Abstract Background: Partial Nephrectomy has been the go-to approach for the treatment of small sized renal tumours for years now. Like any other surgical procedure, it is associated with post-operative complications. The study was aimed at determining the post-operative complications of open partial nephrectomy concerning tumour location.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was done on 45 patients as per inclusion criteria. The patients were managed as per department protocols and were observed for the development of immediate post-operative complications during hospital stays. RESULTS: Post-operative complications were observed in 4 (8.9%) patients and included haemorrhage (n=1; 2.2%) and urine leak (n=3; 6.7%). There was a statistically significant association between post-operative complications of partial nephrectomy and central tumour location (p=0.008, OR=14.52 and LR=5.70) and increased age (p=0.04, LR=5.40 and OR=8.90).
Discussion: Increased age and tumour location may play a significant role in determining the likelihood of post-operative complications in patients who have undergone surgery for renal tumours.

Abstract The concept of sustainability in the context of human resource management (HRM), or more precisely, green HRM, has significantly transformed in recent years. Human resources are an important and valuable asset of a firm. In this research, green HRM is concentrated on the areas where HRM is held accountable for the company's sustainability initiatives. The research examines the effects of green HRM on organizational performance in China while considering the mediating roles of green innovation (GI), green employee behavior (GEB), and organizational culture. The data was gathered from 316 HR specialists working in various Chinese manufacturing businesses to meet the study's goals. A self-administered questionnaire utilizing the preexisting scale is used to obtain the data (detail is provided in Table 1). The smart PLS 4 structural equation modeling approach is applied for the data analysis. The study results indicate that green HRM practices influence green innovation (GI), green culture (GC), and green employee behavior (GEB). Furthermore, results also suggest that GI, GC, and GEB influence the organization's sustainable performance (SP). The research has several theoretical, methodological, and practical ramifications for many stakeholders, including the Chinese security exchange commissions, firms' senior management, academics, and HR specialists.

    Abstract Rationale: Bartonella
Presenting concerns of the patient: A 33-year-old Caucasian male with a history of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) on highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), alcohol abuse, previous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and recent wisdom tooth extraction (on amoxicillin) was transferred from an outside hospital for further evaluation of severe headache. He was diagnosed with an SAH and right anterior cerebral artery mycotic aneurysm. The serum creatinine at the outside hospital was 292 umol/L (3.3 mg/dL) with a previously normal baseline around 2 years ago. The serum creatinine at our institution was 256 umol/L (3.0 mg/dL). The urinalysis demonstrated +100 protein, +3 blood and 29 red blood cells/high power field. The urine protein creatinine ratio (UPC) was 1.7 g/g. Serologic evaluation was positive for a low C4 10.2 mg/dL, elevated rheumatoid factor 40 IU/mL and an elevated proteinase 3 (PR-3) antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA Ab) 4.0 U/mL. A transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) showed echo densities on both mitral and aortic valve. Blood cultures were negative. Further serologic evaluation was positive for
Diagnoses: A percutaneous kidney biopsy revealed pauci-immune necrotizing glomerulonephritis, with 14/16 glomeruli globally sclerotic, and 2 glomeruli with active segmental necrotizing lesions. There was no evidence of immune-complex deposition on immunofluorescence or electron microscopy. Clinical findings were consistent with
Intervention: Empiric treatment for an active glomerulonephritis with immunosuppressive agents was deferred on admission, given concern for an underlying infectious process and mycotic aneurysms in an HIV-positive patient. He received antibiotic treatment with doxycycline and ceftriaxone with gentamicin for synergy. Despite this, the mitral and aortic valve regurgitation worsened, and he developed congestive heart failure requiring aortic valve replacement and mitral valve repair. The explanted aortic valve was positive for
Outcomes: Immunosuppression was deferred due to timely identification of an atypical presentation of

