Abstract The article analyzes the influence of such macrostructural factors as final demand and a group of structural and technological factors on the dynamics of employment of the population of the Russian Federation on the basis of the input-output balance. The latter includes changes in labor productivity and production technologies, which is reflected in changes in the elements of the matrix of direct cost coefficients. Estimates of the contribution of these factors to the dynamics of employment during periods of transformational recession (1991-1998), subsequent recovery growth (1999-2014) and stagnation (2015-2017) are calculated.

Abstract The article, which is a continuation of the study published in the previous issue of the journal, describes a methodology for assessing the total cost of labor in the economy in the context of certain groups of the employed population. In particular, the analysis of estimates of direct and indirect labor costs for three levels of qualifications of workers is carried out. Based on estimates of indirect labor costs, it is shown that the number of jobs produced by one job for workers of low, medium and high skill levels is different both within the same industry and in related industries.

Abstract The article examines the relationship between the level of demand of income groups of the population and labor income. The influence of demand of various income groups of the population on production parameters has been investigated. As a calculation tool, input-output tables with an expanded total cost coefficient matrix by adding elements of wages and household consumption to it have been used. The conclusion has been substantiated that the growth of income and demand in low-income groups of the population has the greatest effect on production in the real sector, and in high-income groups of the population-on the products of the service sector. Large-scale sectors of the economy have been identified, the activities of which are most influenced by the demand of certain income groups, taking into account the induced effects that form in the economy. It has been noted that the growth in demand in low-income groups of the population is most reflected in the incomes of high-income groups of the population. It has been shown that even relatively modest structural shifts in the volume of wages by decile groups can lead to tangible structural and total changes in output. The analysis of the impact on production volumes of changes in the qualification structure of employment, reflecting smaller differences in the response of sectors of the economy to changes in demand of different qualification groups of workers than income groups, has been carried out.

Abstract This article discusses the use of balance of labour resources and population and labour resources movements balance for the assessment of the current and future state of regional labor markets and migration linkages in the regions of the Russian Arctic. The purpose of this article is to obtain projections of the dynamics of the main indicators of balance of labour resources, structure and dynamics of population and labor resources of the Russian Arctic regions. The study was performed in the methodology of balance of labour resources and population and labour resources movements balance. The model of population and labor resources movement, taking into account the repeated displacement of people is used. With account of the historical period we forecast the main parameters of population movements structure. The results of calculations on the example for the regions of the Asian and European parts of the Russian Arctic is given. The main problems of the Arctic regions labor resources are identifi ed. The resulting estimates of prospective changes in the structure of balance of labour resources, the most signifi cant sources of additional labor resources, changes to the importance of these sources. The article considers the trends of inter-regional movement of population and labor resources. The analysis of the main areas of origin and regions of arrival is made. The main donor regions and the recipient regions for regions of the Russian Arctic are named. The analysis of structural imbalances on the regional labour markets is made. The contribution the Arctic regions in the magnitude of structural unemployment is measured. Its shown, which regions can be conventionally considered labor-surplus and-defi cient. The results of the study can be used in the development of regional employment programmes, the development and implementation of migration policy, the development of the forecast of labour resources balance sheet, and especially of the forecast of labour resources balance sheet for the regions of the Russian ...
