    Abstract The combination of advanced radar sensor technology and smart grid has broad prospects. It is meaningful to monitor the respiration and heartbeat of grid employees under resting state through radar sensors to ensure that they are in a healthy working state. Ultra-wideband (UWB) radar sensor is suitable for this application because of its strong penetration ability, high range resolution and low average power consumption. However, due to weak heartbeat amplitude and measurement noise, the accurate measurement of the target heart rate is a challenge. In this paper, singular spectrum analysis (SSA) is proposed to reconstruct the eigenvalues of noisy vital signs to eliminate noise peaks around the heartbeat rate; combined with the variational modal decomposition (VMD), the target vital signs can be extracted with high accuracy. The experiment confirmed that the target vital sign information can be extracted with high accuracy from ten subjects at different distances, which can play an important role in short distance human detection and vital sign monitoring.

    Abstract The falling weight deflectometer (FWD) detection system benefits from its outstanding characteristics of no damage, fast speed, and high precision. The warping deformation of cement concrete pavement occurs due to the temperature difference along the depth of the slab, which makes FWD detect different results under different temperature fields. In this study, we systematically carried out the cement pavement's temperature field and deflection test. The experimental data were analyzed to obtain the temperature variation law of the top and bottom of the pavement slab every day. By establishing a three-dimensional finite element model of cement pavement with a multi-layer elastic foundation type, the influence of the temperature difference at the bottom of the slab on the deflection of the center point of the slab corner load under different working conditions, different seasons, different loads and whether there is polymer filling in the void area was studied. We summarize the correlation between the temperature difference and the influence coefficient and propose the cement pavement void identification and polymer grouting effect evaluation method considering the temperature effect.

    Abstract Organic photodetectors (OPDs) have attracted increasing attention in the future wearable sensing and real-time health monitoring, due to their intrinsic features including the mechanical flexibility, low-cost processing and cooling-free operations; while their performances are lagging as the results of inferior carrier mobility and small exciton diffusion coefficient of organic molecules. Graphene exhibits the great photoresponse with wide spectral bandwidth and high response speed. However, weak light absorption and the absence of a gain mechanism have limited its photoresponsivity. Here, we report a sensitive organic/inorganic phototransistor with fast response speed by coupling PTCDA organic single crystal with the monolayer graphene.     Abstract The shuttle effect of soluble lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) is primarily responsible for the unstable performance of lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries, which has severely impeded their continued development. In order to solve this problem, a special strategy is proposed. Specifically, ultra-thin NiCo based layered double hydroxides (named LDH or NiCo-LDH) nanosheets are implanted into a pre-designed 3D interconnected carbon networks (SPC) to obtain porous composite materials (named SPC-LDH).During the operation of the battery, the 3D interconnected porous carbon mesh was the first to rapidly adsorb LiPSs, and then the LDH on the surface of the carbon mesh was used to realize the catalytic conversion of LiPSs. This facilitates the electrochemical conversion reaction between S substances while addressing the "shuttle effect". As a result, the battery maintains a discharge capacity of 1401.9, 1114.3, 975.5, 880.7, 760.4 and 679.6 mAh g

    Abstract Background: Liujunzi Decoction (LJZD) is a potential clinical treatment for Breast Cancer (BC), but the active ingredients and mechanisms underlying its effectiveness remain unclear.
    Objective: The study aimed to investigate the target gene of LJZD compatibility and the possible mechanism of action in the treatment of breast cancer by using network pharmacology and molecular docking.
    Methods: Based on TCMSP, ETCM, and BATMAN database searching and screening to obtain the ingredients of LJZD, the related targets were obtained. Breast cancer-related targets were collected through GEO, Geencards, OMIM, and other databases, and drug-disease Venn diagrams were drawn by R. The PPI network map was constructed by using Cytoscape. The intersecting targets were imported into the STRING database, and the core targets were analyzed and screened. The intersected targets were analyzed by the DAVID database for GO and KEGG enrichment. AutoDock Vina and Gromacs were used for molecular docking and simulation of the core targets and active ingredients.
    Results: 126 active ingredients of LJZD were obtained; 241 targets related to breast cancer were sought after screening, and 180 intersection targets were identified through Venn diagram analysis. The core targets were FOS and ESR1. KEGG enrichment analysis mainly involved PI3K/Akt, MAPK, and other signaling pathways.
    Conclusion: This study has explored the possible targets and signaling pathways of LJZD in treating breast cancer through network pharmacology and bioinformatics analysis. Molecular docking and simulation have further validated the potential mechanism of action of LJZD in breast cancer treatment, providing essential experimental data for future studies.