Abstract In today's complex selling environment, it is challenging for sales leaders to enhance the effectiveness of their sales teams. The aim of this study is to observe the impact of authentic leadership on salespersons' internal and external behaviors under B2B selling context [i.e., transactive memory system (TMS), innovative work behavior, and customer-directed OCB] and their consequences in team selling performance. Respondents of our survey included salespersons and managers working in the sales departments of pharmaceutical companies. By using structural equation modeling, the dyad responses from 348 matched salespeople-managers were analyzed. The findings disclose that authentic leadership behavior has a stronger relationship with the TMS, innovative work behavior, and customer-directed OCB. Our results also indicate that innovative work behavior and customer-directed OCB are potentially mediated between authentic leadership and team selling performance relationship. The theoretical implication of these results for managerial practice is also discussed.

Abstract Rationale: Nondilated obstructive uropathy (NDOU) is a rare cause of acute renal failure reported in less than 5% of cases of obstructive uropathy. It is typically associated with intrapelvic malignancies and diseases causing retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy and retroperitoneal fibrosis. As these conditions may prevent radiographic dilation of the collecting system, the diagnosis of NDOU may be missed by usual diagnostic testing.
Presenting concerns of the patient: We present a case of acute anuric renal failure in a middle-aged woman with metastatic breast cancer associated with abdominal and retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. Acute kidney injury was initially deemed secondary to drug-induced acute tubular necrosis (ATN) from bisphosphonate; however, there remained a high clinical suspicion of NDOU due to the presence of enlarged retroperitoneal lymph nodes on CT abdomen and pelvis with concerns for encasement of bilateral renal pelvic regions and ureters.
Diagnoses: The patient underwent a retrograde pyelogram which demonstrated questionable narrowing bilaterally at the level of the renal pelvices. This led to an even stronger clinical suspicion of NDOU and urology service was consulted for evaluation.
Intervention: Bilateral ureteral stents were placed by urology which led to robust urine output and rapid reversal of renal failure over the next 24 to 48 hours.
Outcomes: Despite 2 weeks of anuria and hemodialysis, this patient's creatinine came back to her baseline. She was able to discontinue hemodialysis and her creatinine stabilized at 88.4 μmol/L (1 mg/dL).
Teaching points: Nondilated obstructive uropathy is rare but important diagnosis that requires a high clinical suspicion in the appropriate clinical scenario. The lack of dilatation is believed to be related to encasement of the collecting system by tumor, fibrosis, or as in our case metastatic retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. As this diagnosis cannot be overlooked, aggressive direct visualization or even intervention with internal or external stenting may be required to both diagnose and treat this condition.

Abstract The primary purpose of the research is to investigate the mediating role of corporate sustainability in the relationship between the impacts of transformational leadership on the performance of firms. This study also aimed to investigate the moderating role of knowledge-sharing on the relationship of transformational leadership with corporate sustainability. Respondents of the study were the top management of large Chinese automobile sectors, such as Shanghai Automotive Business Corporation (Group), China FAW Group Corporation, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., and China North Industries Group Corporation. These are the companies with the biggest market share in the automobile manufacturing industry in China. The data was gathered by using a self-administrative survey questionnaire from 198 individuals operating in different automobile industries in different sectors of China. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) through the Smart PLS 3.3.2 software. The results of this study revealed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the firm. Corporate sustainability has a significant positive mediating role in the association of transformational leadership and firm performance. Findings indicated that knowledge-sharing also has a positive moderating role in the association between transformational leadership and firm performance. The findings of this study contribute to the body of knowledge and show that leadership style has a significant effect on firm performance and that knowledge-sharing culture in firms is essential for better performance of the firm. Furthermore, firms may improve their performance by improving their sustainability and by creating knowledge-sharing culture. The findings are important, particularly in connection with a developed country like China. The findings have important insights for various stakeholders, i.e., government, regulatory bodies, practitioners, academia, industry, and researchers.

