Abstract Objective: This study examines the impact of early psychological intervention for patients undergoing nursing process modification through a business process reengineering (BPR) approach in preventing intracranial aneurysm embolism.
Methods: A randomized controlled trial (RCT) design was employed in this study. A randomized method was utilized to allocate a total of 201 cases into two distinct groups. 10 patients experiencing delirium and coma due to drug sedation were excluded from the analysis. Consequently, the final distribution included 96 cases in the nursing group and 95 cases in the routine group.
Results: In the nursing group, waiting time, nursing staff working hours, and hospital stay were significantly lower compared to the routine group (t = 50.916, 28.893, 4.298, P < .05). No substantial difference in actual running time between the groups was observed (t=0.289, P > .05). Scores for physical pain, psychological well-being, material life status, and social function were notably higher in the nursing group than in the routine group (t=19.109, 20.658, 21.165, 24.014, P < .05). Post-intervention, SAS and SDS scores in the nursing group were significantly lower than those in the routine group (t=21.910, 25.808, P < .05). The complication rate in the nursing group (1.04%) was significantly lower than that in the routine group (8.42%) (χ2=5.791, P < .05). Furthermore, nursing staff job satisfaction (92.71%) was significantly higher than that in the routine group (78.13%) (χ2=7.449, P < .05).
Conclusions: The modification of the nursing process demonstrates a positive impact on efficiency and quality of care, ensuring patient safety and meeting patient needs without altering surgical techniques. The findings highlight substantial enhancements and effectiveness of nursing process, providing strong support for the broad implementation of these interventions.

Abstract Most of the canonical macroeconomic models simulate liquidity anomalies by changing the economic fundamentals or adding massive financial shock to firms’ collateral constraints, but a few facts somehow tell a different story. Instead of relying on the exogenous shocks, we introduce uncertainty into an otherwise classical liquidity framework and try to answer what worsens the aggregate liquidity in the absence of exogenous simulations and what a firm dynamics and financing strategy would be. Our analysis shows that (1) uncertainty induces agents to make decisions under the worst-case scenario and hence generates a unique expectation threshold that drags market (or firms) liquidity from sufficiency to insufficiency even without any shock or economic changes. (2) Precautionary saving occurs before the real liquidity shortage as the expectation shifts, causing firms to secure external financing by raising the equity issuing price and hoarding liquid assets, such as fiat money, against liquidity tightening. (3) To achieve liquidity stability and sustainability, an extra mathematical constraint is supplemented for the uniqueness and the existence of equilibrium under uncertainty. Other properties of firms’ intertemporal allocations, such as the bid-ask spread and return of holding of the illiquid asset, are derived. Moreover, some approaches for further empirical research are discussed.

Abstract Allowing there to be an undersupply of medical resources and infection amid the social workforce, this paper proposes a theory to show how panic buying is induced and how bad the workforce status could be. By developing a novel general equilibrium model, we find that for any retail price that is higher than the buyer's reserve value, the buying competition will be induced and the medical resources supply will further be tightened. Moreover, if the transmission rate of COVID-19 surpasses the theoretical threshold that is proposed by this paper, the whole workforce in our simulated economy will inevitably be infected.

Abstract Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of High intensity-focused ultrasound(HIFU) for different types of adenomyosis classified by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Methods: A total of 227 patients with adenomyosis who underwent HIFU treatment in Suining Central Hospital from January 2014 to December 2019 were included. Based on the preoperative pelvic MRI examination and Kishi isometric classification method, the patients were divided into 4 types according to the location of lesions. There were 82 cases of type I (endogenous type), 75 cases of type II (exogenous type), 34 cases of type III (nodular type), and 36 cases of type IV (heterogeneous type). The results of HIFU treatment for four types of adenomyosis and intraoperative adverse effects were analyzed. The changes of lesion size, dysmenorrhea, and menstrual volume were analyzed at 3 and 6 months after the operation.
Result: (1) adverse effects: All patients successfully accepted HIFU treatment under sedation and analgesia. Grade A adverse effects occurred in 51 cases (22.47%) and grade B adverse effects in 3 cases (1.32%). The incidence of adverse effects in type I-IV patients was 21.95%, 22.66%, 23.53%, and 30.56%, respectively. There was no significant difference in the incidence of grade A and B adverse effects in all types, and no grade C-F adverse effects occurred. (2) Ablation effect: The ablation rate of type III(nodular type)patients was (74.7 ± 20.3) %, which was significantly higher than that of the other three types (
Conclusions: HIFU is safe and effective in the treatment of different types of adenomyosis, the therapeutic effect of HIFU in patients with type III adenomyosis is better than that of the other three types.

