Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can affects many organs including the eyes. Corneal perforation in the form of peripheral ulcerative keratopathy can be debilitating and difficult to manage. A 48-year-old female with known RA presented with sudden loss of vision in her left eye, she was diagnosed with left corneal perforation secondary to severe dry eye. Penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) and punctum occlusion were done. Amniotic membrane transplant (AMT) was done 1 month later due to nonhealing epithelial defect. Her RA was clinically inactive, and no changes in her current medications were made. However, 4 months later, she presented with a second corneal perforation with melting. She had another PKP and AMT with permanent temporal tarsorrhaphy. Cyclosporine 100 mg P. O. twice daily was added, but after 5 months, she presented again with a third left corneal perforation with melting. Again, PKP and AMT with tarsorrhaphy were done, and she was started on infliximab. Since then, she had a stable graft with no further corneal perforations. In summary, patients with RA can have corneal perforations even if other signs of RA are absent. If the systemic treatment that is used to treat RA fails, one should consider using other classes of drugs, such as monoclonal antibodies (e.g., rituximab), tumor necrosis factor alpha blockers (such as infliximab or adalimumab), interleukin (IL)-1 receptor antagonists (e.g., anakinra), or IL-6 receptor antagonist (e.g., tocilizumab).

Abstract Supernumerary lacrimal punctum is rare, and very few cases have been reported. Most patients are asymptomatic, but in some excessive tearing could be a symptom. In addition, obstruction of the canaliculi causing canaliculitis has been reported. We describe four cases in detail with their presentations and diagnosis. The first patient presented with a right eye lesion and during examination, the left eye was less than mid dilated compared to that of the right eye. Further examination of the left eye revealed two left lower lid puncta. In another patient who was evaluated for diabetic retinopathy, two left lower lid puncta that shared the same canaliculus were noted. Furthermore, two lower lid puncta were found in a patient who came for cataract follow-up. Finally, in a patient who was following up in the retinal clinic, two lower lid puncta were documented. Probing to the accessory punctum showed that the canaliculus had an immediate horizontal course, unlike the rest of the puncta which showed a vertical then a horizontal course. Furthermore, in the accessory punctum, there was a soft stop, around 4 mm of the inserting probe. In summary, supernumerary lacrimal punctum is rare, and ophthalmologists need to be aware of this abnormality.

Abstract Background: In response to the growing popularity of noninvasive facial cosmetic procedures, this study assessed the rate and predictors of satisfaction with such procedures in Saudi Arabia, filling a research gap and emphasizing the role of patient satisfaction in optimizing care and understanding the economic implications for healthcare.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted from May to June 2023 using an online self-administered questionnaire distributed across all regions of Saudi Arabia. Eligible participants were Saudi adults aged 18 years and older who had undergone noninvasive facial cosmetic procedures. Patients who underwent surgical/invasive cosmetic procedures, nonfacial interventions, or interventions performed by doctors other than plastic surgeons or dermatologists were excluded.
Results: Most participants reported satisfaction with their procedures. Significant predictors of satisfaction included sex, income, and residential area. Women, higher-income individuals, and residents of certain areas were more likely to report satisfaction. Participants also expressed a high level of satisfaction with the friendly and polite treatment they received from their doctors but showed dissatisfaction with the difficulty they faced in securing immediate postprocedure appointments.
Conclusions: This study provides valuable insights into the rate and predictors of satisfaction after noninvasive facial cosmetic procedures in Saudi Arabia. These findings underscore the importance of considering sociodemographic factors in patient satisfaction and suggest areas for improvement in patient care, particularly in facilitating immediate postprocedure appointments. Future research should continue to explore these and other potential predictors to further improve patient outcomes in the field of noninvasive facial cosmetic procedures.

Abstract Introduction: Testicular cancer (TC) is a serious health issue, which requires early detection through testicular self-examination (TSE).
Objectives: To investigate Saudi nursing students' health beliefs about TC and TSE using the Health Belief Model (HBM) scale and assess the validity and reliability of the HBM scale.
Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited a convenience sample of 374 nursing students from six nursing colleges in different cities in Saudi Arabia. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires that included demographic and academic information, as well as a valid and reliable HBM scale for TC and TSE.
Results: Most participants were single (88.8 %), in their third year of nursing education (43.9 %), had excellent or very good health (83.2%), had no family history of TC (88.9%), and had no medical problems with their testicles (92.8%). The participants had low susceptibility to TC and moderate beliefs about the seriousness of TC. Furthermore, participants reported moderate levels of perceived benefits and health motivation for preventing TC and practicing TSE, but high levels of perceived barriers and low levels of self-efficacy for practicing TSE. The internal reliability (Cronbach's alpha) of susceptibility, benefits and health motivation, seriousness, barriers, self-efficacy, and health motivation and promotion sub-scales was 0.91, 0.89, 0.88, 0.84, 0.67, and 0.65, respectively. Significant relationship between students' performing TSE and their health beliefs about Susceptibility (t=1.93, p=0.04) and Seriousness of having TC (t=2.88, p=0.03), and self-efficacy (t=3.91, p<0.001) and barriers (t=-2.51, p=0.04) to practice TSE.
Conclusion: The study concluded that Saudi nursing students had moderate levels of health beliefs about TC and TSE, with high perceived barriers and low levels of self-efficacy for practicing TSE.

Abstract The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was first found in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Because the virus spreads quickly, it quickly became a global worry. Coronaviridae is the family that contains both SARS-CoV-2 and the viruses that came before (i.e., MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV). Recent sources portray that the COVID-19 virus has affected 344,710,576 people worldwide and killed about 5,598,511 people in the last 2 years. The B.1.1.529 strain, later called "Omicron," was named a Variant of Concern on November 24, 2021. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has gone through a never-ending chain of changes that have never happened before. As a result, it has many different traits. Most of these changes have occurred in the spike protein, where antibodies bind. Because of these changes, the Omicron type is very contagious and easy to pass on. There have been a lot of studies done to try to figure out this new challenge in the COVID-19 strains race, but there is still a lot that needs to be explained. This study focuses on virtual screening, docking, and molecular dynamic analysis; we aimed to identify therapeutic candidates for the SARS-CoV-2 variant Omicron based on their ability to inhibit non-structural proteins. We investigate the prediction of the properties of a substantial database of drug molecules obtained from the OliveNet™ database. Compounds that did not exhibit adequate gastrointestinal absorption and failed the Lipinski test are not considered for further research. The filtered compounds were coupled with our primary target, SARS-CoV-2 Omicron spike protein. We focused on SARS-CoV-2 Omicron spike protein and filtering potent olive compounds. Pinoresinol, the most likely candidate, is bound best (- 8.5 kcal/mol). Pinoresinol's strong interaction with the active site made the complex's dynamic structure more resilient. MD simulations explain the protein-ligand complex's stability and function. Pinoresinol may be a promising SARS-CoV-2 Omicron spike protein receptor lead drug, and additional research may assist the scientific community.
