    Abstract Polymerization-induced microphase separation (PIMS) is a versatile technique for producing nanostructured materials. In previous PIMS studies, the predominant approach involved employing homopolymers as macromolecular chain transfer agents (macroCTAs) to mediate the formation of nanostructured materials. In this article, the use of AB diblock copolymers as macroCTAs to design PIMS systems for 3D printing of nanostructured materials is investigated. Specifically, the influence of diblock copolymer composition and block sequence on the resulting nanostructures, and their subsequent impact on bulk properties is systematically investigated. Through careful manipulation of the A/B block ratios, the morphology and size of the nanodomains are successfully controlled. Remarkably, the sequence of A and B blocks significantly affects the microphase separation process, resulting in distinct morphologies.     Abstract Objective: It is unclear if alterations in nociceptive signaling contribute to poor physical functioning in persons with knee osteoarthritis (OA). We aimed to characterize the relation of pain sensitization to physical functioning in persons with or at risk for knee OA, and determine if knee pain severity mediates these relationships.
    Materials and methods: We used cross-sectional data from the Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study, a cohort study of persons with or at risk for knee OA. Pressure pain thresholds (PPTs) and temporal summation (TS) were assessed with quantitative sensory testing. Self-reported function was quantified with the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index function subscale (WOMAC-F). Walking speed was determined during a 20-m walk. Knee extension strength was assessed with dynamometry. Relations of PPTs and TS to functional outcomes were examined with linear regression. The mediating role of knee pain severity was assessed with mediation analyses.
    Results: Among 1560 participants (60.5% female, mean age (SD) 67 (8), body mass index (BMI) 30.2 (5.5) kg/m
    Conclusions: Heightened pain sensitivity appears to be meaningfully associated with weaker knee extension in individuals with or at risk for knee OA. Relations to self-reported physical function and walking speed do not seem clinically meaningful. Knee pain severity differentially mediated these relationships.

    Abstract Background: High levels of stress have been found within health care staff, particularly in the nursing population, which is somewhat attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic. The development of self-compassion, a protective psychological construct, may promote well-being in the health care staff population. As part of a service development project, the authors delivered and evaluated a brief online compassion-focused intervention with nurses working within Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
    Aims: Aims were to explore feasibility within the ICU nursing population and consider potential benefits to psychological well-being.
    Methods: ICU nurses registered for an online, 4 week, compassion-focused intervention as part of a service development project. Measures of compassion, burnout, trauma, and the emotional climate of their work environment were analysed in two groups; those who completed the intervention and those who did not. Baseline and post-intervention measures were analysed to infer the potential benefits of the intervention.
    Results: Compared with their baseline scores, those who completed the intervention showed improvements on measures of compassion, soothing in emotional climate, and reductions in burnout, trauma and threat in emotional climate. At baseline, those who did not complete the intervention scored lower on measures of compassion and soothing within their emotional climate, as well as higher levels of trauma and threat within the emotional climate, compared with those who engaged with the intervention.
    Conclusions: Brief online compassion-focused interventions may be a useful platform to promote well-being in ICU nurses, but possibly only for those who have a pre-established level of self-compassion.
    Relevance to clinical practice: This study demonstrates the value of offering online interventions to improve the mental health of nursing staff. The findings suggest that nurses may benefit from being offered online interventions as welll as traditional psychological interventions. This may shape further service provision by offering nurses who require support a wider range of treatment options.

    Abstract Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a complex condition common among individuals treated in behavioral healthcare, but TBI screening has not been adopted in these settings which can affect optimal clinical decision-making. Integrating evidence-based practices that address complex health comorbidities into behavioral healthcare settings remains understudied in implementation science, limited by few studies using theory-driven hypotheses to disentangle relationships between proximal and medial indicators on distal implementation outcomes. Grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior, we examined providers' attitudes, perceived behavioral control (PBC), subjective norms, and intentions to adopt The Ohio State University TBI Identification Method (OSU TBI-ID) in behavioral healthcare settings.
    Methods: We used an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. In Phase I, 215 providers from 25 organizations in the USA completed training introducing the OSU TBI-ID, followed by a survey assessing attitudes, PBC, norms, and intentions to screen for TBI. After 1 month, providers completed another survey assessing the number of TBI screens conducted. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with logistic regressions. In Phase II, 20 providers were purposively selected for semi-structured interviews to expand on SEM results. Qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis, integrated with quantitative results, and combined into joint displays.
    Results: Only 25% (55/215) of providers adopted TBI screening, which was driven by motivations to trial the intervention. Providers who reported more favorable attitudes (OR: 0.67, p < .001) and greater subjective norms (OR: 0.12, p < .001) toward TBI screening demonstrated increased odds of intention to screen, which resulted in greater TBI screening adoption (OR: 0.30; p < .01). PBC did not affect intentions or adoption. Providers explained that although TBI screening can improve diagnostic and clinical decision-making, they discussed that additional training, leadership engagement, and state-level mandates are needed to increase the widespread, systematic uptake of TBI screening.
    Conclusions: This study advances implementation science by using theory-driven hypothesis testing to disentangle proximal and medial indicators at the provider level on TBI screening adoption. Our mixed-methods approach added in-depth contextualization and illuminated additional multilevel determinants affecting intervention adoption, which guides a more precise selection of implementation strategies.

    Abstract Background: Higher impact loading during walking is implicated in the pathogenesis of knee osteoarthritis. Accelerometry enables the measurement of peak tibial acceleration outside the laboratory. We characterized the relations of peak tibial acceleration to knee pain and impact loading during walking in adults with knee osteoarthritis.
    Methods: Adults with knee osteoarthritis reported knee pain then walked at a self-selected speed on an instrumented treadmill for 3 min with an ankle-worn inertial measurement unit. Ground reaction forces and tibial acceleration data were sampled for 1 min. Vertical impact peaks, and average and peak instantaneous load rates were determined and averaged across 10 steps. Peak tibial acceleration was extracted for all steps and averaged. Pearson's correlations and multiple linear regression analyses assessed the relation of peak tibial acceleration to pain and impact loading metrics, independently and after controlling for gait speed and pain.
    Findings: Higher peak tibial acceleration was associated with worse knee pain (r = 0.39; p = 0.01), and higher vertical average (r = 0.40; p = 0.01) and instantaneous (r = 0.46; p = 0.004) load rates.     Interpretations: Peak tibial acceleration during walking is associated with knee pain and vertical load rates in those with knee osteoarthritis. Clinicians can easily access measures of peak tibial acceleration with wearable sensors equipped with accelerometers. Future work should determine the feasibility of improving patient outcomes by using peak tibial acceleration to inform clinical management.

    Abstract Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing measures were enforced and the national lockdown underlined our reliance on virtual means as a way to communicate. This new way of interacting highlighted that people with an intellectual disability were a large proportion of a digitally excluded population.
    Methods: A service evaluation, using a mixed method design in the form of four self-reported outcome measures and qualitative feedback.
    Findings: Clinical services need to continue when face to face sessions are not possible. Remote groups can be an alternative option not only when self-isolating due to pandemics but when living in remote locations, having physical health problems or excessive expenses and travel costs.
    Conclusions: Online dramatherapy groups can be a beneficial alternative when face to face groups are not possible or challenging to attend due to access difficulties. Online groups can offer opportunities to meet with peers, build relationships, improve confidence and learn new skills in technology.
