Abstract 'Zifeng’ is a new seedless grape cultivar selected from the crossing of ‘Ruby Seedless’× ‘Black Emerald’ in 2006. It was initially selected in 2008 for its good appearance, good quality and strong adaptability. Through artificial crossing technology, 1 500 seeds were got in 2009. After regional adaptability testing in different sites (including the middle, northwest, and southeast part of Gansu province), it was finally selected. We applied for the registration as a new cultivar and got identification certificate from Crop Variety Approval Committee of Gansu Province in 2012. ‘Zifeng’ is a diploid plant. The young shoot tip is opened, and the color is yellow-green with purple reddish. The woody shoots have a red-brown skin and stripes, its tendrils are interval. Young leaves have an invisible green color and without downy hairs. The shape of mature leaf is cordate, the surface of leaf is flat and smooth with green color. Leaf margin is serrate with both sides convex and the petiole is U-shaped. The fruit cluster has a conical shape, and the weight is 435 g averagely, which length and width is 18 cm, 13 cm respectively, also it grown in trees for a long time with tolerating store and transportation. The berry is red-violent color, long round shape, and the average weight is 4.4 g, and the longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter are 2.1 cm, 1.6 cm respectively. The berries are with crisp pericarp, crisp flesh, middle juice and pleasant sweetness and sourness. The contents of soluble solids, total sugar, total acid, vitamin C is 18.5%, 13.6%, 0.32%, 0.0038% respectively. The time from bud breaking to harvest is about 123 d, its maturity date at late August in Lanzhou area. ‘Zifeng’, having a wide adaptability, can cultivated in the northwest, northern of China. And it has some good characteristics containing early fruit, high yield, stable yield, and strong disease and cold resistance. The second year of planting young trees can bear fruit, and the third year will reach the full fruit stage, also within three years, the yield will be controlled at 17.0-24.8 t/hm2. Vertical trellis systems and V- frame systems are used suitably in open field cultivation, also the vertical independent long-stem training system were as a pruning mode. After comprehensive screening, the planting density was as follows: the space of plantation as 1 m x 3 m. The cultivar is productive, so fertilizer and water management should be strengthened. Meanwhile, nitrogen-phosphorus compound fertilizer was applied before germination and after fruit setting, and potassium fertilizer reasonably is used during color- turning and fruit expansion period. Before bagging, the grape clusters are sprayed with spectroscopic fungicides, and then bagged after the liquid was dried. For pests and diseases prediction, the control of red spiders, wax cicadas, scale insects, downy mildew, powdery mildew and gray mildew should be focused by taking steps with combining with the physical and chemical control technology in orchard. Abstract A 2D numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the effect of an extended rigid trailing edge fringe with a flapping motion on the S833 airfoil and its wake flow field, as an analogy of an owl’s wing. This study aims to characterize the influence of the extended flapping fringe on the aerodynamic performance and the wake flow characteristics downstream of the airfoil. The length ( L e ) and flapping frequencies ( f e ) of the fringe are the key parameters that dominate the impact on the airfoil and the flow field, given that the oscillation angular amplitude is fixed at 5°. The simulation results demonstrated that the airfoil with an extended fringe of 10% of the chord at a flapping frequency of f e = 110 Hz showed a substantial effect on the pressure distribution on the airfoil and the flow characteristics downstream of the airfoil. An irregular vortex street was predicted downstream, thus causing attenuations of the vorticities, and shorter streamwise gaps between each pair of vortices. The extended flapping fringe at a lower frequency than the natural shedding vortex frequency can effectively break the large vortex structure up into smaller scales, thus leading to an accelerated attenuation of vorticities in the wake.

Abstract The coexistence of chronic pain and depression in clinical practice places a substantial social burden and profoundly impacts in patients. Although a clear correlation exists, the underlying mechanism of comorbidity between chronic pain and depression remains elusive. Research conducted in recent decades has uncovered that soluble epoxide hydrolase, a pivotal enzyme in the metabolism of polyunsaturated fatty acids, plays a crucial role in inflammation. Interestingly, this enzyme is intricately linked to the development of both pain and depression. With this understanding, this review aims to summarize the roles of soluble epoxide hydrolase in pain, depression, and their comorbidity. Simultaneously, we will also explore the underlying mechanisms, providing guidance for future research and drug development.

Abstract Hemodynamic mechanisms of the formation and growth of intracranial aneurysms (IA) in monozygotic twins (MTs) are still under-reported. To partially fill such knowledge gap, this study employed an experimentally validated numerical model to compare hemodynamics in 3 anatomical and 5 ablation study neurovascular models from a rare pair of MTs in terms of 7 critical hemodynamic parameters. Numerical results showed significant differences in hemodynamics between the MTs, although they share the same genes, indicating that genetic mutation and environmental factors might affect neurovascular morphologies and cause hemodynamic changes. After virtual removals of IAs in the ablation study, the locations where the aneurysmal sac/bleb generated in bifurcated anterior cerebral arteries (ACAs) register a locally high instantaneous wall shear stress (IWSS) of 52.9 and 70.1 Pa at the systolic peak in twin A and twin B, respectively. Same scenario can be observed in the distribution of instantaneous wall shear stress gradient (IWSSG), with 571.1 Pa/mm for twin A and 301.3 Pa/mm for twin B due to aggressive blood impingements, leading to IA generation. The fenestrated complex approaching ACA bifurcations in twin A may assist IA growth and rupture, via. Causing abnormal IWSS of 116.3 Pa, IWSSG of 832.5 Pa/mm, and oscillatory shear index (OSI) of 0.49. The bleb in twin B has high risks of progression and possible rupture as the IA suffers relatively low IWSS and high OSI. Additionally, IA generation can change blood flow rates in each connected artery, then affecting blood supplies to associated tissues and organs.
