Abstract Purpose: Perioperative and early post-operative outcomes of Primary Posterior sagittal anorectoplasty (P-PSARP) were evaluated.
Method: Retrospective analysis of cases who underwent P-PSARP from 2004 to 2019 was done. Perioperative care, management, complications, voluntary bowel movement, soiling and constipation, graded by Krickenbeck criteria were studied.
Results: One hundred fifty six patients (134 girls) underwent P-PSARP at median age of 5 months (3 months to 14 years) in girls and 5(1-10) days in 21 boys. One male cloaca was operated at 5 months age. Of 20 boys, 5, 8, 4, 3 had rectobulbar urethral fistula, rectoprostatic urethral fistula, bladder neck fistula and male cloaca. Girls had vestibular fistula, rectovaginal fistula, vulval anus, anterior ectopic anus, pouch perineal fistulae and posterior anus with H type fistula in 114, 7, 6, 5, 1 and 1. Complications included wound infection, excoriation, oedema, mucosal prolapse, anal stricture, anal retraction and mortality in 6, 4, 5, 4, 4, 1 and 1, respectively. 35/155(12 neonates) required postoperative dilatations for 5(1-12) months. At follow-up, 96/114(84.2%) had voluntary bowel movements. 46/155 (29.7%) and 9/155 had constipation and soiling. 32:14:0 had grade 1:2:3 constipation, treated with diet (grade 1) and laxatives (grade 2) respectively. 4:3:2 had grade 1:2:3 soiling for initial 3 months, treated with bowel management programme.
Conclusion: P-PSARP is feasible, subject to proper case selection and good perioperative care, once learning curve is achieved.

Abstract The main aim of the present study is to work out the export competitiveness of Indian grapes and policy recommendations for improvement in their export and the destinations as well. To achieve the objectives various tools such as net terms of trade, revealed comparative advantage and Markov chain analysis were applied to export data from 1999–2019 collected from APEDA and FAO. The estimations of net terms of trade and revealed comparative advantage revealed that India has comparative advantage of exporting table grapes to the world. It is evident from the transitional probability matrices developed through Markov chain analysis that Germany is the most loyal buyer for Indian grapes as it retains about 60.28 per cent of its previous years export. The attention should be focused on the market requirement and specifi cations of stable markets for Indian grapes namely; Germany and Bangladesh. The focus should given on lower yield level of Indian grapes compared to world yield estimates.

Abstract Background: The forthcoming problems will be of food, and soil due to environmental alteration, growing populations, pollution, and exhaustion of natural resources among other factors. Hydroponic farming has the capacity to alleviate the intimidation of these con-cerned issues in the agricultural system. Hydroponics is recommended as an alternative way to enhance product yield compared to conventional agriculture.
Objective: The present study aimed to determine the different growth parameters and constituents of soil-grown and hydroponically grown
Methods: In this study, extraction was carried out by maceration method using methanol as a solvent whereas, growth parameters were performed by the leaves number, plant height, and leaf area. Chlorophyll content was also performed in both sources. Further, a comparison of chemical constituents from different sources was analyzed by GC-MS.
Results: The bioactive components in hydroponically grown
Conclusion: Hence, hydroponics could be an alternative in agriculture and this system is now accepted globally. This method provides diverse perspectives for farmers to harvest high-yield, better quality, and enhanced bioactive compounds.

Abstract The present study was conducted with the intention to study the prices and arrival behaviour of apple fruit in major markets of India based on the secondary wholesale data from January, 2005 to December, 2017 collected from National Horticulture Board. In the analysis arrivals and prices showed positive trends in selected markets. The arrivals of apple have shown very high seasonality in all markets as the arrival indices were higher in peak season (July to October) compared to off-season. Prices of apple have not shown much variation throughout the year which is evident from low seasonality rate in all markets. The variation in prices was the lowest in Azadpur market (6.37%), followed by Mumbai market (11.33%) and the highest in Dhalli market (17.49%). Delhi market has the most stable prices throughout the year as this market is fed by different states and imports. Government should improve market infrastructure (cold storages) for better prices realization to the domestic growers during off-season.
