    Abstract Introduction: There are great differences in ST-segment depression during PSVT episodes. The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical significance of ST segment depression during PSVT.
    Methods: The study enrolled 333 consecutive patients who were diagnosed with PSVT by electrophysiological test from Jan 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022. The range, magnitude and morphology of ST-segment depression were described. The correlation between ST-segment depression and symptoms of chest tightness, chest pain or hypotension, the correlation between ST-segment depression and coronary stenosis, and the possible influencing factors were analyzed. In addition, the diagnostic efficacy of ST-segment depression for AVRT was determined.
    Results: ST-segment depression was present in 85% of patients, in 70% of which the depression range was more than six leads. The magnitude of the depression was more significant in precordial leads (P < 0.001). ST-segment depression of >1 mm in limb leads and precordial leads was found in 36.0% and 49.8% of the patients, respectively, while >3 mm was found in 2.4% and 9.6%, respectively. The morphology of ST-segment depression in limb leads was different from that in precordial leads (P < 0.001). Downsloping ST-segment depression was more common in limb leads (limb vs. precordial: 40.5% vs. 12.6%), whereas upsloping depression was more common in precordial leads (limb vs. precordial: 3.0% vs. 23.1%). Correlation analysis showed that ST-segment depression was not correlated with symptoms of chest tightness and pain, nor was it correlated with coronary artery stenosis. The most important influencing factor is the type of PSVT, especially affecting the morphology of depression in limb leads (OR = 10.27 [5.93-17.79], P < 0.001). The sensitivity and specificity of downsloping ST-segment depression in limb leads for diagnosis of AVRT were 75.5% and 76.7%.
    Conclusion: ST-segment depression is a common ECG change during PSVT episodes, and it's not associated with severe coronary stenosis. The type of PSVT has a significant effect on the manifestation of ST-segment depression. The downslope morphology of ST-segment depression in limb leads is helpful in differentiating AVRT from AVNRT.

    Abstract The mitochondrial calcium uniporter (MCU) occupies a noteworthy position in the regulation of mitochondrial calcium uptake. This study investigated the effects of MCU modulator-mediated mitochondrial calcium on mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, endogenous enzyme activities, and tenderness during postmortem aging. Spermine, as an activator of MCU, resulted in an increase in mitochondrial calcium levels, not only disrupting mitochondrial morphology but also triggering mitochondrial oxidative stress and downregulation of antioxidant factors. Additionally, the spermine group underwent later activation of calpain and earlier activation of caspases, as well as the myofibril fragmentation index was initially lower and then higher compared with control group, indicating that endogenous enzymes played an indispensable role in different aging periods. Interestingly, the results of the Ru360 (an inhibitor of MCU) group were opposite to those aforementioned findings. Our data provide a novel perspective on the regulatory mechanism of mitochondrial calcium homeostasis mediated by MCU on tenderness.

    Abstract There are numerous factors that affect human health. Among others, environmental degradation, bad governance, and extensive economic growth are regarded as more destructive for health-related issues. To explore the nexus of the said factors and extend the scholarly literature, the current study aims to analyze the influence of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, governance indicators, and gross domestic product (GDP) on human health expenditures-captured by domestic health expenditures and capital health expenditures. Specifically, this study contrasted variables including regulatory quality (RQ), rule of law (RL), GDP, GHG emissions, and human capital (HC) with that of human health expenditure. Covering the period from 1996 to 2020, this study uses time series specifications in the case of China, which is one of the largest pollution-emitting economies across the globe. The empirical results found that the long-run equilibrium relationship exists between the variables. For the long-run coefficients, this study utilizes the fully modified ordinary least square, dynamic ordinary least square, and canonical cointegration regression, suggesting that economic development and RQ are adversely affecting human health expenditure. However, GHG emissions, RQ, and HC significantly improve human health by increasing health expenditure in China. Based on the empirical results, policies are suggested regarding human health improvement, improved governance quality, and environmental sustainability. The study discusses the empirical conclusions and implications as per COP26 declarations.

    Abstract The influence of ferulic acid (FA) on rice starch was investigated by incorporating it at various concentrations (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 %, w/w, on dry starch basis) and subjecting the resulting composites to hot-extrusion 3D printing (HE-3DP) process. This study examined the effects of FA addition and HE-3DP on the structural, rheological, and physicochemical properties as well as the printability and digestibility of rice starch. The results indicated that adding 0-5 % FA had no significant effect; however, as the amount of FA increased, the printed product edges became less defined, the product's overall stability decreased, and it collapsed. The addition of FA reduced the elasticity and viscosity, making it easier to extrude the composite gel from the nozzle. Moreover, the crystallinity and short-range ordered structure of the HE-3D printed rice starch gel decreased with the addition of FA, resulting in a decrease in the yield stress and an increase in fluidity. Furthermore, the addition of FA reduced the digestibility of the HE-3D-printed rice starch. The findings of this study may be useful for the development of healthier modified starch products by adding bioactive substances and employing the 3D printing technology.

