Abstract Endometrial cancer (EC) is the most common cancer of the uterus and the only gynecologic malignancy that is increasing in incidence and mortality. Early-stage EC generally has a good prognosis but 5-year survival is poor for those with advanced-stage disease or recurrent disease. This resource provides the latest information on epidemiology, risk factors and diagnosis, including the implications of Lynch syndrome in younger women, and the latest thinking on classification, grading, staging and prognostic risk groups, made possible by major advances in the molecular characterization of EC. The therapeutic implications of these advances are still being discovered and here we outline the latest evidence-based therapies and management of the disease. Table of Contents: • Epidemiology and risk factors • Diagnosis • Grading, staging and prognosis • Molecular characterization • Treatment of early-stage disease • Management of advanced and recurrent disease • Research directions.

Abstract Mobile apps have great potential to deliver promising interventions to engage consumers and change their health-related behaviors, such as healthy eating. Currently, the interventions for promoting healthy eating are either too onerous to keep consumers engaged or too restrictive to keep consumers connected with healthcare professionals. In addition, while social media allows individuals to receive information from many sources, it is unclear how peer support interacts with professional support in the context of such interventions. This study proposes and evaluates three mobile-enabled interventions to address these challenges. We examine their effects on user engagement and food choices via a 4-month randomized field experiment. Mixed models provide strong evidence of the positive effect of image-based dietitian support and negative effects of peer support, and moderate evidence of the positive effects of mobile-based visual diary, highlighting the value of mobile apps for delivering advanced interventions to engage users and facilitate behavior change.

Abstract Most of the pathologies that affect hedgehogs are diagnosed postmortem; thus, it is essential to share knowledge between clinicians and pathologists in order to recognize predispositions to diseases and to establish adequate diagnostic and therapeutic plans. This study aimed to describe the most relevant postmortem pathological conditions in a group of six rescued African pygmy hedgehogs, performed over a period of four months. Hedgehogs were submitted to necropsy examinations and subsequent histopathological analyses. Microscopically, all the studied hedgehogs revealed alterations in one or more organ systems. Although a significant and diverse number of pathological conditions were obtained, this study focused on less common or more relevant pathologies found in African pygmy hedgehogs-namely, wobbly hedgehog syndrome, squamous cell carcinoma and mast cell tumors. Furthermore, this study constitutes the first report of

Abstract This study aims to identify the possibility of using calcium chloride solutions to maintain the best quality of the fruits of the Golden Delicious apple variety stored in cold storage and grown under the conditions of the AL-Marj region in Libya. It was conducted during the 2017 and 2018 planting seasons, and the treatments included spraying with two concentrations of calcium chloride, namely (0% and 0.06%) where the first spray was a month after the peak of flowering, and the spraying was repeated three times, one spray every 30 days, after harvesting, the fruits were immersed before storage in calcium chloride solutions at concentrations of (0%, 2%, 4%, 6%) and stored for (120 days) at a temperature of zero Celsius. The obtained results showed that the use of calcium chloride sprayed on the fruits better preserved their quality compared to the non-sprayed ones. The immersion in calcium chloride solutions also preserved the quality of the fruits by increasing its concentration within the limits of the concentrations included in this study, which makes us conclude the important role of calcium chloride in maintaining the quality of the fruits of this variety.

Abstract Horses are high-performance athletes prone to sportive injuries such as tendonitis and desmitis. The formation of fibrous tissue in tendon repair remains a challenge to overcome. This impels regenerative medicine to develop innovative therapies that enhance regeneration, retrieving original tissue properties. Multipotent Mesenchymal Stem/Stromal Cells (MSCs) have been successfully used to develop therapeutic products, as they secrete a variety of bioactive molecules that play a pivotal role in tissue regeneration. These factors are released in culture media for producing a conditioned medium (CM). The aforementioned assumptions led to the formulation of equine synovial membrane MSCs (eSM-MSCs)-the cellular pool that naturally regenerates joint tissue-combined with a medium enriched in immunomodulatory factors (among other bioactive factors) produced by umbilical cord stroma-derived MSCs (eUC-MSCs) that naturally contribute to suppressing the immune rejection in the maternal-fetal barrier. A description of an equine sport horse diagnosed with acute tarsocrural desmitis and treated with this formulation is presented. Ultrasonographic ligament recovery occurred in a reduced time frame, reducing stoppage time and allowing for the horse's return to unrestricted competition after the completion of a physical rehabilitation program. This study focused on the description of the therapeutic formulation and potential in an equine desmitis treatment using the cells themselves and their secretomes.

Abstract Colors influence our daily perceptions and expectations that manifest in a variety of ways. This research has three main objectives: to demonstrate the relationship between the colors of pills and their expected efficacies, to test this effect on a wide variety of demographics, thereby demonstrating their influence on choices made by participants. Finally, to understand the reasoning behind the choices made by participants, and the color associations exhibited. The results of a series of surveys showed clear similarities and differences across various demographics. The strongest and most consistent color associations were those of white with pain relief and red with stimulant efficacies. The color associations found were red with aggression and power, blue with calmness and serenity, white with calm and purity, yellow with energy, and green with environment and health. The findings of this study can help pharmaceutical companies, and medical practitioners, to better make, market, and prescribe pills, depending on the geographical location, ethnicity, and age group of the patient. This may also strengthen the perceived effects of the pills on patients overall by increasing their compliance rates.

Abstract Atypical cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia is a rare tumour of the head and neck which represents a lymphoproliferative continuum and mimics cutaneous lymphoma. Hereby reporting the case of a 40-year-old gentleman who presented with a swelling over dorsum of nose. On evaluation, Fine needle aspiration cytology was inconclusive with only inflammatory cells. Contrast Enhanced CT Nose and PNS suggested a possibility of a haemangioma. Patient underwent laser assisted excision of mass and frozen section showed sheets of basaloid cells suggestive of basal cell carcinoma. Wide local excision and primary paramedian forehead flap closure was done. Histopathology was suggestive of CD30 + atypical cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia which has potential for malignant transformation into overt lymphoma. Patient underwent pedicle division of flap and is on regular follow up. In this case, aspiration cytology and frozen section reports were discordant with the histopathology, and thereby enlightens us of a rare differential diagnosis for head and neck tumours.

Abstract This clinical case report aims to highlight the unusual presentation of Sneddon syndrome with a possible association with paroxysmal hemicrania. A medical record review was performed at a tertiary hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Data collected include clinical evaluations and laboratory and imaging results. Informed consent was obtained. Hereby, we present a 27-year-old female who presented with multiple stroke attacks, along with severe headaches involving right retro-orbital pain with an eight-year history of spotted skin lesions. Initial unenhanced computed tomography (UCT) brain in the emergency showed left insular cortex hypodensity, revealing acute ischemic insult. Subsequent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) revealed acute ischemic infarct in the territory of the left middle cerebral artery (MCA) involving the insula and frontoparietal lobe. Further investigations were done, including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis and autoimmune and infectious workup, which were unrevealing. Skin biopsy of the lesions showed subcutaneous fat necrosis with nonspecific scattered fibrinogen positivity and was labeled as livedo reticularis vs. livedo racemosa. A Sneddon syndrome diagnosis can be very challenging, needing a high index of suspicion to direct the diagnostic investigations. Moreover, the presence of a severe headache is an unusual phenomenon that needs further study.
