Abstract Abstract In the cooperative tracking task of multiple permanent magnetic maglev trains, system uncertainty, external disturbances, and collision avoidance control are issues that must be considered. Therefore, the cooperative tracking and collision avoidance control for train virtual coupling with external disturbances are studied. First, according to the idea of multi‐agent consensus control and active disturbance rejection control, a cooperative tracking controller based on a novel nonlinear extended state observer (NESO) is designed. Second, a collision avoidance control method based on an improved artificial potential field (APF) is designed. Finally, an improved cooperative tracking and collision avoidance control protocol is proposed, and the stability proof is given. Compared with the conventional protocol, the proposed protocol can achieve smooth coupling and high‐precision cruise while ensuring safe collision avoidance. It has the advantages of higher tracking accuracy and stronger anti‐interference performance.

Abstract In wireless power transfer (WPT) systems using magnetic coupling resonance, when there is a registration deviation between the transmitting and receiving coils, there will be significant fluctuations in the coupling coefficient, output power, and transmission efficiency, which will seriously affect the stability of the WPT system. The coupling coefficient is related to the length and width of the rectangular coil, number of turns, mutual geometric position, and space magnetic medium, making it difficult to maintain a constant value when the coil is offset. A single-emitter two-receiver positive-series rectangular coils structure and a method of calculating the structure are proposed. Then an optimization method for mutual inductance was proposed, and the structural parameters that met the design requirements were obtained using the proposed optimization method. The calculation formula for coupling coefficient was verified through simulation and experiments. The results showed that when the offset distance of the receiving coil along the Y-axis (driving direction) and X-axis reaches half of the length of the transmitting coil and 10 cm, the coupling coefficient, transmission efficiency, and output power remain almost unchanged.

Abstract Virtual coupling (VC) technology has received much attention because of its significant advantages in enhancing the railway transport capacity; it achieves efficient train coupling operation through advanced communication technology. However, due to the uncertainty of the operating environment, a stable and effective control system is the key enabler for realization. In this paper, an event-triggered distributed model predictive control (ET-DMPC) method is proposed for the cooperative tracking control of virtual coupling trains (VCTS), considering resource limitations and multiple constraints. Firstly, a distributed model predictive control (DMPC) framework is designed. Based on the established VCTS dynamics model of the dual-leader communication topology, a distributed optimization objective function and safety constraints containing state information of the neighboring train system are constructed. Secondly, due to the limitations of communication and computational resources, the event triggering (ET) mechanism is further introduced, and an ET-DMPC method suitable for VCTS is proposed. The trigger condition of each unit train is designed on the premise of guaranteeing system stability, under which the system can guarantee the input-state stability (ISS), and the recursive feasibility of the system is proven via theoretical analysis. Finally, the VCTS composed of four CRH380A unit trains is used as the control object for simulation experiments, and through two sets of experimental simulation analysis, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

Abstract The improvement of food security and nutrition has attracted wide attention, and microalgae as the most promising food source are being further explored. This paper comprehensively introduces basic and functional nutrients rich in microalgae by elaborated tables incorporating a wide variety of studies and summarizes factors influencing their accumulation effects. Subsequently, multiple comparisons of nutrients were conducted, indicating that microalgae have a high protein content. Moreover, controllable production costs and environmental friendliness prompt microalgae into the list that contains more promising and reliable future food. However, microalgae and -based foods approved and sold are limited strictly, showing that safety is a key factor affecting dietary consideration. Notably, sensory profiles and ingredient clarity play an important role in improving the acceptance of microalgae-based foods. Finally, based on the bottleneck in the microalgae food industry, suggestions for its future development were discussed.

Abstract Aims: This study aimed to investigate the probiotic effects of Acetobacter pasteurianus BP2201, isolated from brewing mass, for the treatment of alcohol-induced learning and memory ability impairments in a Caenorhabditis elegans model.
Methods and results: Acetobacter pasteurianus BP2201 was examined for probiotic properties, including acid and bile salt resistance, ethanol degradation, antioxidant efficacy, hemolytic activity, and susceptibility to antibiotics. The strain displayed robust acid and bile salt tolerance, efficient ethanol degradation, potent antioxidant activity, and susceptibility to specific antibiotics. Additionally, in the C. elegans model, administering A. pasteurianus BP2201 significantly improved alcohol-induced learning and memory impairments.
Conclusions: Acetobacter pasteurianus BP2201 proves to be a promising candidate strain for the treatment of learning and memory impairments induced by alcohol intake.
