    Abstract Cognitive models of psychosis have stimulated empirical studies on cognitive biases involved in schizophrenia spectrum psychoses and their symptoms. This systematic review aimed to summarize the studies on the role of cognitive biases as assessed in different performance-based tasks in schizophrenia spectrum psychoses and clinical high-risk states. We focused on five cognitive biases linked to psychosis, i.e., aberrant salience, attentional biases, source monitoring biases, jumping to conclusions, and bias against disconfirmatory evidence. We identified N = 324 studies published in N = 308 articles fulfilling inclusion criteria. Most studies have been cross-sectional and confirmed that the schizophrenia spectrum psychoses are related to exaggerated cognitive biases compared to healthy controls. On the contrary, less evidence suggests a higher tendency for cognitive biases in the UHR sample. The only exceptions were source monitoring and jumping to conclusions, which were confirmed to be exaggerated in both clinical groups. Hallucinations and delusions were the most frequent symptoms studied in the context of cognitive biases. Based on the findings, we presented a hypothetical model on the role of interactions between cognitive biases or additive effects of biases in shaping the risk of psychosis. Future research is warranted for further development of cognitive models for psychosis.

    Abstract Library generation experiments are a key part of the discovery of new materials, methods, and models in chemistry, but the question of how to generate high quality libraries to enable discovery is nontrivial. Herein, we use coordination chemistry to demonstrate the automation of many of the workflows used for library generation in automated hardware including the Chemputer. First, we explore the target-oriented synthesis of three influential coordination complexes, to validate key synthetic operations in our system; second, the generation of focused libraries in chemical and process space; and third, the development of a new workflow for prospecting library formation. This involved Bayesian optimization using a Gaussian process as surrogate model combined with a metric for novelty (or serendipity) quantification based on mass spectrometry data. In this way, we show directed exploration of a process space toward those areas with rarer observations and build a picture of the diversity in product distributions present across the space. We show that this effectively "engineers" serendipity into our search through the unexpected appearance of acetic anhydride, formed

    Abstract Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is one of the most accessible additive manufacturing (AM) technologies for processing polymeric materials. It allows processing most of thermoplastic polymers, with polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PET-G) and polylactic acid (PLA). AM parts tend to display anisotropic behavior because of layer-by-layer fabrication and various technological parameters that can be set for 3D print, so it is hard to predict and analyze how the manufactured parts would behave under load. This research presents results of classic tensile strength tests performed on 57 PET-G specimens and 57 PLA specimens manufactured with varying technological parameters such as: printing temperature, print orientation, layer height, and infill percentage. Afterward, a comparative analysis is performed, proposing specific tensile strength (STS) as a benchmark to determine how 3D printed parts strength is varying due to beforementioned parameters, eliminating bias induced by varying weight of specimens. The biggest relative increase of UTS and the biggest relative decrease of STS was noted for variable infill percentage (increasing infill-PLA: 37.27% UTS increase and 30.41% STS decrease; PET-G: 24.42% UTS increase and 37.69% STS decrease). The biggest relative increase of STS between examined parameters was observed for both materials as the printing temperature was increased (27.53% for PLA and 12.69% for PET-G). Similar trends in STS changes were observed for both materials. Obtained data shows which FDM AM parameters are the most important to obtain the biggest UTS of manufactured parts, and those do not overlap with parameters needed to obtain optimal strength-to-weight ratio.

    Abstract High-speed steel (HSS) tools account for 20 percent of the cutting tools materials' global market. This is due to both their significant toughness and resistance to cracking, compared to cemented carbides. Covering steel tools with hard coatings clearly improves their mechanical properties, wear resistance, and significantly increases their durability. Physical vapor deposition methods are preferred for coating metal substrates, as they allow low temperature deposition. The most widely deposited coating materials are carbides, nitrides, and borides. They are combined with softer ones in the multilayer structure to promote increased resistance to cracking and delamination in comparison to monolayered structures.     Abstract This project explored the relationship between virtual animal-related engagement (ARE) and anxiety in nurse leaders. A quality improvement project used a valid and reliable visual analog scale from 0 to 100 for self-reporting of anxiety in nurse leaders. Baseline and intervention group data were collected for 2 weeks at 15 and 5 minutes before the daily leadership huddle. Differences in anxiety levels 5 minutes before the huddle for baseline with the use of the intervention were significant. Within the intervention group, anxiety levels at 15 and 5 minutes were significant. Project outcomes suggest a difference in self-reported anxiety of nurse leaders based on ARE.

