Abstract Ride-hailing demand prediction is essential in fundamental research areas such as optimizing vehicle scheduling, improving service quality, and reducing urban traffic pressure. Therefore, achieving accurate and timely demand prediction is crucial. To solve the problems of inaccurate prediction results and difficulty in capturing the influence of external spatiotemporal factors in demand prediction of previous methods, this paper proposes a demand prediction model named as the spatiotemporal information enhance graph convolution network. Through correlation analysis, the model extracts the primary correlation information between external spatiotemporal factors and demand and encodes them to form feature units of the area. We utilize gated recurrent units and graph convolutional networks to capture the spatiotemporal dependencies between demand and external factors, respectively, thereby enhancing the model's perceptiveness to external spatiotemporal factors. To verify the model's validity, we conducted comparative and portability experiments on a relevant dataset of Chengdu City. The experimental results show that the model's prediction is better than the baseline model when incorporating external factors, and the errors are very close under different experimental areas. This result highlights the importance of external spatiotemporal factors for model performance enhancement. Also, it demonstrates the robustness of the model in different environments, providing excellent performance and broad application potential for ride-hailing prediction studies.

Abstract Second-harmonic generation (SHG) has rapidly advanced with the miniaturization of on-chip devices and has found many applications, including optical frequency conversion, nonlinear imaging, and quantum technology. However, owing to the obvious phase-matching constraints involved in nonlinear optical interactions in bulk crystals and the decrease in the length and strength of nonlinear interactions in nanophotonic and surface/interface systems, improving the SHG efficiency and manipulating its optical properties at the nanoscale are challenging tasks. Herein, a monocrystalline silver microplate and nanocube-coupled nanocavity with double-resonance plasmonic modes and an ultrasmall gap were constructed, resulting in efficiently enhanced SHG. In particular, the SHG from the silver microplate (111) is polarization-dependent, and the anisotropy of the SHG in the plasmonic nanocavity can be further controlled via the superposition of symmetries at the interface and plasmonic waveguide-cavity modes. The interfacial SHG provides technology for developing lattice surface atomic arrangement and nanostructure rapid characterization, nonlinear light sources, and on-chip nonlinear nanophotonic devices.

Abstract A protective device was designed that can be worn on the elderly, which consists of protective airbag, control box and protective mechanism. The combined acceleration, combined angular velocity and human posture angle are selected as the parameters to determine the fall, and the threshold algorithm and SVM algorithm are used to detect the fall. The protective mechanism is an inflatable device based on CO

Abstract In globalization’s era, the sustainability of a region is inseparable from the in-depth and close economic and trade cooperation of intra-regional countries to achieve complementary advantages, intra-regional and extra-regional positive economic cycles, and stable and balanced benefits distribution. For Asia-Pacific countries, the lack of deep cooperation in the past has affected their sustainability, but this can be made up for by the RCEP agreement aimed at achieving intra-regional trade liberalization. We adopt the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) simulation analysis method to quantitatively analyze the impact of changes in macroeconomic and international trade indicators of several intra-regional countries after implementing the RCEP tariff reduction and exemption on the RCEP. Simulation results and comparative analysis based on international relations prove that despite the interference of trade benefits conflicts and international political factors, the RCEP can still exist in long term, and effectively promote regional economic integration and sustainability in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also a development opportunity for intra-regional countries and can also be used in the context of globalization providing references for integration and sustainability in other regions.

Abstract Light Field (LF) depth estimation is an important research direction in the area of computer vision and computational photography, which aims to infer the depth information of different objects in three-dimensional scenes by capturing LF data. Given this new era of significance, this article introduces a survey of the key concepts, methods, novel applications, and future trends in this area. We summarize the LF depth estimation methods, which are usually based on the interaction of radiance from rays in all directions of the LF data, such as epipolar-plane, multi-view geometry, focal stack, and deep learning. We analyze the many challenges facing each of these approaches, including complex algorithms, large amounts of computation, and speed requirements. In addition, this survey summarizes most of the currently available methods, conducts some comparative experiments, discusses the results, and investigates the novel directions in LF depth estimation.
