Abstract Alpha N A self-powered, wheel driven Automated Delivery Robot is presented in this paper. The ADR is capable of navigating autonomously by detecting and avoiding objects or obstacles in its path. It uses a vector map of the path and calculates the shortest path by Grid Count Method of Dijkstra Algorithm. Landmark determination with Radio Frequency Identification tags are placed in the path for identification and verification of source and destination, and also for the recalibration of the current position. On the other hand, an Object Detection Module is built by Faster RCNN with VGGNet16 architecture for supporting path planning by detecting and recognizing obstacles. The Path Planning System is combined with the output of the GCM, the RFID Reading System and also by the binary results of ODM. This PPS requires a minimum speed of 200 RPM and 75 seconds duration for the robot to successfully relocate its position by reading an RFID tag. In the result analysis phase, the ODM exhibits an accuracy of 83.75 percent, RRS shows 92.3 percent accuracy and the PPS maintains an accuracy of 85.3 percent. Stacking all these 3 modules, the ADR is built, tested and validated which shows significant improvement in terms of performance and usability comparing with other service robots.

Abstract Neuropathic pain (NP) remains maltreated for a wide number of patients by the currently available treatments and little research has been done in finding new drugs for treating NP. Ziconotide (PrialtTM) had been developed as the new drug, which belongs to the class of ω-conotoxin MVIIA. It inhibits N-type calcium channels. Ziconotide is under the last phase of the clinical trial, a new non-narcotic drug for the management of NP. Synthetically it has shown the similarities with ω-conotoxin MVIIA, a constituent of poison found in fish hunting snails (Conus magus). Ziconotide acts by selectively blocking neural N-type voltage-sensitized Ca2+ channels (NVSCCs). Certain herbal drugs also have been studied but no clinical result is there and the study is only limited to preclinical data. This review emphasizes the N-type calcium channel inhibitors, and their mechanisms for blocking calcium channels with their remedial prospects for treating chronic NP.

Abstract The extractive summarization approach involves selecting the source document's salient sentences to build a summary. One of the most important aspects of extractive summarization is learning and modelling cross-sentence associations. Inspired by the popularity of Transformer-based Bidirectional Encoder Representations (BERT) pretrained linguistic model and graph attention network (GAT) having a sophisticated network that captures intersentence associations, this research work proposes a novel neural model N-GPETS by combining heterogeneous graph attention network with BERT model along with statistical approach using TF-IDF values for extractive summarization task. Apart from sentence nodes, N-GPETS also works with different semantic word nodes of varying granularity levels that serve as a link between sentences, improving intersentence interaction. Furthermore, proposed N-GPETS becomes more improved and feature-rich by integrating graph layer with BERT encoder at graph initialization step rather than employing other neural network encoders such as CNN or LSTM. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the first attempt to combine the BERT encoder and TF-IDF values of the entire document with a heterogeneous attention graph structure for the extractive summarization task. The empirical outcomes on benchmark news data sets CNN/DM show that the proposed model N-GPETS gets favorable results in comparison with other heterogeneous graph structures employing the BERT model and graph structures without the BERT model.

Abstract Abstract A new species of the genus Lutziella (Rohde, 1966) Yamaguti, 1971 is described here and named Lutziella swatensis sp.nov. from the liver of rat (Rattus rattus L.). The new species is characterized by having body flat, smooth, longer than broad with maximum width at the level of the ovary, oral sucker with weak musculature, pharynx small; eosophagus long; caeca of irregular shape which bifurcate on the anterior border of the ovary in to unequal portions, acetabulum weakly muscular, post-testicular, testes lobed, cirrus pouch somewhat median, small in size containing winding seminal vesicle, prostatic complex and short ejaculatory duct. Genital pore median. Ovary post testicular, submedian; seminal receptacle overlapping ovary, laurer’s canal present. Vitellaria follicular extending on each side from almost the level of testes to anterior portion of posterior half of the body. Uterus filled with eggs occupying most of the body, eggs oval rather small, numerous, brownish in colour, excretory vesicle tubular with terminal pore. Lutziella swatensis n. sp. is the second species of the genus known from Pakistan as well as the second species described from murid rodents in the world.

Abstract In the present study, a highly selective and sensitive electrochemical sensing platform for the detection of dopamine was developed with CuO nanoparticles embedded in N-doped carbon nanostructure (CuO@NDC). The successfully fabricated nanostructures were characterized by standard instrumentation techniques. The fabricated CuO@NDC nanostructures were used for the development of dopamine electrochemical sensor. The reaction mechanism of a dopamine on the electrode surface is a three-electron three-proton process. The proposed sensor's performance was shown to be superior to several recently reported investigations. Under optimized conditions, the linear equation for detecting dopamine by differential pulse voltammetry is
