Abstract Purpose: To develop a T
Methods: The venous isolation preparation was achieved by using an FT-VS inversion plus a nonselective inversion (NSI) pulse to null the arterial blood signal while minimally affected capillary blood flows out into the venular vasculature during the outflow time (TO), and then applying an Fourier transform based velocity selective saturation (FT-VSS) pulse to suppress the tissue signal. A multi-echo readout was employed to obtain venous T
Results: The FT-VS-based methods yielded higher venous blood signal and temporal SNR with less CSF contamination than the velocity-selective saturation-based results. The averaged Y
Conclusion: The feasibility of the FT-VS-based Y

Abstract Background: MR imaging has been applied to determine therapeutic response to glucocorticoid (GC) before treatment in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO), while the performance was still poor.
Purpose: To investigate the value of T
    Study type: Retrospective.
    Population: A total of 110 patients (49 ± 12 years; male/female, n = 48/62; responsive/unresponsive, n = 62/48), divided into training (n = 78) and validation (n = 32) cohorts.
    Field strength/sequence: 3.0 T, T
Assessment: W.C. and H.H. (6 and 10 years of experience, respectively) performed the measurements. Maximum, mean, and minimum signal intensity ratios (SIRs) of extraocular muscle (EOM) bellies were collected to construct a semiquantitative imaging model. Radiomics features from volumes of interest covering EOM bellies were extracted and three machine learning-based (logistic regression [LR]; decision tree [DT]; support vector machine [SVM]) models were built.
Statistical tests: The diagnostic performances of models were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curve analyses, and compared using DeLong test. Two-sided P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
Results: The responsive group showed higher minimum signal intensity ratio (SIR

Abstract Second-generation antipsychotic agents (SGAs) cause serious metabolic side effects, including weight gain, dyslipidemia, and glucose metabolism abnormalities, which occur by unknown mechanisms. Therefore, the search for prospective markers for antipsychotic-induced weight gain (AIWG) has been of major interest. So far, predictive factors predisposing patients to the develop obesity and related metabolic disturbances induced by SGAs have been relatively less studied among large samples of Chinese schizophrenic patients. In this study, 264 Han Chinese inpatients diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder initiated treatment with olanzapine (n=131) or risperidone (n=133) and were followed for 12weeks. Anthropometric measurements and laboratory analyses of thyroid hormone, fasting plasma glucose (FPG), and lipid levels were conducted as part of routine medical care. The results showed baseline thyroxine (T

Abstract Research question: Is deficiency of IL-22 associated with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI)?
Design: Levels of IL-22 and IL-22BP, IL-22-producing T cells, and IL22RA1/IL10R2 expression were measured and compared among 29 patients with POI, 42 with precursor stage of POI (pre-POI) and 46 control women. Correlation of serum IL-22 and IL-22
Results: IL-22 levels in serum significantly differed among control women and patients with pre-POI and POI, with the lowest concentrations in POI group (p = .019). Significant reduction of peripheral CD4

Abstract As a fundamental task in computational chemistry, retrosynthesis prediction aims to identify a set of reactants to synthesize a target molecule. Existing template-free approaches only consider the graph structures of the target molecule, which often cannot generalize well to rare reaction types and large molecules. Here, we propose T-Rex, a text-assisted retrosynthesis prediction approach that exploits pre-trained text language models, such as ChatGPT, to assist the generation of reactants. T-Rex first exploits ChatGPT to generate a description for the target molecule and rank candidate reaction centers based both the description and the molecular graph. It then re-ranks these candidates by querying the descriptions for each reactants and examines which group of reactants can best synthesize the target molecule. We observed that T-Rex substantially outperformed graph-based state-of-the-art approaches on two datasets, indicating the effectiveness of considering text information. We further found that T-Rex outperformed the variant that only use ChatGPT-based description without the re-ranking step, demonstrate how our framework outperformed a straightforward integration of ChatGPT and graph information. Collectively, we show that text generated by pre-trained language models can substantially improve retrosynthesis prediction, opening up new avenues for exploiting ChatGPT to advance computational chemistry. And the codes can be found at https://github.com/lauyikfung/T-Rex.
