Abstract Cancer is a disease that causes abnormal cell formation and spreads throughout the body, causing harm to other organs. Breast cancer is the most common kind among many of cancers worldwide. Breast cancer affects women due to hormonal changes or genetic mutations in DNA. Breast cancer is one of the primary causes of cancer worldwide and the second biggest cause of cancer-related deaths in women. Metastasis development is primarily linked to mortality. Therefore, it is crucial for public health that the mechanisms involved in metastasis formation are identified. Pollution and the chemical environment are among the risk factors that are being indicated as impacting the signaling pathways involved in the construction and growth of metastatic tumor cells. Due to the high risk of mortality of breast cancer, breast cancer is potentially fatal, more research is required to tackle the deadliest disease. We considered different drug structures as chemical graphs in this research and computed the partition dimension. This can help to understand the chemical structure of various cancer drugs and develop formulation more efficiently.

Abstract Several studies have found adverse effects of abusive leadership on employees and organizations in the recent past. However, the cultural norms in Pakistan demand an abusive leadership approach. Pakistani culture is high in power distance, abuse of power is a norm, and people are accustomed to autocracy. Since most of the studies addressing the negative effects of abusive leadership were conducted in the west, it is necessary to examine whether abusive leadership is an effective leadership approach in the cultures that experience high power distance. There is a paucity of literature addressing the issue in question. In addition, existing literature does not explain how abusive leaders affect employees’ attitudes and behaviors with clarity. This research makes an ontological contribution and discusses the philosophical origins of abusive leadership theory. Furthermore, this research draws the inference using the groundings of conservation of resource theory, leader-member exchange theory, and aggression displaced theory to propose that abusive leaders deteriorate employees’ quality of working life experience. Employees with poor working-life experience are more likely to be involved in counterproductive work behavior, planning to leave the organization, and are less likely to show organizational citizenship behavior. Dyadic data were collected from 474 respondents based on purposive sampling technique from private sector organizations in Pakistan. Results of structural equation modeling using AMOS v23 supported all the proposed hypotheses. Results imply that the moral content of leadership requires special attention, and abusive leadership is not an appropriate leadership approach because of its adverse effects on employees’ attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract With the advancement of technology, the maximum data hiding capacity and security of cover objects have become a very challenging task for researchers, particularly in text carrier. Text carrier depicts low hiding capacity but more secure for the detection of confidential information. It demands novelty in data hiding algorithms. In this regard, a novel algorithm is proposed by using steganography and cryptography together for the enhancement of capacity and security of confidential data. The recommended algorithm uses a linguistic steganography method to conceal data into the Arabic text carrier. In the described algorithm, the identification of secret information from text files is hard due to less redundant bits in the text as compared to the image, audio, and video steganographic mediums. The current solution uses Unicode characters such as Zero-Width-Character (ZWC) and Zero-Width-Joiner (ZWJ) to hide the secret information. Before hiding confidential information, secret data is encrypted by using bit inversion due to which algorithm achieved high security. It is observed from the simulation results that the proposed algorithm successfully achieved high cover medium capacity, security, and robustness.

Abstract In computer networks, vertices represent hosts or servers, and edges represent as the connecting medium between them. In localization, some special vertices (resolving sets) are selected to locate the position of all vertices in a computer network. If an arbitrary vertex stopped working and selected vertices still remain the resolving set, then the chosen set is called as the fault-tolerant resolving set. The least number of vertices in such resolving sets is called the fault-tolerant metric dimension of the network. Because of the variety of applications of the metric dimension in different areas of sciences, many generalizations were proposed, and fault tolerant is one of them. In this paper, we computed the fault-tolerant metric dimension of triangular snake, ladder, Mobius ladder, and hexagonal ladder networks. It is important to observe that, in all these classes of networks, the fault-tolerant metric dimension and metric dimension differ by 1.

Abstract In quantitative structure property (QSPR) and quantitative structure activity (QSAR) relationships studies, topological indices are utilized to associate the biological activity of underline structures with their physical properties like strain energy, distortion, melting point, boiling point, and stability, etc. In these studies, the degree based topological indices have obtained center position between various kind of descriptors, due to the simplicity of finding and the rapidity with which these estimations can be accomplished. In this paper, we compute the general Randic, first and second Zagreb, Atom Bond Connectivity(ABC) and Geometric Arithmetic(GA) indices of the 2D structures of trans-Pd-(NH2)S lattice and a metal–organic superlattice. Furthermore, we present the precise formulas of the fifth version of Geometric Arithmetic index and the fourth version of Atom-Bond Connectivity index of these lattices.

Abstract Microplastics (MPx) and nanoplastics (NPx) are increasingly accumulating in terrestrial ecosystems, heightening concerns about their potential adverse effects on human health via the food chain. Techniques aimed at recovering the most challenging colloidal fractions of MPx and NPx, especially for analytical purposes, are limited. This systematic review emphasises the absence of a universal, efficient, and cost-effective analytical method as the primary hindrance to studying MPx and NPx in soil and plant samples. The study reveals that several methods, including density separation, organic matter removal, and filtration, are utilized to detect MPx or NPx in soil through vibrational spectroscopy and visual identification. Instruments such as Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (Py-GCMS), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, and fluorescence microscopy are employed to identify MPx and NPx in plant tissue. In extraction procedures, organic solvents and sonication are used to isolate NPx from plant tissues, while Pyrolysis GC-MS quantifies the plastics. SEM and TEM serve to observe and characterize NPx within plant tissues. Additionally, FTIR and fluorescence microscopy are utilized to identify polymers of MPx and NPx based on their spectral characteristics and fluorescence signals. The findings from this review clarify the identification and quantification methods for MPx and NPx in soil and plant systems and provide a comprehensive methodology for assessing MPx/NPx in the environment.

Abstract Food security is directly coupled with enhanced production under optimized cropping intensity. Intercropping is a diversified and sustainable agricultural technique with optimized cropping intensity. Intercropping is used to obtain a higher yield and more balanced products per unit area. This study was performed at Aidyn Research Institute, Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan, in 2018 and 2019 to identify the effects of different sowing patterns on maize-white bean (Zea mays–Phaseolus vulgaris) sowing systems. The field experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Göynük-98 was used for white beans, and SY Miami was used for maize, with 20 cm and 40 cm row spaces for maize, and 10 cm and 20 cm row spaces for white bean and sole maize, sole white bean, maize-white bean-maize-white bean, maize-white bean-white bean-maize and white bean-maize-maize-white bean sowing systems. The results showed that wide row spacing was better than narrow row spacing in terms of land equivalent ratio (LER) for both maize and white beans, but grain yield was higher in narrow row spacing. Yield items for both maize and white beans showed higher values in intercropping. Grain yield was higher in sole sowing. The maize-white bean-white bean-maize sowing system for maize and the white bean-maize-maize-white bean sowing system for white beans were determined as the best sowing systems according to the yield components.
