Abstract China has the largest foreign exchange reserve in the world, but the high foreign exchange reserve is a double-edged sword for the country. There are two kinds of analysis for this. First, China's foreign exchange reserves have far exceeded the reasonable scale, which will cause China to pay extremely high management costs. Second, China's foreign exchange reserves are considerable, but this is the objective demand of the economy. Sufficient foreign exchange reserves can make China occupy a favorable position in international development. Based on the data on China's foreign exchange reserve, foreign debt scale and GDP from 1985 to 2019, this paper analyzes the positive and negative effects of high foreign exchange reserve on China's economic development. By analyzing the current situation of China's foreign exchange, the author gives some policy suggestions: (1) appropriately reduce foreign exchange reserves; (2) promote the reform of the exchange rate system; (3) reform the foreign exchange system

Abstract Fracture of the alveolar bone resorption is a common complication in orthodontic treatment, which mainly caused by extreme mechanical loading. However, the ferroptosis with orthodontic tooth movement(OTM) relationship has not been thoroughly described. We here analysed whether ferroptosis is involved in OTM-associated alveolar bone loss. Mouse osteoblasts (MC-3T3) and knockdown glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) MC-3T3 were stimulated with compressive force loading and ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1, a ferroptosis inhibitor), and the changes in lipid peroxidation morphology, expression of ferroptosis-related factors and osteogenesis levels were detected. After establishing the rat experimental OTM model, the changes in ferroptosis-related factors and osteogenesis levels were reevaluated in the same manner. Ferroptosis was involved in mechanical stress regulating osteoblast remodelling, and Fer-1 and erastin affected osteoblasts under compression force loading. Fer-1 regulated ferroptosis and autophagy in MC-3T3 and promoted bone proliferation. GPX4-dependent ferroptosis stimulated the YAP (homologous oncoproteins Yes-associated protein) pathway, and GPX4 promoted ferroptosis via the YAP-TEAD (transcriptional enhanced associate domain) signal pathway under mechanical compression force. The in vivo experiment results were consistent with the in vitro experiment results. Ferroptosis transpires during the motion of orthodontic teeth, with compression force side occurring earlier than stretch side within 4 h. GPX4 plays an important role in alveolar bone loss, while Fer-1 can inhibit the compression force-side alveolar bone loss. GPX4's Hippo-YAP pathway is activated by the lack of compression force in the lateral alveolar bone.

Abstract The total variation (TV) minimization algorithm is an effective CT image reconstruction algorithm that can reconstruct sparse or noisy projection data with high accuracy. However, in some cases, the TV algorithm produces stepped artifacts. The relative TV algorithm outperforms TV algorithm in the field of image denoising. In view of this, the relative TV model is introduced into image reconstruction, a relative TV minimum optimization model is proposed, and the corresponding solution algorithm is designed under the framework of adaptive gradient descent projection to the convex set (ASD-POCS) to further improve reconstruction accuracy. The reconstruction experiments were conducted with Shepp Logan, Forbild, and real CT image simulation models to verify the anti-crime ability of the algorithm and evaluate the sparse reconstruction and anti-noise abilities of the algorithm. The experimental findings reveal that the algorithm outperforms the TV method in terms of anti-crime capability and the ability to reconstruct sparse or noisy projection data with high precision. Compared with the TV algorithm, the algorithm can achieve higher reconstruction accuracy.

Abstract Adding different materials to soil can improve its engineering properties, but traditional materials such as cement, lime, fly ash, etc., have caused pollution to the environment. Recently, biopolymers have shown many advantages, such as economy and environmental protection, which make them applicable to geotechnical engineering. This study summarizes the effects of biopolymers on soil's engineering properties and the main directions of current research. Firstly, the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of widely used biopolymer materials and their effects on the specific engineering characteristics of soil (i.e., water retention characteristics, strength characteristics, permeability characteristics, microstructure) are introduced, as well as the source, viscosity, pH, and cost of these biopolymers. Then, based on the theory of unsaturated soil, the current research progress on the water retention characteristics of improved soil is summarized. The key factors affecting the strength of biopolymer-treated soil are introduced. Due to the actual environmental conditions, such as rainfall, the permeability and durability of biopolymer-treated soil are also worthy of attention. In summary, it is necessary to study the variation laws of the engineering properties of biopolymer-treated soil in the full suction range, and to predict such laws reasonably. The relevant results are conducive to the safer and more scientific application of biopolymers in geotechnical engineering practice.

Abstract The infrared radiation properties of a satellite provide essential information for space target recognition. In this study, a 3D model of a satellite is obtained using a 3D reconstruction algorithm based on deep learning. The transient temperature field distribution on the target surface is simulated using the ANSYS finite element analysis method by integrating the solar zenith angle, the position of the satellite orbit, and the dynamic angle of the detector. The infrared radiation model is used to analyze the influence of target surface temperature, orbit position, and rotation angle on infrared radiation. The calculated results show that, under the set parameters, the temperature range of all targets is 280-380 K, and the temperature distribution determines the variation trend of radiation intensity. The variation trends of radiation intensity presented by different motion postures of satellites differ considerably. The radiation intensity variation of the triaxial stabilized attitude is relatively stable, whereas the radiation intensity of the spin-stabilized attitude exhibits remarkable periodic fluctuations. The periodic motion of satellite orbit leads to periodic fluctuations in infrared radiation. The obtained infrared radiation data provide support for target detection, tracking, recognition, and infrared detector parameter design.

Abstract Filtration rate is a crucial characteristic for bivalves that engage in filter feeding, and is subject to regulation in response to various environmental factors. Golden mussel, Limnoperna fortunei, known as intensively invasive species in South America and many Asian regions, has been observed to exhibit a wide range of filtration rate, resulting in challenges in hydraulic modeling and impact assessment. In this study, we performed a series of experiments and developed a mussel pump model to assess the filtration rate of golden mussels with different shell lengths and to investigate the impact of environmental factors that influence the filtration rate, i.e., food type, water temperature, and flow condition. We found that filtration rates increased with shell length, while filtration rates per unit weight decreased with shell length. Additionally, we observed that filtration rates were comparable when the mussels were fed with food that share similar/identical cellular properties, e.g., Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Chlorella pyrenoidosa. The temperature's effect on filtration rates followed a skewed unimodal pattern, with an optimal temperature near 20 ℃. Interestingly, the experiments also showed that the golden mussel can filter at low temperatures (2 ℃), indicating its capacity for overwinter survival in cold regions. Moreover, the golden mussel's filtering was promoted under low-velocity flowing conditions. The relationship between filtration rate and multiple factors was explicable using our pump mussel model, which could be simplified to reveal the effect of each single factor. The model shows superior mechanical explanations and better accuracy performance compare to previous statistical models.
