Abstract Plantago species, which is known to adapt to different climatic conditions, drought, temperature and different soil types. The aim of this study was to compare the effects of P. lanceolata herbage on fattening performance, rumen variables, digestibility, meat quality, meat nutrients and meat textural variables in lambs with the values of Italian ryegrass and sainfoin herbages. The lambs were fed total mix ration (TMR) with concentrated feed (about 30%) plus forage (about 70%) (P. lanceolata, PLA, Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum); IRY or sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia) herbages, SAI). Twenty-four male lambs (Akkaraman breed) were assigned to three treatments with 8 lambs in each group. Fattening performance parameters, digestibility and carcass variables were determined. Meat quality and shelf life variables (oxidation, fatty acid profile and textural variables) was detected in the loin (Musculus longissimus), shoulder (M. deltoideus) and leg (M. semitendinosus) muscle samples, which were rested for 24 h +4°C and stored at -20°C for one week, one month, three months and six months. The dry matter (DM) intake, body weight gain, feed efficiency and carcass yield values of lambs, the DM and organic matter (OM) digestions (DMD and OMD) of TMRs, and the pH value, ammonia-nitrogen and short chain fatty acid (SCFA) concentrations of rumen fluid in lambs consuming PLA were similar to those of IRY and SAI (p > 0.05). PLA increased water holding capacity (WHC) and decreased cooking loss of meat compared to feeding with those of IRY and SAI (p < 0.05). The peroxide value (PV) and malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration increased with the stocking time in the meats (p < 0.05). Therefore, PV and MDA concentrations of shoulder, leg and loin meats up to 6th months for PLA were lower than those of IRY and SAI (p < 0.05). The linoleic acid concentration of loin and shoulder meats in PLA were higher than those of IRY and SAI (p < 0.05). The average oleic acid and ∑ω6 fatty acids concentration of meat in PLA was lower than those in IRY and SAI (p < 0.05). Atherogenic index and thrombogenic index values and palmitic acid levels of meat in PLA were similar to those in IRY, but lower than those in SAI (p < 0.05). Springiness, cohesiveness, resilience, hardness and chewiness values of the textural analysis parameters in meat of PLA were lower than those of IRY and SAI. As a result, effect of P. lanceolata on the fattening performance and rumen fermentation of lambs were similar with those of Italian ryegrass (Gramineae family) and sainfoin (Leguminosae family) forages and, it had a positive effect on meat quality (water holding capacity, cooking loss) and meat shelf life criteria (MDA, PV, fatty acid profile and textural variables). For functional lamb meat production, P. lanceolata can be included in the diet of lamb fattening.

Abstract In today’s competitive environment, stimulating and maintaining customer engagement through gamified apps seems essential for gaining a sustainable competitive advantage. Consequently, gamification in marketing apps has garnered increased attention from companies interested in exploring how gaming processes and experiences can be utilized to create more engaging digital platforms. The objective of this study is to examine how consumer experiences and satisfaction with mobile gaming apps influence their purchase intentions and propensity to participate in word-of-mouth (WOM) communication. A total of 351 study participants who have used gamified mobile apps completed an online survey. The study results indicate that user experience with the gamified mobile apps has a positive influence on consumers’ perceived value and satisfaction. Furthermore, perceived value and satisfaction mediate the relationships between gamified mobile app experience and marketing outcomes, specifically purchase intentions and WOM communication. The implications for sustainable behavior are also discussed.

Abstract Background: Tigecycline-associated hypofibrinogenemia has been reported as an important adverse effect in recent years, but controlled studies minimizing confounding factors are needed. The objective of our study was to assess changes in fibrinogen levels in patients for hospitalization, comparing two antibiotic episodes (tigecycline and other) within the same patients.
Methods: The retrospective, self-controlled case series study was conducted at our University Hospitals. The study compared the change in fibrinogen levels during the patient's hospitalization for tigecycline (TigePer) and another antibiotic period (OtherPer). In addition, bleeding events, bleeding risk (determined by the IMPROVE bleeding risk score), as well as 15- and 30-day mortality rates between TigePer and OtherPer were compared.
Results: The study enrolled 50 patients with 100 episodes of antibiotic treatment. The median age (interquartile range) of the patients was 68.5 (21.5) years, and 38 % were female. As compared to OtherPer, TigePer had a statistically significant reduction in fibrinogen levels (p < 0.001), with a hypofibrinogenemia rate of 40 % in TigePer as compared to 2 % in OtherPer (p < 0.001). TigePer demonstrated a significantly higher 15-day mortality rate (p = 0.006). No significant differences were observed between the two periods in terms of bleeding risk, rate of bleeding events, and 30-day mortality rate (p > 0.05).
Conclusion: Hypofibrinogenemia and other coagulopathies, without associated bleeding events, are more frequently observed in patients receiving tigecycline. Therefore, it is crucial for clinicians to monitor fibrinogen levels during tigecycline use.

Abstract Monte Carlo simulation method and Nuclear Medicine MIRD method were used to evaluate the effect of radiopharmaceuticals on Covid-19 disease. The mean absorbed organ dose in the target organ and gamma radiation emitter attenuation properties such as linear attenuation coefficients, energy absorption build-up factors (EABF), exposure build-up factors (EBF), and relative dose distributions (RDD) were examined. The results showed that radiopharmaceuticals containing gamma radiation emitters which are densely ionizing charged particles induced membrane damage and produced protein damage.

Abstract Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) are common health problems in pregnant women. The aim of this case-control study was to evaluate the effects of GDM on LUTS in pregnant women. This study was conducted with 44 pregnant women diagnosed with GDM and 44 pregnant without GDM. Patients with GDM had significantly lower likelihood of experiencing urgency (7.069-fold lower likelihood); whereas they had significantly greater likelihoods for urinary incontinence (UI) during sexual intercourse (OR: 0.185; 5.4-fold higher), need for clothing change due to UI (OR: 0.268; 3.7-fold higher), and adverse effects on daily life due to UI (OR: 0.338; 2.9-fold higher) compared to women without GDM (