    Abstract Nowadays, the demand for nuclear power is continue increasing due to its safety, cleanliness, and high economic benefits. Radioactive iodine from nuclear accidents and nuclear waste treatment processes poses a threat to humans and the environment. Therefore, the capture and storage of radioactive iodine are vital. Bismuth-based (Bi-based) materials have drawn much attention as low-toxicity and economical materials for removing and immobilizing iodine. Recent advances in adsorption and immobilization of vapor iodine by the Bi-based materials are discussed in this review, in addition with the removal of iodine from solution. It points out the neglected areas in this research topic and provides suggestions for further development and application of Bi-based materials in the removal of radioactive iodine.

    Abstract Recent years have seen both a fresh knowledge of cancer and impressive advancements in its treatment. However, the clinical treatment paradigm of cancer is still difficult to implement in the twenty-first century due to the rise in its prevalence. Radiotherapy (RT) is a crucial component of cancer treatment that is helpful for almost all cancer types. The accuracy of RT dosage delivery is increasing as a result of the quick development of computer and imaging technology. The use of image-guided radiation (IGRT) has improved cancer outcomes and decreased toxicity. Online adaptive radiotherapy will be made possible by magnetic resonance imaging-guided radiotherapy (MRgRT) using a magnetic resonance linear accelerator (MR-Linac), which will enhance the visibility of malignancies. This review's objectives are to examine the benefits of MR-Linac as a treatment approach from the perspective of various cancer patients' prognoses and to suggest prospective development areas for additional study.

    Abstract Lysosomes are membrane-bound organelles with an acidic lumen and are traditionally characterized as a recycling center in cells. Lysosomal ion channels are integral membrane proteins that form pores in lysosomal membranes and allow the influx and efflux of essential ions. Transmembrane protein 175 (TMEM175) is a unique lysosomal potassium channel that shares little sequence similarity with other potassium channels. It is found in bacteria, archaea, and animals. The prokaryotic TMEM175 consists of one six-transmembrane domain that adopts a tetrameric architecture, while the mammalian TMEM175 is comprised of two six-transmembrane domains that function as a dimer in lysosomal membranes.     Abstract Tumour immunotherapy has achieved remarkable clinical success in many different types of cancer in the past two decades. The outcome of immune checkpoint inhibitors in cancer patients has been linked to the quality and magnitude of T cell, NK cell, and more recently, B cell within the tumour microenvironment, suggesting that the immune landscape of a tumour is highly connected to patient response and prognosis. It is critical to understanding tumour immune microenvironments for identifying immune modifiers of cancer progression and developing cancer immunotherapies. The infiltration of solid tumours by immune cells with anti-tumour activity is both a strong prognostic factor and a therapeutic goal. Recent approaches and applications of new technologies, especially single-cell mRNA analysis in dissecting tumour microenvironments have brought important insights into the biology of tumour-infiltrating immune cells, revealed a remarkable degree of cellular heterogeneity and distinct patterns of immune response. In this review, we will discuss recent advances in the understanding of tumour infiltrated lymphocytes, their prognostic benefit, and predictive value for immunotherapy.

    Abstract This study had three objectives: (1) to consolidate poverty alleviation achievements and connect them with the current rural vitalization strategy; (2) to inaugurate agricultural modernization development in rural areas of the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone, an important grain production area in China, during the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan in China (2021–2025); and (3) to assess the ecological function area and economic development highland in Jiangxi Province. This study aimed to examine cultivated land multifunctionality (economic, social, and ecological functions) and explore its evolution and coordination in the context of increasingly serious contradiction between man and land in China. This study established an index system based on a mechanical model to evaluate cultivated land multifunctionality, the spatiotemporal pattern of multifunctionally cultivated land, and the coordination among sub-functions in different periods. Its results were as follows: (1) the cultivated land’s multifunctional value generally increased from 2016 to 2020, with spatial characteristics of highland surrounding a lake; (2) the cultivated land functions’ coordination values were generally better in 2020 than in 2016, showing a generally positive development trend; (3) changes in cultivated land function were concentrated in Quadrants Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅵ; and (4) the ecological function had the advantage in the study areas. Study conclusions were as follows: (1) the development of cultivated land multifunctionality has achieved notable successes through the significant benefits of an ecological economy; (2) the coordination of the cultivated land’s economic, social, and ecological functions has increased dramatically; (3) the ecological significance in the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone, whose ecological economy was flourishing, was outstanding; and (4) most importantly, it supports implementing the rural vitalization strategy in the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan in China.
