Abstract To solve the problem of ship automatic berthing control due to unknown time-varying disturbance and dynamic uncertainty of model parameters, an automatic berthing control law based on predefined performance time function is proposed. First, a predefined performance time function is designed and coupled with tracking error to achieve the predetermined performance of tracking error. Secondly, radial basis function neural network is used to approach the dynamic uncertainty of ship model parameters, and the complex uncertainty of model parameters and unknown time-varying disturbance is represented by linearized parameter form with single virtual parameter, which makes the calculation simple and easy to implement in engineering. On this basis, the reverse step control law is designed. Thirdly, the stability of the system is proved based on Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the simulation results show that the control law can make the ship reach the desired position and heading angle, and realize the automatic berthing of the ship. The control law and berthing controller designed in this paper have good applicability and robustness, which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent control research of surface intelligent ships.

Abstract Hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, a common and unavoidable pathophysiological process during liver transplantation or resection operation, may impede postoperative liver function recovery, and its mechanism and targeted therapy remain largely unknown. SIRT5 is a well-known deacetylase and participates in the regulation of many physiological and pathological processes, including I/R. The role of SIRT5 in I/R is controversial or tissue-specific, restricting I/R progression in the heart while deteriorating injury in the kidney and brain, while its effect on hepatic I/R remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the function of SIRT5 in hepatic I/R using AAV8 and lentivirus to overexpress SIRT5 in vivo and in vitro. The data showed that SIRT5 overexpression alleviated liver I/R injury in mice and hypoxia/reoxygenation treated AML-12 cells. Moreover, gain- and loss-of-function of SIRT5, SOD1 and IDH2 experiments in AML-12 were performed. Our results demonstrated that SOD1 and IDH2 knockdown abolished the effect of SIRT5 on restraining oxidative stress and inflammation. Therefore, our work revealed that SIRT5 may alleviates hepatic I/R injury by diminishing oxidative stress and inflammation via up-regulating the SOD1 and IDH2 expression, which enriches the theory and therapeutic strategies of hepatic I/R injury.

Abstract Assessing potential threats typically necessitates the use of a robust mathematical model, a comprehensive evaluation method and universal decision rules. A novel approach is utilized in this study to optimize existing threat assessment (TA) algorithms and three-way decision models (3WDMs) are leveraged that incorporate decision-theoretic rough sets (DTRSs) within dynamic intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) environments to create a mixed-attitude 3WDM based on the IF-VIKOR-GRA method in the context of aviation warfare. The primary objectives of this study include determining conditional probabilities for IF three-way decisions (3WDs) and establishing mixed-attitude decision thresholds. Both the target attribute and loss function are expressed in the form of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs). To calculate these conditional probabilities, an IF technique is used to combine the multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) method VIKOR and the grey relational analysis (GRA) method, while also taking into account the risk-related preferences of decision-makers (DMs). Optimistic and pessimistic 3WDMs are developed from the perspectives of membership degree and non-membership degree, then subsequently integrated into the comprehensive mixed-attitude 3WDM. The feasibility and effectiveness of this methodology are demonstrated through a numerical example and by comparison to other existing approaches.

Abstract The principal objective of this study was to screen and verify reference genes appropriate for gene expression evaluation during plant growth and development under distinct growth conditions. Nine candidate reference genes were screened based on garlic transcriptome sequence data. RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression levels of the aforementioned reference genes in specific tissues under drought and cold stress. Then, geNorm, NormFinder, BestKeeper, and ReFinder were used to consider the consistency of the expression levels of candidate reference genes. Finally, the stress-responsive gene expression of ascorbate peroxidase (
