    Abstract: ... sensor Y ...

Abstract Quinolone antibiotics (norfloxacin) pose a serious threat to animal and human health due to their misuse and difficulty in being broken down in surface water and food. Rapid and effective detection of norfloxacin (NOR) is essential for environmental testing and ecosystems. In this study, yttrium was coordinated with mercaptopropionic acid (MPA)-modified CdTe quantum dots (QDs) to obtain a novel fluorescence sensor Y

Abstract Multidrug resistance is reported to be related to the transmembrane transportation of chemotherapeutic drugs by adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC subfamily G member 2 (ABCG2) is a member of the ABC transporter superfamily proteins, which have been implicated as a key contributor to the development of multidrug resistance in cancers. Abstract Recently, selective phosphorus removal from aqueous solution has been a highly desirable strategy to combat eutrophication due to the increasingly stringent phosphorous emission standards. However, conventional adsorbents pose the limitations in phosphate removal suffering from lack of selectivity and stability under complicated condition and poor separation. In this study, novel Y

Abstract Wavelength-tunable orbital angular momentum (OAM) lasers with controllable topological charges have the potential for serving as light sources for large-capacity optical communication by combining conventional wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) with OAM mode-division multiplexing (OAM-MDM). In this study, we demonstrate a wavelength-tunable Tm-bulk laser that can control OAM states in the 2-µm spectral range. The excitation conditions for different Laguerre-Gaussian (

Abstract Itch is a somatosensory sensation to remove potential harmful stimulation with a scratching desire, which could be divided into mechanical and chemical itch according to diverse stimuli, such as wool fiber and insect biting. It has been reported that neuropeptide Y (NPY) neurons, a population of spinal inhibitory interneurons, could gate the transmission of mechanical itch, with no effect on chemical itch. In our study, we verified that chemogenetic activation of NPY neurons could inhibit the mechanical itch as well as the chemical itch, which also attenuated the alloknesis phenomenon in the chronic dry skin model. Afterwards, intrathecal administration of NPY1R agonist, [Leu

Abstract Lanthanide-doped upconversion (UC) materials have been extensively investigated for their unique capability to convert low-energy excitation into high-energy emission. Contrary to previous reports suggesting that efficient UC luminescence (UCL) is exclusively observed in materials with a wide bandgap, we have discovered in this study that Y