Abstract An ophthalmic swept source-optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) system based on a high-speed scanning laser at 1060 nm with a scanning rate of 100 KHz is constructed. Since the sample arm of the interferometer is comprised of multiple glass materials, the ensuing dispersion severely degrades imaging quality. In this article, second-order dispersion simulation analysis for various materials was performed first, and dispersion equilibrium was implemented utilizing physical compensation methods. After dispersion compensation, an imaging depth in air of 4.013 mm was achieved in model eye experiments, and signal-to-noise ratio was enhanced by 11.6%, with a value of 53.8 dB. In vivo imaging of the human retina was performed to demonstrate structurally distinguishable retinal images, characterized by an axial resolution improvement of 19.8%, with a value of 7.7 μm close to the theoretical value of 7.5 μm. The proposed physical dispersion compensation method enhances imaging performance in SS-OCT systems, enabling visualization of several low scattering mediums.

Abstract Purpose: To investigate the predictive factors of pathologic complete response (pCR) in locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC) patients who had been treated with neoadjuvant chemoradiation (nCRT).
Methods and materials: For this retrospective study, 53 LARC patients (37 males and 16 females; age range 25 to 79 years) were selected. Clinical characteristics, baseline mrTNM staging, MR gross tumor volumes (GTV), and pCR were evaluated. The diagnostic accuracy of GTV for predicting pCR was calculated.
Results: Among 53 LARC patients, 15 patients achieved pCR (28.3%), while 38 patients achieved non-pCR. Only three (5.7%) out of 53 patients did not downstage after nCRT. GTV and tumor differentiation were the significant prognostic parameters for predicting pCR. A tumor volume threshold of 21.1 cm
Conclusion: Tumor volume and tumor differentiation have significant predictive values in preoperative assessment of pCR among LARC patients. These findings aid clinicians to discriminate those patients who may likely benefit from preoperative regimens and to make optimal treatment plans.

Abstract Background: With the advent of the new media era, the understanding of adolescent internet addiction needs to be enriched. It is also necessary to distinguish the related factors of adolescent internet addiction at different levels to clarify the mechanisms of this phenomenon.
Methods: This study used hierarchical linear model analysis to explore the effects of student-level factors and school-level factors on adolescent internet addiction, along with cross-level moderating effects. A total of 1,912 students between the 4th and 8th grades in China participated in the study. Participants completed the Self-Esteem Scale, Parents Phubbing Scale, Classroom Environment Scale, and the Diagnostic Questionnaire of Internet Addiction.
Results: Correlational analyses revealed that internet addiction was found to be negatively correlated with both self-esteem and the teacher-student relationship (p < 0.01), while father phubbing, mother phubbing, and learning burden were shown to positively correlate with internet addiction (p < 0.01). Hierarchical linear model analysis suggested that student-level variables, including self-esteem, and mother phubbing, were significant predictors of internet addiction (β = -0.077, p < 0.001 and β = 0.028, p < 0.01, respectively). At the school level, learning burden significantly and negatively predicted internet addiction (β = 0.073, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the relationship between self-esteem and internet addiction was significantly moderated by learning burden (β = -0.007, p < 0.05). Meanwhile, the teacher-student relationship also had a significant moderating effect on the association between mother phubbing and internet addiction (β = -0.005, p < 0.01).
Conclusions: This study revealed the relationships between self-esteem, parental phubbing, and classroom environment with adolescent internet addiction, and these findings could provide insights into reducing adolescent internet addiction from the perspective of individuals, families, and schools.