Abstract Plant extracts have demonstrated the ability to act as coagulants for milk coagulation at an adequate concentration, wide temperatures and pH ranges. This research is focused on the use of different vegetative extracts such as Citrus aurnatium flower extract (CAFE), bromelain, fig latex, and melon extract as economical and beneficial coagulants in the development of plant-based cheddar-type cheese. The cheddar-type cheese samples were subjected to physicochemical analysis in comparison to controlled cheese samples made from acetic acid and rennet. The fat, moisture, protein, and salt contents remained the same over the storage period, but a slight decline was observed in pH. The Ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) increased with the passage of the ripening period. The FTIR and Raman spectra showed exponential changes and qualitative estimates in the binding and vibrational structure of lipids and protein in plant-based cheeses. The higher FTIR and Raman spectra bands were observed in acid, rennet, bromelain, and CAFE due to their firm and strong texture of cheese while lower spectra were observed in cheese made from melon extract due to weak curdling and textural properties. These plant extracts are economical and easily available alternative sources for cheese production with higher protein and nutritional contents.

Abstract Objective: To evaluate the effect of epidural application of triamcinolone during lumbar discectomy on postoperative pain relief. Study Design: Case control study. Place and Duration of Study: Department of Neurosurgery, Combined Military Hospital Lahore, from Oct 2019 to Feb 2020. Methodology: Thirty patients receiving intraoperative epidural triamcinolone application compared with 30 controls objective assessment by T-scores of the Timed Up and Go test, back and sciatic leg pain by Visual analog scale and for subjective functional impairment by oswestry Disability Index were calculated pre-op, postoperative day 2 and at 4 weeks. Results: The baseline demographics, disease specific features and preoperative impairment scores were similar among both groups. At day post-operative day 2, subjective impairment on oswestry disability index for the steroid group was (30.6 vs 36.2, p<0.01), with significant difference in terms of objective functional impairment score between steroid group (T-score 128.2 vs 129.3, p<0.01). At 4 weeks post operatively, the Objective functional impairment was also found to be significantly less in the steroid group (T-score 100.5 vs 110.3, p<0.01), with less disabled steroid group patients with oswestry disability index (17.0 vs 24, p<0.01). Complication rates in both groups were similar. The duration of hospital stay was shorter among the steroid group (5.0 vs 5.8 days, p=0.06). Conclusion: The application of triamcinolone in lumbar discectomy leads to benefit in both subjective and objective pain parameters in the early postoperative period.

Abstract The CONSTITUTIVE PHOTOMORPHOGENIC (COP) 1LIKE is a regulatory protein and repressor of photomorphogenesis; which control many processes of development in plants. Here, the role of a novel Solanum melongena COP1LIKE (SmCOP1LIKE) gene is reported in tomato. It was obvious that SmCOP1LIKE preferred to express in leaves, flowers, and fruits at various developmental stages but relatively low expressions were recorded in roots and stem. To understand the SmCOP1LIKE function in more detail, an overexpression (OE) vector carrying the SmCOP1LIKE gene was constructed and transformed into tomato plants, which resulted in reduced chlorophyll content and transcripts accumulation of chlorophyll biosynthetic genes (DCL, GLK1, GLK2, Cab7, and RbcS3B) were all suppressed in SmCOP1LIKE-OE lines as compared with the WT plants. Carotenoid content was lowered and the expressions of carotenoid-related genes (PSY1, PDS and ZDS) were significantly downregulated. Moreover, SmCOP1LIKE-OE decreased ethylene production and delayed fruit ripening. The transcript accumulation of ethylene biosynthetic genes (ACO1, ACS2, and ACO3), ethylene inducible genes (E4 and E8), and ethylene-responsive gene (ERF1) which are involved in fruit ripening were downregulated. Furthermore, the earlier flower buds initiation and expression of genes (CO1, SFT, SBP3, SBP13, and SBP15) related to flowering time were upregulated. In addition, SmCOP1LIKE-OE seedlings showed longer hypocotyls due to the lower endogenous ethylene, and were more sensitive to ACC than WT seedlings, suggesting that SmCOP1LIKE may modulate ethylene triple response. In summary, SmCOP1LIKE plays an important role in regulating fruit ripening, reducing flowering time and the production of ethylene in tomato.