    Abstract Post-Retirement Enlightenment Syndrome is a term used by some in illicit drug policy to reflect the experience of having politicians "come out" in favour of drug policy reform only after retirement. To date, the phenomenon has not been examined in any systematic manner. While discussions of the phenomenon on social media tend to be playful, they nevertheless express real frustration with the reluctance of privately supportive sitting politicians and policing officials to speak out in favour of non-punitive and/or harm reduction-oriented policies. In this commentary, we give an overview of the phenomenon of Post-Retirement Enlightenment Syndrome. We argue that these instances of sitting officials speaking out publicly in favour of drug policy reform, as well as instances in which such apparent "enlightenment" is not publicly expressed until after retirement, are potentially highly fruitful areas for investigation. Public positions on drug policy are invariably contoured by conditions of political possibility. We raise the call for both an unpacking and examination of the structural and relational aspects of "political will" and "political courage". Sitting and retired politicians each have a role in the drug policy landscape, whether as lawmakers or as high-profile and often respected commentators. This commentary argues that a more nuanced understanding of the conditions that may support or hinder the expression of public support for drug policy reform by political office bearers, whether sitting or former, has implications for advocates and researchers invested in policy change.

    Abstract Mixed phenotype acute leukaemia (MPAL) is associated with worse overall survival, compared with other acute leukaemias in adults. Lack of clear treatment guidelines makes the therapy challenging. ALL-like induction and consolidation treatment followed by allo-HSCT is the preferred first-line treatment. We present a case of a 36-year-old woman diagnosed with MPAL (EGIL Myelo/B) with KMT2A rearrangement, treated with the PALG-ALL-7 (including PEG-asparaginase) protocol. On day 25 after the induction therapy initiation, numbness of limbs and dizziness were observed. Therefore, the imaging studies (CT and MRI) were performed and a diagnosis of thrombosis of superior sagittal sinus of the brain was established. Routinely performed blood coagulation tests showed prolonged APTT and PT, decreased antithrombin III activity and decreased free protein S concentration. LMWH treatment and substitutional therapy with antithrombin III were started, which resulted in a significant reduction in the thrombosis associated symptoms and improvement of the neurological status after 3 days. After induction and consolidation therapy, the patient obtained complete haematological remission and negative measurable residual disease. Six months after the diagnosis, allo-HSCT was successfully performed. During the 4 months follow-up, the patient remained MRD negative and thrombotic symptoms free. To the best of our knowledge, our communication has been the first report of such complication in an MPAL patient treated with PEG-asparaginase containing protocol in adults. We recommend increased vigilance in patients manifesting any mild neurological symptoms and early decision about the MRI study performance.

    Abstract Background: Push-ups (PU) are a common closed chain exercise used to enhance shoulder girdle stability, with variations that alter the difficulty or target specific muscles. To appropriately select and prescribe PU exercises, an understanding of muscle activity during variations of the PU is needed. The purpose of this scoping review was to identify common PU variations and describe their muscle activation levels.
    Methods: Databases searched included PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, and SPORTDiscus for articles published between January 2000 and November 2019.
    Results: Three hundred three articles were screened for eligibility with 30 articles included in the analysis. Six PU types and five muscles met the criteria for analysis. Weighted mean electromyography (EMG) amplitude was calculated for each muscle across PU types and for each PU type as a measure of global muscle activity. Triceps and pectoralis major had the highest EMG amplitude during unstable, suspension, incline with hands on a ball and the standard PU. Serratus anterior had the highest EMG amplitude during PU plus and incline PU. The greatest global EMG amplitude occurred during unstable surface PU.
    Discussion: These results provide clinicians with a framework for prescribing PU to target specific muscles and scale exercise difficulty to facilitate rehabilitation outcomes.
