Abstract Objective: Although telemedicine interventional therapy is an innovative method to reduce public medical burden and improve heart failure, its effectiveness is still controversial. This meta-analysis evaluates the role of telemedicine interventional therapy in the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure.
Methods: Relevant literature on telemedicine in chronic heart failure treatment was screened and extracted based on predefined criteria. Quality assessment used Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0 tool, and meta-analysis was conducted using R 4.2.2 software.
Results: Fifteen English-language articles were ultimately included in this meta-analysis. The risk bias evaluation determined that 4 articles were low-risk bias and 11 articles were unclear risk bias. The meta-analysis revealed that, compared to the routine intervention group, the all-cause hospitalization rate of patients in the telemedicine intervention group decreased [OR = 0.63, 95% CI (0.41; 0.96), P =.03], and the hospitalization rate of heart failure also decreased [OR = 0.70, 95% CI (0.48; 0.85), P <.01]. However, there were no differences in mortality [OR = 0.64, 95% CI (0.41; 1.01), P =.05], length of hospitalization [MD = -0.42, 95% CI (-1.22; 0.38), P =.31], number of emergency hospitalizations [MD = -0.09, 95% CI (-0.33; 0.15), P =.45], medication compliance [OR = 1.67, 95% CI (0.92; 3.02), P =.09], or MLHFQ scores [MD = -2.30, 95% CI (-6.16; 1.56), P =.24] among the patients.
Conclusion: This meta-analysis showed that telemedicine reduced overall and heart failure-related hospitalizations in chronic heart failure patients, suggesting its value in clinical management. However, it did not significantly affect mortality, hospital stay length, emergency visits, medication adherence, or quality of life. This suggests the need to optimize specific aspects of telemedicine, identify key components, and develop strategies for better treatment outcomes.

Abstract Puncture-resistant clothing plays an important role in martial arts. This article studies the preparation process of multi-layer flexible stab-resistant fabrics, analyzes the sports properties of the fabric, and explores the potential application of stab-resistant clothing in martial arts. This article uses ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber as raw material, preprocesses it, including fiber cleaning, drying, lamination, and laminating them together through needle punching, then soaks the laminated fibers in resin, and the soaked fibers solidifies to form a specific flexible puncture-resistant fabric. This article prepares three types of layered fabrics, namely woven fabrics, nonwoven materials, and composite materials of nonwoven materials + woven fabrics + nonwoven materials, and analyzes the kinematic characteristics of the three layered fabrics. Experimental results show that when the number of layers is 4, the average breaking tensile forces of woven fabrics, nonwoven materials and composite materials are 3400, 4600 and 3860 respectively, and the average breaking elongations are 11.8%, 40.6% and 17.4% respectively. This shows that woven fabrics have the highest levels of air permeability and moisture permeability.

Abstract AbstractThe Asian corn borer, Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae), is one of the most harmful pests of many crops in Asia and Australia. This paper reports for the first time its occurrence and damage on basket willow (Salix viminalis L.). The finding allows us to alert farmers and institutions for further tracking its establishment and spread in monoculture and polyculture systems involving the basket willow in China and other countries.

Abstract Objectives: To evaluate whether the urinary continence (UC) recovery after robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) relates to the membranous urethral length (MUL) and the membranous urethral complex volume (MUV).
Materials and methods: 120 patients who underwent RARP were enrolled according to the different times of UC recovery and examined using prostate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) before surgery. The membranous urethral (MU) parameters were measured using the three-Dimensional (3D) model reconstructed by holographic technology, such as total MUV (tMUV), exposed MUV (eMUV), full MUL (fMUL) and exposed MUL (eMUL). Statistical software SPSS 26.0 was used to analyze the data and compare the MU parameters and baseline data in different groups.
    Results: Patients with larger tMUV (p = 0.038), eMUV (p = 0.003), longer fMUL (p = 0.025), eMUL (p = 0.044) had better UC after removal of the catheter, and eMUV (OR = 1.002, 95%CI = 1.001-1.004, p = 0.004) was a predictor; the patients with younger age (p = 0.021), lower VPSS score (p = 0.004) and larger eMUV (p = 0.012) and longer eMUL (p = 0.049) had better UC recovery one month after RARP while eMUV (OR = 1.002, 95% CI = 1.000-1.003, p = 0.008) and VPSS score (OR = 0.886, 95% CI = 0.806-0.973, p = 0.011) were independent risk factors; The patients with younger age (p = 0.018), larger tMUV (p = 0.029), eMUV (p = 0.016) had better UC recovery three months after RARP. eMUV (OR = 1.002, 95% CI = 1.000-1.004, p = 0.042) and age (OR = 0.904, 95% CI = 0.818-0.998, p = 0.046) were independent risk factors.
Conclusion: This clinical study shows that patients with larger MUV and longer MUL can return to UC earlier after surgery. Among that, eMUV is a better predictor.
