Abstract Objective: To describe feelings, challenges and strategies related to the continuity of breastfeeding after returning to work in the perception of lactating nurses.
Method: Descriptive, exploratory, qualitative study, with snowball sampling. Data collection occurred virtually between August and September 2020 in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires software and a thematic analysis were used.
Results: 42 breastfeeding nurses participated and cited fear, missing the child, anguish, and pleasure in returning to work. Challenges such as lack of infrastructure for pumping the breast in health services, unfavorable scales, and multiple jobs were reported. Support networks, listening spaces, and appropriate times and places for breast milk pumping were mentioned as strategies.
Conclusion: Different feelings and challenges for the continuity of breastfeeding upon returning to work were identified; some strategies found were common to other working women while others related to the specific nursing work context.

Title translation Fatores associados à prática do uso de máscaras pela população paraibana durante a pandemia da COVID-19.
Abstract Objective: To evaluate the practice of using masks by the population of the Brazilian state of Paraíba during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: Cross-sectional, descriptive-analytical study conducted with adults living in the state of Paraíba through an online instrument from April to May 2020, through the Face Mask Use Scale of Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas da Paraíba.
Results: The participants amounted to 1,307 (100.0%) individuals, who were predominantly female (78.0%), aged 35 to 45 (32.3%), married (53.3%) and post-graduates (46.9%). The mean score for the practice of using masks was 18.7 (SD = 8.0; minimum 6.00; maximum 30). The use of masks for self-protection scored 9.8 (DP = 3.9; minimum 3.0; maximum 15.0), whereas the score for protection of others was 8.9 (SD = 4.5; minimum 3.0; maximum 15.0). In the comparison between the scores of the practice of using masks, there was a significant statistical difference for gender, education, age group, and income (p ≤ 0.01). The practice of using masks was more frequent in health environments, 7.3 (DP = 3.2).
Conclusion: The practice of using masks was predominant among women, people over 35, married, with an income higher than seven minimum wages, and post-graduation. The use of masks for self-protection was higher than for the protection of others and its use in health environments was higher than in the others.

Abstract Objectives: to translate and culturally adapt the Infant Feeding Intentions Scale for pregnant women in Brazil.
Methods: methodological study that included stages of translation, synthesis, face and content validation, back translation and semantic assessment. In the face and content and semantic validation stages, we used the Content Validity Index for individual items and for the overall scale for clarity and representativeness.
Results: nine (100.0%) experts participated in face and content validation, and the average index obtained was 85.0% for representativeness. In the semantic assessment, performed with 31 (100.0%) pregnant women, the tool was considered clear, obtaining an average index of 91.0%.
Conclusions: the Brazilian version of the scale was considered representative and clear. After assessing psychometric properties, the scale is expected to be valid and reliable to assess maternal intention to breastfeed exclusively until the infant's six months of life in different Brazilian settings.

Abstract Objective: To identify scientific evidence on quality of life measurement instruments used in individuals with infections caused by human papillomavirus.
Method: This was an integrative review carried out from April 1995 to March 2017 in the LILACS, SciVerse Scopus, ISI Web of Science, CINAHL, and PubMed databases. The controlled descriptors adopted were: Infecções por Papilomavirus; Qualidade de Vida; Papillomavirus Infections; and Quality of Life.
Results: Of the 416 articles found, 12 were selected. Thirteen different types of instruments to evaluate the quality of life of individuals with human papillomavirus were identified, in that nine were generic and four specific.
Conclusion: Different generic and specific instruments were used to evaluate the quality of life of individuals with human papillomavirus, which means no consensus or preference among the studies was identified. However, a lack of use of specific instruments to evaluate this construct in this population was observed.

Abstract Objective:  To reveal the changes in the quality of life reported by women with Human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced lesions.
Methods:  This is a cross-sectional, descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative approach performed from June to August 2016. Semi-structured face-to-face interviews based on five questions on the concept of quality of life were used. The data were submitted to thematic analysis. All ethical aspects have been contemplated.
Results:  A total of 20 women aged between 25 and 59 years old were interviewed. From the analysis of the data, the following thematic units emerged: physical and emotional changes, especially complaints of pruritus, discharge and pain, worry, fear, shame and sadness; changes in sexual and affective relationships with decreased libido, dyspareunia and interruption of sexual activity; changes in social relationships resulting in absenteeism at work.
Conclusion:  Human papillomavirus infection impairs the quality of life of women as it significantly affects sexual, affective, physical, emotional, and everyday habits. Therefore, HPV infection can lead to exponential changes in the quality of life of women, which can be mitigated by the availability of sources of support such as family, friends and the multi-professional team, helping to improve knowledge and cope with HPV.
