    Abstract Under double-seam mining, the main roadway surrounding rock is affected by the superposition of the advanced stress of the two-seam coal working faces. The stress superposition mode and degree are of great significance to the width calculation of the protective coal pillar and the determination of the critical control direction of the surrounding rock.     Abstract Carotenoid aggregates are omnipresent in natural world and can be synthesized in hydrophilic environments. Despite different types of carotenoid aggregates have been reported hitherto, the way to predict the formation of carotenoid aggregates, i.e. H- or J-aggregates, is still challenging. Here, for the first time, we established machine learning models that can predict the formation behavior of carotenoid aggregates. The models are trained based on a database containing different types of carotenoid aggregates reported in the literatures. With the help of these machine learning models, we found a series of unknown types of β-carotene J-aggregates. These novel aggregates are ultra-weakly coupled and have absorption bands up to 700 nm, different from all the carotenoid aggregates reported previously. Our work demonstrates that the machine learning is a powerful tool to predict the formation behavior of carotenoid aggregates and can further lead into the discovery of new carotenoid aggregates for different applications.

    Abstract Respiratory burst oxidase homolog (Rboh) family genes play crucial functions in development and growth. However, comprehensive and systematic investigation of Rboh family members in Rosaceae and their specific functions during pear pollen development are still limited. In the study, 63 Rboh genes were identified from eight Rosaceae genomes (Malus domestica, Pyrus bretschneideri, Pyrus communis, Prunus persica, Rubus occidentalis, Fragaria vesca, Prunus mume and Prunus avium) and divided into seven main subfamilies (I-VII) according to phylogenetic and structural features. Different modes of gene duplication led to the expansion of Rboh family, with purifying selection playing a vital role in the evolution of Rboh genes. In addition, RNA sequencing and qRT-PCR results indicated that PbRbohH and PbRbohJ were specifically high-expressed in pear pollen. Subsequently, subcellular localization revealed that PbRbohH/J distributed at the plasma membrane. Furthermore, by pharmacological analysis and antisense oligodeoxynucleotide assay, PbRbohH/J were demonstrated to mediate the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) to manage pollen tube growth. In conclusion, our results provide useful insights into the functions, expression patterns, evolutionary history of the Rboh genes in pear and other Rosaceae species.

    Abstract An amplitude analysis of B^{0}→J/ψϕK_{S}^{0} decays is performed using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9  fb^{-1}, collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Evidence with a significance of 4.0 standard deviations of a structure in the J/ψK_{S}^{0} system, named T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{0}, is seen, with its mass and width measured to be 3991_{-10}^{+12} _{-17}^{+9}  MeV/c^{2} and 105_{-25}^{+29} _{-23}^{+17}  MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{0} state is likely to be the isospin partner of the T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{+} state, previously observed in the J/ψK^{+} system of the B^{+}→J/ψϕK^{+} decay. When isospin symmetry for the charged and neutral T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000) states is assumed, the signal significance increases to 5.4 standard deviations.
