Abstract Green hair is due to insoluble copper deposits in the hair of blonde people. Although it is most frequently due to an increase in the copper content of algaecides in swimming pools, other causes have been recognized. Herewith, we present a case of a blonde girl who had previously commercially highlighted her hair and the hair had turned green following a swim in a pool with excess copper content in the water. Lifeguard swimming pool commented another previously affected blonde female swimmer 2 days ago. To date, <10 cases involving swimming pools with clearly increased copper concentrations have been published, and to the best of our knowledge, no similar case without traces of copper in X-ray microanalysis has been reported in the literature.

Abstract Postoperative imaging of the hip used to be dominated by radiographs, computed tomography, and occasionally nuclear medicine studies, given that most surgeries were arthroplasties or, less commonly, core decompressions. The indications and procedures performed have expanded well beyond arthroplasties and now include labral procedures (resections, repairs, and reconstructions), osteochondroplasties, acetabuloplasties, and removal of loose bodies, among others. As a result, postoperative evaluation of the hip now often includes MR imaging and MR arthrography. This article discusses normal postoperative appearances and some of the more common complications associated with hip arthroscopy and hip arthroplasty with a focus on MR imaging.

Abstract Background: There is little literature comparing intraoperative ultrasound (IOUS) with radio-guided occult lesions localization (ROLL) in nonpalpable invasive tumors in breast conserving surgery (BCS). There is a need to compare these two methods in terms of safety and efficacy.
Methods: This is an observational cohort study. All patients treated with BCS for nonpalpable invasive breast cancer using IOUS from March 2016 to March 2020 were included and compared with a historical reference control group operated on using ROLL from March 2013 to March 2017. For each detection method, the ability to locate tumors intraoperatively, tumor and surgical specimen sizes, total resection volume (TRV), optimal resection volume, excess of healthy tissue resected (ETR), margin status, re-excision rate, surgical time, complications and costs were studied.
Results: One hundred and fifty-eight were included, 83 with IOUS and 75 with ROLL. The mean tumor size is equivalent in both groups (11.88 mm IOUS
Conclusions: IOUS in BCS for nonpalpable invasive breast cancer is more accurate than ROLL because it decreases excision volumes with the same rate of free margins and re-excision. Also, IOUS is a more efficient and comfortable technique, and just as safe as ROLL.

Abstract Since the start of COVID-19 pandemic, public transport has been signalled as a potential contagion hot-spot, leading to a generalised decrease in its use. However, public transport use is still being used and little is known about how the perception of loyal users is configured in contexts of influenza-like viruses such as SARS-CoV-2. The configuration of the perception of safety acquires a critical importance in urban contexts where the public transport system is used both by tourists and local users. The presence of strangers or higher crowding levels could impact the perception of safety among residents and their consequent travel behaviour. In the present study, we explored how the presence of tourists influences the configuration of the perception safety related to the transmission of COVID-19 on public transport of daily users. We used data from an ad-hoc survey conducted at the main bus stations and stops of the Tarragona Urban Area (Catalonia, Spain) between August and September 2020. This area includes the Costa Daurada coastal destination. The 2020 summer holiday season was characterised for the relaxation of mobility restrictions and the start of the second wave of COVID-19. Results show how the presence of tourists in buses negatively influenced the perception of safety of local users. However, this influence can be mostly explained to their prior perception of risk of contagion. These findings will be useful for policymakers and public transport managers in both the latter stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and future virus-related epidemics to maintain public transport ridership.
