Abstract Background: The objective of this study was to explore the prognostic factors for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients with spinal metastasis who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and survival status of 49 patients with spinal metastases arising from RCC. All patients with spinal metastases underwent surgical treatment. We analyzed a range of factors that may affect the prognosis of patients with RCC. Using Kaplan-Meier method to perform univariate analysis of the factors that might affect spine metastasis free survival (SMFS)and survival after spinal metastasis (OS) respectively. Establish Cox proportional hazards model to extract independent prognostic factors for SMFS and OS.
Results: The mean time of SMFS was 27 months (median 8, range 0-180 months). The mean time of OS was 12.04 months (median 9, range 2-36 months). RCC with visceral metastasis (p = 0.001,HR 11.245,95%CI 2.824-44.776) and AJCC RCC Stage (p = 0.040,HR 2.809,95%CI 1.046-7.543) can significantly affect SMFS. Furthermore, WHO/ISUP Grade (p < 0.001, HR 2.787,95%CI 1.595-4.870), ECOG Score (p = 0.019, HR 0.305,95%CI 0.113-0.825) and multiple spinal metastases (p < 0.001, HR 0.077,95%CI 0.019-0.319) have significant effects on OS.
Conclusions: RCC with visceral metastasis and AJCC RCC Stage were independent prognostic factors for SMFS. WHO/ISUP Grade, ECOG Scores and multiple spinal metastases were independent prognostic factors for OS.

Abstract Locally resonant phononic crystal (LRPC) exhibit elastic wave band gap characteristics within a specific low-frequency range, but their band gap width is relatively narrow, which has certain limitations in practical engineering applications. In order to open a lower frequency band gap and broaden the band gap range, this paper proposes a new composite multiple locally resonant phononic crystal (CMLRPC). Firstly, the band structure of the CMLRPC is calculated by using the finite element method, and then the formation mechanism of the band gap of the CMLRPC is studied by analyzing its vibration mode, and the band gap width is expanded by adjusting the size of the single primitive cell in the supercell model of the CMLRPC. Secondly, an equivalent mass-spring system model for CMLRPC is established to calculate the starting frequency and cut-off frequency of the band gap, and the calculated results are in good agreement with the finite element calculation. Finally, the frequency response function of the CMLRPC is calculated and its attenuation characteristics are analyzed. Within the band gap frequency range, the attenuation values of the CMLRPC are mostly above 20 dB, indicating a good attenuation effect. Compared with traditional LRPC, this new CMLRPC opens multiple band gaps in the frequency range of 200 Hz, with a wider band gap width and better attenuation effect. In addition, considering both the contact between single primitive cell and the adjustment of their spacing in the supercell model of the CMLRPC, lower and wider band gap can be obtained. The research results of this paper provide a new design idea and method for obtaining low-frequency band gap in LRPC, and can provide reference for the design of vibration reduction and isolation structures in the field of low-frequency vibration control.

Abstract Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are a class of porous crystalline polymeric materials constructed by linking organic small molecules through covalent bonds. COFs have the advantages of strong covalent bond network, adjustable pore structure, large specific surface area and excellent thermal stability, and have broad application prospects in various fields. Based on these advantages, rational COFs design strategies such as the introduction of active sites, construction of conjugated structures, and carbon material composite, etc. can effectively improve the conductivity and stability of the electrode materials in the field of batteries. This paper introduces the latest research results of high-performance COFs electrode materials in alkali metal-ion batteries (LIBs, SIBs, PIBs and LSBs) and other advanced batteries. The current challenges and future design directions of COFs-based electrode are discussed. It provides useful insights for the design of novel COFs structures and the development of high-performance alkali metal-ion batteries.

Abstract To expound the basic strategies of translational medicine research based on clinical effect and scientific problems of acupuncture and moxibustion, and discuss the specific research ideas and methods of acupuncture translational medicine by taking acupuncture prevention and treatment of asthma as an example. The overall strategy of acupuncture translational medicine is to determine the effect of acupuncture first, then clarify the mechanism of acupuncture and transform the results into clinical practice. On the one hand, it is necessary to improve the objectivity and recognition of acupoints in experimental animals, and to realize the limitations and possible bias of animal experimental results; on the other hand, we should adhere to help and promote multidisciplinary research on the role of acupuncture.
