Abstract This paper aims to investigate the impact of organizational justice components on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behaviours (OCB) of employees in the higher education sector of Vietnam. Although many research studies have been conducted in organizations on the topics of organizational justice, as well as organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behaviour, there is a shortage of these topics in higher education institutions as well as in Asian context. Therefore, this article attempts to fill this literature gap. A total of 317 employees from various universities in Vietnam participated in this study, and a self-administered survey was conducted, which was modified based on suggestions from the universities' management team following interviews. The collected data were analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results showed that procedural justice and interactional justice had a significant impact on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment, while distributive justice only affected job satisfaction. Furthermore, the study found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment significantly affected OCB. However, this study had a limitation in terms of the narrow sample size, which only included participants from universities. Future studies should broaden the sample size to include participants from vocational colleges. On paper, the study shows the effects of organizational justice on OCB through the mediating roles of individual work outputs, which received inadequate attention in previous studies. Abstract Inflammation conditions are associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and cerebral palsy (CP), primarily observed in the peripheral immune system. However, the extent of neuro-inflammation and neuro-immune dysregulation remains poorly studied. In this study, we analyzed the composition of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to uncover the inflammatory mediators driving the neuro-immune system in ASD and CP patients. Our findings revealed that ASD patients had elevated levels of four inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-4, IL-21, and BAFF) compared to controls, while CP patients exhibited increased levels of eight inflammatory cytokines (IFN-γ, GM-CSF, TNF-α, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-17A and IL-12), one anti-inflammatory cytokine (IL-10), and five growth factors (GFs) (NGF-β, EGF, GDF-15, G-CSF and BMP-9) compared to both controls and ASD patients. Additionally, intrathecal infusion of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNCs) led to a slight decrease in TGF-β and GDF-15 levels in the CSF of ASD and CP patients, respectively. Our study provides new insights into the molecular composition of CSF in ASD and CP patients, with the potential to develop more effective diagnosis methods and improved treatment for these diseases.Clinical trial registration CSF samples used in this study are from clinical trials NCT03225651, NCT05307536, NCT02569775, NCT03123562, NCT02574923, NCT05472428 and previous reports [7, 9, 17-19].

Abstract The melon (Cucumis melo L.), a fruit crop of significant economic importance, is prized for its sweet and succulent fruits. Among variations of soluble sugars, sucrose, a disaccharide composed of glucose and fructose, is a key carbohydrate present in melon fruits. The sucrose content also determines the quality and value of melon fruits. However, the accumulation of sucrose is a complex process involving the coordinated actions of multiple enzymes and pathways. In melon species, there are two types of fruit ripening modes including climacteric and non-climacteric. Due to this biological characteristic, melon is emerging as a good model for studying the ripening process. Ethylene is a well-known phytohormone regulating the ripening of climacteric fruits. Recently, a few studies have elucidated a primary ethylene-dependent signaling pathway of sucrose accumulation in melon fruits. This review aims to provide a careful overview of the sucrose biosynthesis pathways in melon. It is essential to understand the molecular mechanisms of sucrose metabolism as well as its regulation mode. The information will be useful for developing molecular marker-assisted breeding as well as genetic engineering strategies aiming to improve the sucrose content and quality of melon fruits. In addition, even though limited, the impacts of genetic background and environmental factors on sucrose accumulation in melon fruits are also discussed. These are useful for practical applications in melon cultivation and quality management.

Abstract Introduction and importance: Uterine torsion are extremely rare in pregnancy as few cases have been reported. Torsion of the pregnant uterus is defined as the rotation more than 45 degrees around the long axis of the uterus. It has been referred as, once-in-a-lifetime diagnosis by obstetricians and gynecologists. This paper reports a case of uterine torsion and velamentous cord insertion from our obstetrical practice, along with a review of reported cases.
Case presentation: The 30-year-old patient (G2P1) at 38 weeks' gestation with a singleton pregnancy, was admitted to the Obstetrical Unit with uterine cramping and decreased fetal movement. Her prior obstetrical history included one uncomplicated term Cesarean section (2016), the current pregnancy had been velamentous cord insertion at 20 weeks' gestation and intra-uterine growth restriction at the 33rd -week gestation until the presentation date. Emergency Cesarean section was performed the 90 degrees uterine torsion and was diagnosed intra-operatively. This patient and her baby recovered and were discharged home on the fifth post-operative day.
Clinical discussion: Uterine torsion, a rare pregnancy complication, should be considered when evaluating acute abdominal pain or performing a Cesarean delivery, especially in cases of abnormal fetal presentation, pelvic adhesions, uterine fibroids, malformations, or ovarian tumors. Early diagnosis and proper treatment are crucial due to the negative prognosis for both mother and baby.
Conclusion: Uterine torsion along with velamentous cord insertion is difficult to diagnosis due to its rarity. It is essential to focus on uterine malformations during ultrasound examinations in the first, second, and third trimesters.

Abstract COVID-19 significantly disrupted tuberculosis (TB) services in Vietnam. In response, the National TB Program (NTP) integrated TB screening using mobile chest X-rays into COVID-19 vaccination events. This prospective cohort study evaluated the integrated model's yield, treatment outcomes, and costs. We further fitted regressions to identify risk factors and conduct interrupted time-series analyses in the study area, Vietnam's eight economic regions, and at the national level. At 115 events, we conducted 48,758 X-ray screens and detected 174 individuals with TB. We linked 89.7% to care, while 92.9% successfully completed treatment. The mean costs per person diagnosed with TB was $547. TB risk factors included male sex (aOR = 6.44,

Abstract Epilepsy is a prevalent neurological condition that affects individuals of all ages and genders worldwide. Surgical intervention for drug-resistant epilepsy has been found to improve quality of life, with patient independence being of utmost importance.
Methods: The study was a retrospective and prospective cross-sectional study of 35 cases of drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy. All patients were operated on by the primary author between May 2018 and September 2022. The study evaluated various factors including clinical characteristics, electroencephalogram, magnetic resonance imaging, surgical outcomes, and histopathology.
Results: The success rate of the surgeries (74.3%) is similar to those reported in high-income countries. 51.4% underwent selective amygdalohippocampectomy for cases that localized to the mesial temporal lobe. Lateral/neocortical lesions underwent lesionectomy (48.6%). Our study found a complication rate of 17.1%: meningitis (8.5%), trainset focal paralysis (2.9%), and soft tissue infection (5.7%). There were no mortalities.
Conclusions: The article showcases an international collaborative effort that demonstrates the possibility of providing highly effective and safe surgical care for temporal lobe epilepsy even in low-resource environments. The authors hope that this model can be replicated in other areas with similar resource limitations.
