Abstract This paper develops low-carbon decisions in a two-echelon supply chain considering consumers' low-carbon preference and cap-and-trade (C&T) regulation. Two different power structures are considered, including manufacturer-dominated (MD) and retailer-dominated (RD) cases. The single emission reduction (SER) mode where only the manufacturer invests in low-carbon technology and the cooperative emission reduction (CER) mode where the manufacturer invests in low-carbon technology and the retailer invest in low-carbon promotion are investigated respectively. It is found that a relatively loose C&T regulation helps to promote the cooperation of supply chain enterprises. Under both MD and RD cases, CER mode is always a rational choice for supply chain enterprises. Under SER mode, the manufacturer's profit will not always decrease when he loses the dominant position. However, the RD case is profitable for the retailer and the supply chain. Under CER mode, the dominant role is important for both the manufacturer and the retailer. However, the profit of the supply chain under RD case may be lower than that under MD case. Through numerical analysis, we found that the fluctuation of carbon price has a more significant impact on the manufacturer's emission reduction decision under CER mode than that under SER mode. In addition, with the increase of unit carbon price, the RD case performs better than the MD case in promoting supply chain's low-carbon level and profit.

Abstract Myclobutanil (MYC), a typical broad-spectrum triazole fungicide, is often detected in surface water. This study aimed to explore the neurotoxicity of MYC and the underlying mechanisms in zebrafish and in PC12 cells. In this study, zebrafish embryos were exposed to 0, 0.5 and 1 mg/L of MYC from 4 to 96 h post fertilization (hpf) and neurobehavior was evaluated. Our data showed that MYC decreased the survival rate, hatching rate and heart rate, but increased the malformation rate and spontaneous movement. MYC caused abnormal neurobehaviors characterized by decreased swimming distance and movement time. MYC impaired cerebral histopathological morphology and inhibited neurogenesis in HuC:egfp transgenic zebrafish. MYC also reduced the activities of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), and downregulated neurodevelopment related genes (gfap, syn2a, gap43 and mbp) in zebrafish and PC12 cells. Besides, MYC activated autophagy through enhanced expression of the LC3-II protein and suppressed expression of the p62 protein and autophagosome formation, subsequently triggering apoptosis by upregulating apoptotic genes (p53, bax, bcl-2 and caspase 3) and the cleaved caspase-3 protein in zebrafish and PC12 cells. These processes were restored by the autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine (3-MA) both in vivo and in vitro, indicating that MYC induces neurotoxicity by activating autophagy and apoptosis. Overall, this study revealed the potential autophagy and apoptosis mechanisms of MYC-induced neurotoxicity and provided novel strategies to counteract its toxicity.

Abstract Background: This study was to explore the effect of different doses of rocuronium bromide on neuromonitoring during Da Vinci robot thyroid surgery.
Methods: This was a prospective, randomized, double-blind, controlled trial that included 189 patients who underwent Da Vinci robot thyroidectomy with intraoperative neuromonitoring(IONM). Patients were randomly divided into three groups and given three different doses of rocuronium (0.3mg/kg, 0.6mg/kg, 0.9mg/kg). Outcome measurements included IONM evoked potential, postoperative Voice Handicap Index-30(VHI-30), intraoperative body movement incidence rate, Cooper score, and hemodynamic changes during anesthesia induction. Results: The difference in IONM evoked potentials at various time points between the three groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The difference in Cooper scores and intraoperative body movement incidence rate between 0.6 and 0.9mg/kg groups was statistically significant compared with the 0.3mg/kg group (both P<0.001). There was no statistically significant difference in VHI-30 score and hemodynamic changes during anesthesia induction among the three groups (both P>0.05).
Conclusions: For patients undergoing Da Vinci robot thyroidectomy, a single dose of rocuronium at 0.6 and 0.9mg/kg during anesthesia induction can provide stable IONM evoked potential. Additionally, compared to 0.3 mg/kg, it can offer better tracheal intubation conditions and lower incidence of body movements during surgery. It is worth noting that the use of higher doses of rocuronium should be adjusted based on the duration of IONM and local practices.

Abstract In the context of low-carbon transformation, many small and medium-sized suppliers face financial difficulties. How to encourage and motivate capital-constrained suppliers to implement low-carbon strategies has become an important problem. There is a lack of quantitative research on green financing problems in the supply chain, especially considering the bank’s green credit financing (GCF) with discounted interest rates related to a low-carbon level. This paper formulates a Stackelberg game model to analyze the green financing and emission reduction decisions of a retailer-dominated supply chain consisting of one capital-constrained supplier and one capital-sufficient retailer. The retailer’s environmental purchasing requirement is considered. The result shows that the retailer’s procurement requirement cannot always motivate the capital-constrained supplier to improve their emission reduction rate. The mixed credit mode, which includes the bank’s GCF and the retailer’s partial prepayment, can help relieve the financing pressure of the capital-constrained supplier. It is found that the GCF at a discounted interest rate can effectively improve the supplier’s emission reduction enthusiasm. This paper tries to provide some meaningful insights for the government and supply chain members when making sustainable strategies.

Abstract Dendritic cells (DCs)-based tumor vaccines have the advantages of high safety and rapid activation of T cells, and have been approved for clinical tumor treatment. However, the conventional DC vaccines have some severe problems, such as poor activation of DCs in vitro, low level of antigen presentation, reduced cell viability, and difficulty in targeting lymph nodes in vivo, resulting in poor clinical therapeutic effects.