    Abstract Background: Dento-maxillofacial deformities are common problems. Orthodontic-orthognathic surgery is the primary treatment but accurate diagnosis and careful surgical planning are essential for optimum outcomes. This study aimed to establish and verify a machine learning-based decision support system for treatment of dento-maxillofacial malformations.
    Methods: Patients (n = 574) with dento-maxillofacial deformities undergoing spiral CT during January 2015 to August 2020 were enrolled to train diagnostic models based on five different machine learning algorithms; the diagnostic performances were compared with expert diagnoses. Accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and area under the curve (AUC) were calculated. The adaptive artificial bee colony algorithm was employed to formulate the orthognathic surgical plan, and subsequently evaluated by maxillofacial surgeons in a cohort of 50 patients. The objective evaluation included the difference in bone position between the artificial intelligence (AI) generated and actual surgical plans for the patient, along with discrepancies in postoperative cephalometric analysis outcomes.
    Results: The binary relevance extreme gradient boosting model performed best, with diagnostic success rates > 90% for six different kinds of dento-maxillofacial deformities; the exception was maxillary overdevelopment (89.27%). AUC was > 0.88 for all diagnostic types. Median score for the surgical plans was 9, and was improved after human-computer interaction. There was no statistically significant difference between the actual and AI- groups.
    Conclusions: Machine learning algorithms are effective for diagnosis and surgical planning of dento-maxillofacial deformities and help improve diagnostic efficiency, especially in lower medical centers.

    Abstract Drought stress is the key factor limiting soybean yield potential. Soybean seed formation involves a coordinated "subtending leaf-podshell-seed" process, but little is known about the assimilation and transport of photoassimilates in subtending leaves, podshells and seeds or their relationships with soybean seed formation under drought stress. To address these research gaps, two-year experiments with two soybean cultivars, Wandou 37 (drought tolerant) and Zhonghuang 13 (drought sensitive), were conducted under three soil water content (SWC) conditions in 2020 and 2021 based on the responses of their yield to drought. We analyzed the photosynthetic assimilation and translocation of photoassimilates in subtending leaves, podshells and seeds by stable isotope labeling. Compared with those under 75% SWC, 60% SWC and 45% SWC significantly decreased the Wandou 37 seed weight by 19.4% and 37.5%, respectively, and that of Zhonghuang 13 by 26.9% and 48.6%, respectively. Compared with those under 75% SWC, drought stress decreased the net photosynthetic rate and the activities of sucrose phosphate synthase (SPS) and sucrose synthase (SuSy), which in turn decreased the photosynthetic capacity of the subtending leaves. The podshells ensure the input of photoassimilates by increasing the SuSy activity, but the weakened source-sink relationship between podshells and seeds under drought stress leads to a decrease in the translocation of assimilates from podshells to seeds. The lack of assimilates under drought stress is an important factor restricting the development of soybean seeds. We conclude that the decrease in seed weight was caused by the decrease in the photosynthetic capacity of the subtending leaves and the decrease in the overall availability of photoassimilates; moreover, by a decrease in the translocation of assimilates from podshells to seeds.

    Abstract Background: A large number of literatures show that rhythmic auditory stimulation (RAS) can effectively improve Parkinson's disease (PD) patients' gait speed, frequency and speed. Its application and curative effect on upper limb motor function is relatively few.
    Objective: By studying the immediate effect of RAS with different rhythms on the prefrontal cortex (PFC) blood oxygen response during upper limb movement in PD patients, this study discusses the potential neurophysiological mechanism of RAS on upper limb movement in PD patients, which is expected to provide guidance for patients with upper limb dysfunction such as Parkinson's disease.
    Methods: In this study, 31 PD patients with upper limb static tremors were recruited to complete the nail board task on the healthy upper limb under the baseline rhythm, slow rhythm and fast rhythm provided by the therapist. At the same time, fNIRS was used to observe the blood oxygen response of PFC.

    Conclusion: RAS may be a useful upper limb rehabilitation strategy for PD patients with upper limb dysfunction. At the same time, RAS with different rhythms also have different responses to PFC blood oxygen during upper limb movement in PD patients, so that we can design interventions for this kind of cortical mechanism. Identifying the neurophysiological mechanism of RAS on upper limb movement in PD patients may help clinicians customize rehabilitation methods for patients according to clues, so as to highly personalize upper limb training and optimize its effect.

    Abstract The androgen receptor (AR, Uniprot: P10275) signaling plays a key role in the progression of prostate cancer, various AR-related ligands have been reported to treat prostate cancer. However, some resistance mechanisms limited the treating effect of these ligands. Since DBD binding or the allosteric binding sites in LBD of AR may allow the circumvention of some drug resistance mechanisms, anti-resistance is expected especially through the NTD (N-terminal domain) targeting. What's more, studies have shown that compounds including EPI-001 and its derivatives which bind to the Tau-5 region on NTD could be promising molecules for AR-based therapeutics. Herein, we employed aMD (accelerated molecular dynamics) simulation to fold Tau-5 unit proteins into native structure correctly. Subsequently, based on the predicted structural features of Tau-5, the virtual screening was conducted to discover new compounds targeting AR-NTD. We picked up 8 compounds (according to their docking scores and partly similar structural consists as known AR ligands) and analyzed their interaction with Tau-5, compared with the positive control EPI-001, four of the pick-up compounds showed better glide scores. Interestingly, although compound 8 had a lower docking score, it consisted of a similar component as the ligand EIQPN and the amide derivatives, this predicts that compound 8 has also the potential to be modified into an excellent AR-NTD binding molecule. These 8 compounds were all commercially available and could be tested to check whether there was a hit compound to bind the AR-NTD and to regulate its bio-activities. Together, this study described an in silico VLS approach to discover AR-NTD ligands and provided more choices for developing AR-targeted therapies.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. Sarma.
