Abstract In this article, we study the multicluster games over weight-balanced digraphs, where the cost functions of all players are nonsmooth. Besides, in the problem, not only are the decisions of all players constrained by heterogeneous local constraints but also the decisions of players in the same cluster are constrained by coupling constraints. Due to the nonsmooth cost functions, the coupling constraints, the general local convex constraints, and the weight-balanced digraphs, existing Nash equilibrium seeking algorithms cannot solve our problem. In order to seek the Nash equilibrium of the game, we design a distributed algorithm based on subgradient descent, differential inclusions, and projection operations. In the algorithm, a distributed learning strategy is embedded for the players to estimate the decisions of other players. Moreover, we analyze the asymptotical convergence of the algorithm via set-valued LaSalle invariance principle. Finally, a numerical simulation about electricity market games is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our result.

Abstract Endocytosis constitutes a cellular process in which cells selectively encapsulate surface substances into endocytic vesicles, also known as endosomes, thereby modulating their interaction with the environment. Platelets, as pivotal hematologic elements, play a crucial role not only in regulating coagulation and thrombus formation but also in facilitating tumor invasion and metastasis. Functioning as critical components in the circulatory system, platelets can internalize various endosomal compartments, such as surface receptors, extracellular proteins, small molecules, and pathogens, from the extracellular environment through diverse endocytic pathways, including pinocytosis, phagocytosis, and receptor-mediated endocytosis. We summarize recent advancements in platelet endocytosis, encompassing the catalog of cargoes, regulatory mechanisms, and internal trafficking routes. Furthermore, we describe the influence of endocytosis on platelet regulatory functions and related physiological and pathological processes, aiming to offer foundational insights for future research into platelet endocytosis.

Abstract Exons crucial for coding are often hidden within introns, and the two tend to vary greatly in length, which results in deep learning-based protein coding region prediction methods often performing poorly when applied to more structurally complex biological genomes. DNA shape information also plays a role in revealing the underlying logic of gene expression, yet current methods ignore the influence of DNA shape features when distinguishing coding and non-coding regions. We propose a method to predict protein-coding regions using the CNNS-BRNN model, which incorporates DNA shape features and improves the model's ability to distinguish between intronic and exonic features. We use a fusion coding technique that combines DNA shape features and traditional sequence features. Experiments show that this method outperforms the baseline method in metrics such as AUC and F1 by 2.3% and 5.3%, respectively, and the fusion coding method that introduces DNA shape features has a significant improvement in model performance.

Abstract With the advancement of radiotherapy equipment, stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) has been increasingly used. Among the many radiotherapy devices, Halcyon shows promising applications. This article reviews the dosimetric performance such as plan quality, plan complexity, and gamma passing rates of SRT plans with Halcyon to determine the effectiveness and safety of Halcyon SRT plans. This article retrieved the last 5 years of PubMed studies on the effectiveness and safety of the Halcyon SRT plans. Two authors independently reviewed the titles and abstracts to decide whether to include the studies. A search was conducted to identify publications relevant to evaluating the dosimetric performance of SRT plans on Halcyon using the key strings Halcyon, stereotactic radiosurgery, SRT, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy. A total of 18 eligible publications were retrieved. Compared to SRT plans on the TrueBeam, the Halcyon has advantages in terms of plan quality, plan complexity, and gamma passing rates. The high treatment speed of SRT plans on the Halcyon is impressive, while the results of its plan evaluation are also encouraging. As a result, Halcyon offers a new option for busy radiotherapy units while significantly improving patient comfort in treatment. For more accurate results, additional relevant publications will need to be followed up in subsequent studies.

Abstract Studying the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of environmental regulations on high-quality regional economic development is of enormous practical value in the context of sustainable economic, social, and environmental development. Only a few studies, however, examined the regional heterogeneity of environmental regulation affecting economic development from the standpoint of upgrading the industrial structure. This research investigated the spatial distribution traits of high-quality regional development based on the construction of a comprehensive assessment index system for high-quality economic development. The economic geography-nested spatial Durbin model is then used to perform an empirical test. The findings demonstrate that (1) high-quality economic development has visible spatial heterogeneity, with strong local spatial agglomeration between regions; (2) environmental regulation and the modernization of the industrial structure are significant variables influencing high-quality economic development, but their development is not balanced; and (3) environmental policies promote high-quality regional development through a distinct channel. Formal environmental regulation promotes economic development through rationalizing industrial structure, while informal environmental regulation does so through upgrading the industrial structure. Further, both kinds of environmental regulation have positive spatial spillover effects on adjacent areas. Therefore, the regional heterogeneity of environmental regulation and industrial structure is of great significance in promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of regional economies.
