Abstract Objective To analyze the incidence and risk factors of de novo malignant tumors in renal transplant recipients. Methods Clinical data of 1 549 renal transplant recipients were retrospectively analyzed, including the basic status, pathological type and incidence rate of patients with de novo malignant tumors after renal transplantation. The survival situation of these patiensts was assessed. And the risk factors of de novo malignant tumors after renal transplantation were identified. Results The incidence rate of de novo malignant tumors in renal transplant recipients was 3.03%(47/1 549). The 47 recipients were (48±12) years old when undergoing renal transplantation, and they were (55±12) years old when diagnosed malignant tumors. The time interval between transplantation and diagnosis was 66 (36, 100) months. Among the de novo malignant tumors, colorectal cancer was the most common, with a cumulative incidence rate (CIR) of 0.58%. The survival time of 47 recipients with de novo malignant tumors after renal transplantation was 59 (2, 135) months, and the 5-year survival rate was 50%. The recipients with the age > 45 years old when undergoing renal transplantation was a risk factor for de novo malignant tumors after renal transplantation ( P < 0.05). Conclusions The incidence rate of de novo malignant tumors is relatively high in renal transplant recipients. The recipients with the age > 45 years old when undergoing renal transplantation is a risk factor for de novo malignant tumors.

Abstract Objective: To compare the biomechanical stability of three cross-bridge headless compression screws and locking plates in the fixation of Mason type Ⅲ radial head fractures by finite element method.
Methods: Using reverse modeling technology, the radial CT data and internal fixation data of a healthy 25-year-old male were imported into the relevant software. Three-dimensional finite element model of 3 cross-bridge headless compression screws and locking plates for MasonⅢ radial head fractures were established, and the radial head was loaded with 100 N axial loading. The maximum displacement, maximum Von Mises stress and stress distribution of the two groups were compared.
Results: The maximum displacements of the three cross-bridge screws group and locking plate group were 0.069 mm and 0.087 mm respectively, and the Von Mises stress peaks were 18.59 MPa and 31.85 MPa respectively. The stress distribution of the three screws group was more uniform.
Conclusion: Both internal fixation methods can provide good fixation effect. CoMPared with the locking plate fixation method, the 3 cross-bridge headless compression screws fixation is more stable and the stress distribution is more uniform.

Abstract User opinion affects the performance of network reconstruction greatly since it plays a crucial role in the network structure. In this paper, we present a novel model for reconstructing the social network with community structure by taking into account the Hegselmann-Krause bounded confidence model of opinion dynamic and compressive sensing method of network reconstruction. Three types of user opinion, including the random opinion, the polarity opinion, and the overlap opinion, are constructed. First, in Zachary's karate club network, the reconstruction accuracies are compared among three types of opinions. Second, the synthetic networks, generated by the Stochastic Block Model, are further examined. The experimental results show that the user opinions play a more important role than the community structure for the network reconstruction. Moreover, the polarity of opinions can increase the accuracy of inter-community and the overlap of opinions can improve the reconstruction accuracy of intra-community. This work helps reveal the mechanism between information propagation and social relation prediction.

Abstract The controllable synthesis of high-quality and large-area graphene by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) remains a challenge nowadays. The massive grain boundaries in graphene grown on polycrystalline Cu by CVD significantly reduce its carrier mobility, limiting its application in high-performance electronic devices. Here, we confirm that the synergetic pretreatment of Cu with electropolishing and surface oxidation is a more efficient way to further suppress the graphene nucleation density (GND) and to accelerate the growth rate of the graphene domain by CVD. With increasing the growth time, we found that the increasing amount of GND and growth rate of the graphene domain were both decreasing during the whole CVD process when the Cu surface was not oxidized. By contrast, they kept growing over time when the Cu surface was pre-oxidized, which suggested that the change trends of the effects on the GND and growth rate between the Cu surface morphology and oxygen were opposite in the CVD process. In addition, not only the domain shape, but the number of graphene domain layers were impacted as well, and a large number of irregular ellipse graphene wafers with dendritic multilayer emerged when the Cu surface was oxidized.

Abstract: ... excessive use of synthetic chemicals has detrimental effects on the environment and human health ...

Abstract Plants are constantly exposed to various phytopathogens such as fungi, Oomycetes, nematodes, bacteria, and viruses. These pathogens can significantly reduce the productivity of important crops worldwide, with annual crop yield losses ranging from 20% to 40% caused by various pathogenic diseases. While the use of chemical pesticides has been effective at controlling multiple diseases in major crops, excessive use of synthetic chemicals has detrimental effects on the environment and human health, which discourages pesticide application in the agriculture sector. As a result, researchers worldwide have shifted their focus towards alternative eco-friendly strategies to prevent plant diseases. Biocontrol of phytopathogens is a less toxic and safer method that reduces the severity of various crop diseases. A variety of biological control agents (BCAs) are available for use, but further research is needed to identify potential microbes and their natural products with a broad-spectrum antagonistic activity to control crop diseases. This review aims to highlight the importance of biocontrol strategies for managing crop diseases. Furthermore, the role of beneficial microbes in controlling plant diseases and the current status of their biocontrol mechanisms will be summarized. The review will also cover the challenges and the need for the future development of biocontrol methods to ensure efficient crop disease management for sustainable agriculture.
