showed that the prevalence of suicidal ideation in the population of MSM living with Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was 40% (95% CI 35%-45%), and the prevalence of suicide attempts among MSM with HIV was 10% (95% CI 1%-27%). The prevalence of suicidal ideation in European MSM, and the prevalence of suicide attempts among American MSM were higher than other MSM in other geographical areas.
Conclusion: Considering that the prevalence of suicidal ideation and attempts among these people is many times higher than that among men in the general population, developing programs for the prevention of mental disorders with special attention to suicide is necessary for these people. Screening programs are also recommended for early diagnosis and prevention of suicide among these people.

Abstract Background: If colorectal cancer (CRC) is diagnosed in the early stages, the patients will have higher survival rates. Although some other factors might affect the survival rate, the type of treatment available based on existing health and therapeutic facilities is extremely important as well. Accordingly, this study aimed to explore the best type of treatment for CRC patients.
Study design: This study employed a retrospective population-based cohort design.
Methods: The data of 335 patients with CRC in Kurdistan province were collected through a population-based cancer registry system from March 1, 2009 to 2014. Demographic and clinical-pathologic data of the patients were gathered through their medical records, pathology reports, and reference to patients' homes. The survival rate was calculated using the Kaplan-Meier curve, log-rank test, and univariate and multivariate Cox regression. The data were analyzed using Stata 14 software.
Results: In this study, the mean age±standard deviation at diagnosis was 61.7± 1.05 in men and 60.5± 1.12 in women, respectively, and 203 (60.5%) patients were males. There was less mortality rate among the patients who received both surgical and chemotherapy treatments compared to those who did not receive any treatment (Hazard ratio [HR]=0.57, 95% CI: 0.24-0.93).
Conclusion: When CRC patients are treated using both surgical and chemotherapy treatments, they will exhibit a higher survival rate. Therefore, it is suggested to use both treatments for CRC patients.

Abstract The objective of this study was to determine the survival rate and the effects of different treatments on patients with inflammatory breast cancer (IBC). The study employed a systematic approach that included a search strategy across four databases: Embase, Web of Sciences, PubMed, and Scopus. The results obtained were screened initially by titles and abstracts, followed by full-texts in EndNote 8 software. The next stage involved data extraction and qualitative evaluation, where the Metan command was used to estimate the pooled survival rate. A total of 28 studies with a sample size of 63,796 were finally analyzed. The overall 3- and 5-year survival rates (OS) for IBC patients were found to be 52% (95% CI; 46-58%, I2: 99.42%) and 61% (95% CI; 53-69%, I2: 93.63%), respectively. The 5-year OS rates in patients with non-metastatic and metastatic IBC were 59% (95% CI; 54-63%, I2: 98.31%) and 30% (95% CI; 26-35%, I2: 50.84%), respectively. The 5-year OS rate in non-metastatic patients who underwent BCS surgery was 60% (CI 95%; 26-94%, I2: 95.13%). The overall 5- and 3-year OS rates for patients with IBC were lower than those for all types of breast cancer, and the rates were even lower in patients with metastasis. Therefore, it is recommended that healthcare workers and women at risk should be vigilant of early symptoms of IBC to prevent metastasis by seeking medical attention on time.

Abstract Background: The effect of HBV on neonatal and maternal outcomes can create a basis for more accurate clinical decision-making. So, the aim of this meta-analysis is to detrmine the effect of chronic hepatitis B virus on the risk of pregnancy outcomes by combining cohort studies.
Methods: International databases in this meta-analysis included the Cumulated Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), SPORT Discuss via the EBSCO interface, PubMed (Medline), Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, which were searched up to April 2023. All cohort studies reporting the risk ratio (RR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI) were included in the study. The quality assessment was done based on the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS).
Results: Finally, thirty-five cohort studies were selected for meta-analysis. Outcomes of interest included pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, abortion, preterm birth, infant death, and other related outcomes. Results showed that the pooled RR for incident gestational diabetes in pregnant women with choronic hepatitis B infection was 1.16 (RR: 1.16; 95% CI 1.13-1.18; I-square: 92.89%; P value: 0.00). Similarly, the association between the presence of hepatitis B infection in pregnant women and the occurrence of pre-eclampsia was 1.10 (RR: 1.10; 95% CI 1.04-1.16; I-square: 92.06%; P value: 0.00). The risk of preterm delivery in pregnant women with hepatitis B infection was 1.17 times that of pregnant women without hepatitis B infection (RR: 1.17; 95% CI 1.14-1.20; I-squared: 94.32%; P value: 0.00).
Conclusion: This meta-analysis found that hepatitis B infection during pregnancy may be associated with an increased risk of gestational diabetes, preterm delivery, pre-eclampsia, and eclampsia. However, confirmation of this association, as well as the specific biological pathways involved in the association between HBV infection and pregnancy outcomes, requires further investigation.

