Abstract Monitoring COVID-19 patients with COPD has become one of the major tasks in preventing transmission and delivering emergency healthcare services after vaccination in case of any issues. Most COVID-19-affected patients are suggested to self-quarantine at home or in institutionalized quarantine centers. In such cases, it is essential to provide remote healthcare services. For remote healthcare monitoring, two approaches are being considered in this study, which include mHealth and Telehealth. A mixed-methods approach is adopted, where survey questionnaires are used for collecting information from 108 patients and semi-structured interviews are used with seven physicians regarding mHealth and Telehealth approaches. Survey results indicated that mHealth is rated to be slightly more effective than Telehealth, and interview results indicated that Telehealth is identified to be slightly more effective than mHealth in relation to parameters including usefulness, ease of use and learnability, interface and interaction quality, reliability, and satisfaction. However, both physicians and patients opined that both mHealth and Telehealth have a promising future with increasing adoption. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that both mHealth and Telehealth are considered to be effective in delivering remote care for COPD patients infected with COVID-19 at home. Implications of the study findings are discussed.

Abstract Objectives: To review Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) trends in Saudi Arabia.Mohs micrographic surgery is a precise surgical technique that has been proven to have the highest cure rate with maximum normal tissue preservation. It is the treatment of choice for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), especially the aggressive histopathological forms, and tumors located in high-risk regions or where tissue preservation is a mandate.
Methods: A multicentric retrospective study was performed on patients who underwent MMS between January 2010 and September 2022. The information was extracted from the database of King Saud University Medical City and Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Saudi Arabia.
Results: A total of 70 participants were enrolled in this study. Two-thirds (67%) of the tumors that were treated using MMS were basal-cell carcinomas (BCC), 18.6% were squamous cell carcinomas (SCC), 5.7% were sebaceous carcinoma, 4.3% were dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP), and 1.4% were rare tumors such as primary mucinous carcinoma. The most common type of reconstruction used to repair post-MMS defect was primary closure in more than half of the patients followed by secondary intention healing (20%). There were no side effects apart from a hematoma in one patient and wound infection in two patients.
Conclusion: Although MMS is still generally underutilized in Saudi Arabia, its use has increased in the last decade.

Abstract Finerenone, a non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist, has gained recent approval for treating cardiovascular and kidney-related conditions. Herein, an innovative fluorescence chemo sensor was developed for the determination of finerenone in the pharmaceutical dosage form and the plasma matrix. The method is basically based on chemical transformation of finerenone into a fluorescent product through sequential reactions. This transformation occurs through a sequence of steps involving the interaction of finerenone with trimethylamine, resulting in the formation of a nucleophilic intermediate that subsequently reacts with bromoacetyl bromide to form fluorescent product, (S)-N-(2-bromoacetyl)-4-(4-cyano-2-methoxyphenyl)-5-ethoxy-2,8-dimethyl-1,4-dihydro-1,6-naphthyridine-3-carboxamide. The formed fluorescent product exhibits defined emission peak at 338 nm when excited at 248 nm. Significant concentration-dependent fluorescence enhancement was obtained enabling precise finerenone determination in the pharmaceutical formulation and plasma matrix. The method was optimized and validated providing sensitive determination over linearity range of 1-200 ng/mL with a lower limit of detection at 0.280 ng/mL. This strategy provides an efficient, economical substitute and straightforward, more sensitive analytical method for finerenone assessment in various matrices, in contrast to the previously published method, high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, which is expensive and time-consuming.

Abstract This study aims to select the physiological and neurophysiological studies utilized in advertising and to address the fragmented comprehension of consumers' mental responses to advertising held by marketers and advertisers. To fill the gap, the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework was employed to select relevant articles, and bibliometric analysis was conducted to determine global trends and advancements in advertising and neuromarketing. The study selected and analyzed forty-one papers from the Web of Science (WoS) database from 2009-2020. The results indicated that Spain, particularly the Complutense University of Madrid, was the most productive country and institution, respectively, with 11 and 3 articles. The journal Frontiers in Psychology was the most prolific, with eight articles. The article "Neuromarketing: The New Science of Consumer Behavior" had the most citations (152 T.Cs). Additionally, the researchers discovered that the inferior frontal and middle temporal gyri were associated with pleasant and unpleasant emotions, respectively, while the right superior temporal and right middle frontal gyrus was connected to high and low arousal. Furthermore, the right prefrontal cortex (PFC) and left PFC were linked to withdrawal and approach behaviors. In terms of the reward system, the ventral striatum played a critical role, while the orbitofrontal cortex and ventromedial PFC were connected to perception. As far as we know, this is the first paper that focused on the global academic trends and developments of neurophysiological and physiological instruments used in advertising in the new millennium, emphasizing the significance of intrinsic and extrinsic emotional processes, endogenous and exogenous attentional processes, memory, reward, motivational attitude, and perception in advertising campaigns.

Conclusion: Based on the currently available evidence, maternal exposure to periconceptional stress could be considered a risk factor for NSOFCs. Therefore, we strongly recommend research investigating the effect of stress caused by the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic on the incidence of clefts.
