Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is defined as a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disorder that causes damage to limb joints and progressive injuries to secondary organs. Medical practitioners prescribe Methotrexate (MTX) as standard care medicine for treating RA. However, the long-term application of MTX has shown to have adverse health-related effects. Divya Amvatari Ras (DAR), an Indian Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulation, has been described in ancient texts to provide relief from RA inflammation associated distress. Therefore, in the present study, we explored the biocompatibility, anti-inflammatory, and anti-arthritic efficacy of DAR using

Abstract Background: Dental implant peri-implant mucositis is a prevalent complication that can lead to implant failure if left untreated. Various management techniques have been proposed, but their comparative effectiveness remains unclear of dental implant peri-implant mucositis.
Materials and methods: A total of 120 patients with peri-implant mucositis were randomly assigned to one of four treatment groups: Group A received mechanical debridement alone, Group B received mechanical debridement with adjunctive antiseptic mouthwash, Group C underwent laser therapy, and Group D received a combination of mechanical debridement and systemic antibiotics. Clinical parameters, including bleeding on probing (BOP), probing pocket depth (PPD), and plaque index (PI), were recorded at baseline and after a three-month follow-up period.
Results: At the three-month follow-up, significant improvements were observed in all treatment groups. However, Group D, which received a combination of mechanical debridement and systemic antibiotics, showed the most substantial reduction in BOP (mean reduction of 78.2%), PPD (mean reduction of 2.5 mm), and PI (mean reduction of 1.7). Group C, treated with laser therapy, demonstrated the second-best outcomes with a mean reduction of 65.4% in BOP, 2.0 mm in PPD, and 1.3 in PI. Groups A and B showed moderate improvements, with no statistically significant differences between them.
Conclusion: This randomized controlled trial (RCT) suggests that a combination of mechanical debridement and systemic antibiotics (Group D) is the most effective treatment for managing dental implant peri-implant mucositis, yielding superior clinical outcomes compared to other techniques.

Abstract Lung cancer, a leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally, is gaining research interest more than ever before. Owing to the burden of pathogenesis on the quality of life of patients and subsequently the healthcare system, research efforts focus on its management and amelioration. In an effort to improve bioavailability, enhance stability, minimize adverse effects and reduce the incidence of resistance, nanotechnological platforms have been harnessed for drug delivery and improving treatment outcomes. Lipid nanoparticles, in particular, offer an interesting clinical opportunity with respect to the delivery of a variety of agents. These include synthetic chemotherapeutic agents, immunotherapeutic molecules, as well as phytoconstituents with promising anticancer benefits. In addition to this, these systems are being studied for their usage in conjunction with other treatment strategies. However, their applications remain limited owing to a number of challenges, chiefly clinical translation. There is a need to address the scalability of such technologies, in order to improve accessibility. The authors aim to offer a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of lipid nanoparticles and their application in lung cancer, the interplay of disease pathways and their mechanism of action and the potential for delivery of a variety of agents. Additionally, a discussion with respect to results from preclinical studies has also been provided. The authors have also provided a well-rounded insight into the limitations and future perspectives. While the possibilities are endless, there is a need to undertake focused research to expedite clinical translation and offer avenues for wider applications in disease management.

Abstract Background: Adhesiveness with radicular dentin is absent with gutta-percha, leading to microleakage and hence re-infection. Root canal sealer helps to achieve an adhesive interface between gutta-percha and root dentin thereby resisting the displacement forces during the functioning of teeth which is evaluated by the push-out test. The aim of this study is to compare the push-out bond strength and to assess the relative bond failure between dentin-sealer, sealer-main cone of (1) epoxy resin, (2) silicon, (3) mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), (4) calcium hydroxide, (5) bioceramic, (6) zinc oxide eugenol containing root canal sealers.
Methodology: Sixty human permanent lower premolars with one root were collected, disinfected, and decoronated at cemento-enamel junction. Instrumentation was done with a K3 40,0.06 Ni-Ti rotary file and obturated using the main cone and sealer. Based on the sealer utilized, six groups were created: Group 1: AH-Plus, Group 2: RoekoSeal, Group 3: MTA Fillapex, Group 4: Apexit, Group 5: Smart Paste Bio, and Group 6: Procosol. One slice each was obtained from the coronal, middle, and apicalsections of all the obturated canals. Push-out bond strength and failure modes were studied. Statistics involved analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the post hoc Tukey test.
Results: All three sections exhibited the highest strength for Smart Paste Bio sealer and the least was for RoekoSeal. With all the sealers, the apical section had the highest strength followed by the middle and coronal.
Conclusion: The smart seal system was superior to all other sealers and displayed a good bond to dentin.