Abstract Background: Depression due to stigma resulting from their sexual identity, isolation, social exclusion, and insufficient access to care and counseling services has become a health problem among men who have sex with men (MSM).
Objectives: This study aimed to determine the global prevalence of depression among MSM as a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: This study was a systematic review and meta-analysis performed in five steps of search strategy, screening and selecting articles, data extraction, evaluation of the risk of bias, and meta-analysis. In this study, the determined keywords were searched in the databases of PubMed, Scopus, Embase, and Web of Science from January 1913 to July 2021 to find the initial articles, from which data were extracted according to the set checklist in the data extraction stage. Finally, the studies were included in the present meta-analysis according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, to be evaluated using the Newcastle Ottawa scale checklist. I Square and Q Cochrane were also used to assess the degree of heterogeneity. The analyses were performed using the random-effects model in STATA 16.
Results: The results showed the quality score of the majority of cross-sectional studies included in the meta-analysis (62 studies) was equal to six or seven (moderate), and five ones had a high-quality score. After combining these studies, the pooled prevalence of depression among MSM in the world was 35% (95% CI 31%-39%, I square; 98.95%, P-value < 0.001). Population subgroup analysis showed the pooled prevalence of depression among MSM living with HIV was 47% (95% CI 39%-55%, I square; 95.76%, P-value < 0.001). Continent subgroup analysis showed the highest pooled prevalence of depression among Asian MSM at 37% (95% CI 31%-43%, I square; 99.07%, P-value < 0.001). Also, in the subgroup analysis of the sampling method, the pooled prevalence in the studies which used the respondent-driven sampling method was equal to 34% (95% CI 25%-43%, I square; 99.32%, P-value < 0.001). Sensitivity analysis revealed the pooled prevalence of depression in studies included in the meta-analysis was near or around the pooled estimate.
Conclusion: The pooled prevalence of depression among MSM was almost three times higher than the general male population. Therefore, particular and therapeutic interventions such as screening, and harm reduction programs for mental disorders, especially depression, are suggested to be considered in service packages.

Abstract Background: Methamphetamine use in men who have sex with men population is significantly higher than that in the general population. Meth use can cause high-risk sexual behaviors, such as having sex with a variety of sexual partners. The aim of this study was to determine the association between meth use and the number of sexual partners in MSM.
Methods: Searching international databases (PubMed (Medline), Scopus, Web of Sciences, Embase (Elsevier), PsycInfo (Ovid), Cochrane CENTRAL (Ovid)) until March 2021 was performed in this meta-analysis using appropriate keywords terms to identify related articles. After retrieving articles in these databases, screening was performed based on the title, abstract and full text of the articles, and the final related studies were selected and evaluated using the Newcastle Ottawa scale checklist.
Results: The sample size consisted 18,455 people in this study, including four cohort studies with a sample size of 15,026 MSM and four case-control studies with a sample size of 3429 MSM. The results of meta-analysis showed that meth use increased the number of sexual partners in MSM (RR: 3.70; % 95 CI: 2.04-6.70). The results of subgroup analyze based on the number of sexual partners showed that in MSM taking meth, the risks of having one to three, four to five, and six or more than six sexual partners were respectively 2.82, 2.98 and 5.89 times higher than those in MSM who did not take meth.
Conclusion: The results showed that meth uses in MSM increased the number of their sexual partners. Due to the fact that increasing the number of sexual partners and high-risk sexual behaviors increase the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, it is necessary to adopt control programs to prevent meth use by this group, or to implement programs of reduction in the risk of STIs for this group.

Abstract HIV testing uptake was around 70% among female sex workers (FSWs) in Iran in 2015. Due to the recognized importance of HIV testing in prevention, care, and treatment among FSWs, this study aimed to provide an update and also an improvement as it uses respondent-driven sampling (RDS) for the frequency and the correlates of HIV testing among FSWs in Iran. A total of 1,515 FSWs were recruited from eight cities in Iran between 2019-2020 using RDS. Data were collected using face-to-face interviews. Also, rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) were used to determine HIV and syphilis status as per national guidelines. We used multivariable logistic regression to explore correlates of HIV testing in the last 12 months. Of 1,399 FSWs who had data for HIV testing, 44.7% (95% Confidence Intervals (CI): 40.7; 48.7) reported HIV testing in the last 12 months. The odds of HIV testing in the last 12 months was higher among FSWs who used a condom at last sex with a non-paying partner (Adjusted OR = 1.78; 95% CI: 1.39; 2.27), never used alcohol (Adjusted OR = 1.72; 95% CI: 1.33; 2.23), ever used drug (Adjusted OR = 1.60; 95% CI: 1.22; 2.08). HIV testing among FSWs in Iran is considerably low. It is necessary to know the barriers to HIV testing to improve the cascade of HIV treatment in the country.
