Abstract Objective: The vital role played by primary caregivers in caring for cancer patients is well-recognized, but the caregiver burden and impact on family functioning to caregivers' mental health is poorly understood. This study examined the prospective and reciprocal relationships between family functioning, caregiver burden, and mental health. We aimed to determine whether inferior family functioning and heavy caregiver burden act as risk factors for mental health, as consequences of mental health, or both.
Methods: Participants were 187 primary caregivers of cancer patients. They completed questionnaires with standardized measures assessing family functioning, caregiver burden, and mental health. A quantitative longitudinal design and a cross-lag model were used to test the reciprocal relationships between variables at three time points with 6-month intervals during the first year of early-stage cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Results: Family functioning did not predict participants' future mental health, but their mental health state predicted future caregiver burden and family functioning. Caregiver burden also predicted participants' future mental health. There was a dynamic reciprocal relationship between caregiver burden and mental health over time.
Conclusions: The findings of this study emphasize the adverse effects of caregiver burden and may contribute to shedding light on the distinct mechanisms that underlie the relationships between caregiver burden, family functioning, and mental health. Our findings indicate the necessity of developing interventions to reduce the burden of caregiving and to facilitate family functioning. They will provide direction for family-centered nursing to meet primary caregivers' mental health needs in the care of cancer patients.

Abstract Objective. To analyze the expression of CEACAM1 in serum of patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to explore the correlation and clinical significance between the expression of CEACAM1 and pathological parameters of NSCLC tissue. Methods. A total of 100 patients with NSCLC who underwent tumor resection were screened. Another 100 healthy patients in physical examination department were selected as control group. Venous blood and cancer tissue samples were collected. The expression of CEACAM1, TGF-β, VEGF-A, and IL-8 was detected. Results. The results of various indicators in the lung cancer group were much higher than those in the healthy group; CEACAM1 was significantly positively correlated with TGF-β expression. The later the clinical stage and the higher the degree of differentiation of cancer tissue specimens, the more the expression of CEACAM1 in serum samples. Conclusions. The expression level of CEACAM1 in the serum of NSCLC patients is strongly correlated with TGF-β, VEGF-A, and IL-8, indicating that serum CEACAM1 and TGF-β levels can predict the occurrence, progression, and prognosis of lung cancer and provide a target for future targeted therapy of lung cancer.

Abstract With the current prevalence of economic globalization, English is still the international language of choice. The definition of cross-cultural: have a full and correct understanding of cultural phenomena, customs, and habits that are different or conflicting with the national culture, and accept and adapt to it with an inclusive attitude on this basis. Therefore, for Chinese universities, the focus is on cultivating highly qualified talents with intercultural communication skills for the country’s economic development. Intercultural communication skills are an important part of students’ language communication skills. China’s business English teaching has also begun to focus on the cultivation of students’ cross-cultural communication skills, but the effect is not satisfactory. In business English teaching, the most important thing is to improve students’ professional competence and business English expertise, and to cultivate foreign language talents with cross-cultural quality and global awareness. Based on the above reasons, this paper proposes a research on the integration of business English teaching and intercultural communication competence cultivation based on intelligent algorithms. First, this paper adopts the literature method to understand the difficulties in traditional business English teaching and the problems in the process of cultivating intercultural communication competence; then, it adopts the inductive-deductive method of intelligent algorithm and action research method to study the mode of cultivating intercultural communication competence and comprehensive experimental research. Finally, after comprehensive analysis, it was concluded that: the number of domestic literature on intercultural communication competence cultivation increased by 11.98%, and the number of literature was generally on the rise; there were significant differences in test results; the experimental students who were satisfied with the cultivation model studied in this paper reached 45.6%. This article attempts to ...

Abstract ABSTRACT Introduction: The shape, physiological function, and physical fitness (exercise ability) of the human body are the main parts of physical fitness. Different sports kinesiology methods have different effects on the human physique. System science-related theories can be applied to the research of the human health system under medical theory. Objective: We researched the human body's physique and formulate relevant sports kinesiology programs for the human body. We could analyze the influence of human body shape and physiological condition on human body constitution. Methods: We conducted research on the human body's physical health and nutrition through methods such as physical tests, anthropometric measurements, diet surveys, and laboratory examinations of the human body. Analyzing the correlation between sports and human body conditioning medicine had a favorable outcome in the study. Results: The sports kinesiology program has apparent effects on improving and enhancing human body shape, physiological functions, and physical fitness. Conclusion: The sports kinesiology program has a significant effect on improving the physical fitness of the human body. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment results.

Abstract Accumulated evidence highlights that exercise can modulate multiple cytokines, influencing transcriptional pathways, and reprogramming certain metabolic processes, ultimately promoting antitumor immunity and enhancing the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors in cancer patients. Exploring the mechanisms behind this will, for one thing, help us uncover key factors and pathways in exercise-assisted cancer immunotherapy, offering more possibilities for future treatment methods. For another, it will support the development of more personalized and effective exercise prescriptions, thereby improving the prognosis of cancer patients.
