Abstract Thermoelectric (TE) materials based on earth-abundant and non-toxic elements are very useful in cost-effective and eco-friendly waste heat management systems. The constituents of SrGaSnH are earth-abundant and non-toxic, thus we have chosen SrGaSnH to study its structural stability and thermoelectric properties by using density functional theory (DFT), density functional perturbation theory (DFPT), and semi-classical Boltzmann transport theory. Our elastic and phonons calculations show that the compound has good structural stability. The electronic structure calculation discloses that it is an indirect bandgap (0.63 eV by mBJ potential including spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effect) semiconductor. Light band hole effective mass leads to higher electrical conductivity along the

Abstract This study aimed to identify the impact of home quarantine challenges on the psychological status of mass people during Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the capital city (Dhaka) of Bangladesh. A highly organized questionnaire was created in "Google Form" and given to respondents at random via multiple social media sites, including WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Messenger. However, a sample size of 208 people was taken and analysis was carried out using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and Analysis of a Moment Structures software. Analysis showed that home quarantine challenges are positively related to the psychological status and home quarantine challenges have a significant impact on psychological status during COVID-19. In Bangladesh, the major challenges to home quarantine are lack of consciousness, lack of medical support, and the possibility of losing their current jobs. This study provides insight into the challenges of home quarantine and the psychological status of Bangladeshi people. The findings may be helpful for policymakers in identifying necessary measures to overcome these challenges. Only Dhaka division was taken out of seven divisions in Bangladesh to conduct this study, which might be difficult to generalize the findings of this study. Thus, in the future, it is suggested that more respondents from other divisions need to be covered.

Abstract The study determined the home quarantine challenges and psychological status of Bangladeshi University students in the COVID-19 pandemic break-out. The study also looked into the impact of home quarantine challenges on the psychological status of the student. A well-structured questionnaire was created and circulated to respondents through various social media platforms and utilized the snowball sampling technique. A total of 250 graduate and undergraduate students were taken as respondents of this study. Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS) software was used to complete the data analysis procedure. The findings of the study show that the most noteworthy home quarantine challenges for Bangladeshi University students are the lack of awareness of home quarantine advantages (82%), insufficient financial support from their families (78%), and unsatisfactory medical support (77%). Also, home quarantine challenges are positively connected to psychological status (r=.364**) and it had a significant impact (β=.287, p<0.00) on psychological status in the pandemic period. The study also aided the policymakers in the better understanding of home quarantine challenges and the psychological status of Bangladeshi students. However, out of seven divisions in Bangladesh only students of Dhaka and Sylhet were selected to be the respondents. This caused difficulty in generalizing the findings of the study.

Abstract In this work, Co₃O₄ nanoparticle-decorated MoS₂ (MoS₂@Co₃O₄) hetero-nanoflowers were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, and the effect of Co₃O₄ on the morphological, structural, optical, electronic, and photocatalytic properties of MoS₂ was analyzed. The surface morphology of MoS₂ and MoS₂@Co₃O₄ was studied via field emission electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), which revealed a strong interaction between the MoS₂ nanoflower and the nanoparticles. The X-ray diffraction pattern showed a decrease in the crystallite sizes from 7.35 nm to 6.26 nm due to the incorporation of Co₃O₄. The UV-Vis spectroscopy of the analysis revealed that the indirect band gap of MoS₂ was reduced from 1.89 eV to 1.65 eV with the incorporation of Co₃O₄ nanoparticles. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were used to investigate the electronic properties of MoS₂ and MoS₂@Co₃O₄ hetero-nanoflowers, which also showed a reduction in the electronic band gap for the Co₃O₄ nanoparticles that were injected. The presence of defect states was also observed in the electronic property of MoS₂@Co₃O₄. The photocatalytic activity of the prepared composite and nanoflower is studied using an aqueous solution of methylene blue (MB), and the efficiencies are found to be 27.96% for MoS₂ and 78.89% for MoS₂@Co₃O₄. The improved photocatalytic efficiency of MoS₂@Co₃O₄ hetero-nanoflower can be attributed to narrowing the band gap together with the creation of defect states by the injection of nanoparticles that slows down electron-hole recombination rate by trapping charge carrier. The degradation analysis of the composite provides a new route for the purification of polluted water.

Abstract In the academic world, academicians, researchers, and students have already employed Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT to complete their various academic and non-academic tasks, including essay writing, different formal and informal speech writing, summarising literature, and generating ideas. However, yet, it is a controversial issue to use ChatGPT in academic research. Recently, its impact on academic research and publication has been scrutinized. The fundamental objective of this study is to highlight the application of ChatGPT in academic research by demonstrating a practical example with some recommendations. Data for this study was gathered using published articles, websites, blogs, and visual and numerical artefacts. We have analyzed, synthesized, and described our gathered data using an "introductory literature review." The findings revealed that for the initial idea generation for academic scientific research, ChatGPT could be an effective tool. However, in the case of literature synthesis, citations, problem statements, research gaps, and data analysis, the researchers might encounter some challenges. Therefore, in these cases, researchers must be cautious about using ChatGPT in academic research. Considering the potential applications and consequences of ChatGPT, it is a must for the academic and scientific community to establish the necessary guidelines for the appropriate use of LLMs, especially ChatGPT, in research and publishing.
