    Abstract While ecological challenges are more and more systematically placed at the heart of the news, with the multiplication of activist groups carrying out sometimes violent actions of protest, it is usual to consider that environmental degradation is relatively recent. It is true that the first alarmist reports date from the early 1970s. However, numerous historical studies underline that ecological challenges were extremely significant as early as the Middle Ages in Europe, which forced political authorities to intervene to successfully limit environmental degradation in cities. A review of history sheds light on current issues, highlighting the importance of political interventionism to meet ecological challenges.

    Abstract With the launching of its OBOR (One Belt, One Road) initiative since 2013, China has chosen to invest in massive logistical infrastructures with the aim of asserting its economic power and becoming the world’s leading power by 2049. Already at the heart of many global value chains, as the coronavirus crisis of 2020 has shown, China is going to give itself the means to sell its products on a large scale. The research note offers a socio-political reading of the logistical stakes of the OBOR initiative, indicating that economic balances are likely to be profoundly disrupted. The case of the Maghreb countries, which have long been in Europe’s area of influence, is particularly evoked to illustrate how the logistics strategy can be analyzed as a weapon for territorial conquest.

    Abstract `np pagenum="161"/bLa crise du coronavirus laisse exsangue l’économie mondiale, avec des baisses d’activité jamais connues depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale dans de nombreuses industries. Si cette réalité est largement commentée, il n’en n’est pas de même pour des secteurs de l’économie collaborative. Ainsi, confrontés aux rigoureuses mesures sanitaires prises lors du déconfinement, les gig workers des plateformes de livraison risquent de devenir les victimes invisibles du « monde d’après », dans une indifférence quasi-générale. La note de recherche d’aborder la question en proposant une première réflexion sur le sujet.

    The coronavirus crisis has a dramatic impact on the global economy, with declines in activity in many industries not seen since the WW II. While this reality is widely commented on, the same cannot be said for sectors of the collaborative economy. For example, faced with the rigorous health measures taken during the lockdown exit, gig workers in delivery platforms risk becoming invisible victims of the "next world", with almost general indifference. The research note addresses this issue by proposing an initial reflection on the subject.

    Confronté depuis plusieurs décennies à un « managérialisme » ayant fortement réduit ses capacités de réaction, le système hospitalier français a su gérer en 2020 une crise sanitaire d'une ampleur sans précédent. Toutefois, un examen des décisions prises par les autorités politiques, notamment face à la pénurie de lits d'hospitalisation en réanimation, indique que ce sont des options de nature purement logistique qui ont prévalu, confortant ainsi la vision managériale aujourd'hui dominante dans le fonctionnement des systèmes de santé.
