Abstract Architecture plays an important role in the process of urban construction and social and economic development. Similarly, the application of BIM Technology in the process of urban construction also has a very important significance. To promote the integration of architecture teaching and BIM Technology is not only the need of Architecture Teaching Reform in Colleges and universities, but also the need of urban construction and social and economic development. It is an effective way to promote the development and improvement of the teaching level of architecture major in Colleges and universities to make clear the problems faced by the integration of BIM Technology into the teaching of architecture major in Colleges and universities at the present stage, and take effective measures to establish the teaching mode of architecture major based on BIM technology.

Abstract The dynamic response of a single population to chemicals can be represented by a Weibull function. However, it is unclear whether the overall response can still be represented in this manner when scaled up to the community level. In this study, we investigated the responses of biological communities to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by using an ecological model of Baiyangdian Lake in northern China. The community dynamics process was divided into the following three stages. In the first stage, toxicity, played a dominant role and strong, medium, and weak species responses were observed according to the toxicity sensitivity. In the second stage, the dynamic process was dominated by the interaction strength with three alternative dynamic pathways comprising of direct response, no response, or inverse response. In the third stage, the toxicity was again dominant, and the biomasses of all species decreased to extinction. The toxicological dynamics were far more complex at the community level than those at the single species level and they were also influenced by the interaction strength as well as toxicity. The toxicological dynamic process in the community was constantly driven by the competing effects of these two forces. In addition to the total biomass, the interaction strength was identified as a suitable community-level signal because it exhibited good indicator properties regarding ecosystem steady-state transitions. However, we found that food web stability indicators were not suitable for use as community-level signals because they were not sensitive to changes in the ecosystem state. Some ecological management suggestions have been proposed, including medium to long-term monitoring, and reduction of external pollution loads and bioindicators. The results obtained in this study increase our understanding of how chemicals interfere with community dynamics, and the interaction strength and total biomass were identified as useful holistic indicators.

Abstract The gecko can achieve flexible climbing on various vertical walls and even ceilings, which is closely related to its unique foot adhesion system. In the past two decades, the mechanism of the gecko adhesion system has been studied in-depth, and a verity of gecko-inspired adhesives have been proposed. In addition to its strong adhesion, its easy detachment is also the key to achieving efficient climbing locomotion for geckos. A similar controllable adhesion characteristic is also key to the research into artificial gecko-inspired adhesives. In this paper, the structures, fabrication methods, and applications of gecko-inspired controllable adhesives are summarized for future reference in adhesive development. Firstly, the controllable adhesion mechanism of geckos is introduced. Then, the control mechanism, adhesion performance, and preparation methods of gecko-inspired controllable adhesives are described. Subsequently, various successful applications of gecko-inspired controllable adhesives are presented. Finally, future challenges and opportunities to develop gecko-inspired controllable adhesive are presented.

Abstract We applied excimer laser annealing (ELA) on indium-zinc oxide (IZO) and IZO/indium-gallium-zinc oxide (IGZO) heterojunction thin-film transistors (TFTs) to improve their electrical characteristics. The IZO and IZO/IGZO heterojunction thin films were prepared by the physical vapor deposition method without any other annealing process. The crystalline state and composition of the as-deposited film and the excimer-laser-annealed films were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In order to further enhance the electrical performance of TFT, we constructed a dual-heterojunction TFT structure. The results showed that the field-effect mobility could be improved to 9.8 cm
