Abstract The present study investigated the effects of different task repetition (TR) schedules on oral complexity, accuracy, and fluency (CAF) of L2 learners with high and low working memory capacity (WMC). To this end, 36 intermediate Iranian learners were assigned to two groups by means of a speaking span task: task repetition of high WMC learners (TRHWM) and task repetition of low WMC leaners (TRLWM). The learners in both groups were required to watch a silent animation, retell the story, and then repeat it immediately. They were also asked to repeat the same task after three days and a week without having a chance to watch the animation. The learners' oral task performances were recorded, coded, and analyzed in terms of the CAF measures. Results revealed that different TR schedules assisted low-WMC L2 learners with improving their complexity measure in terms of lexical diversity such that there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups from the first to the last oral performance. In addition, the findings bear pedagogical significance in that they add support to the positive effect of using different task repetition schedules on the oral performances of both high- and low-WMC L2 learners.

Abstract Objective: Articular cartilage damages do not repair spontaneously. Tissue engineering is a promising approach to repair cartilage damage. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) members are the known induction factors in chondrogenic differentiation. However, hypertrophy of the chondrocytes resulting from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) induction by TGF-β is inevitable. Pomegranate fruit contains many ingredients which are useful in ensuring the health of organs. This study was designed to investigate the Pomegranate Fruit hydroalchoholic Extract (PFE) capability in human adipose derived stem cells (hASCs) differentiation into the chondrocytes on fibrin scaffold.
Materials and methods: Pomegranate fruit hydroalchoholic extract (PFE) was prepared. hASCs were isolated, expanded, labeled, and seeded on the fibrin scaffold. The constructs were divided into three groups including TGF-β3, PFE, and control. The constructs were induced for 14 days, then, the MTT assay, Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), and histochemistry assessments were run, and finally, the constructs were transplanted into the knee defect of rats. The gross and histological assessments of the transplants were done after 8 weeks.
    Results: The viability rate,
Conclusion: PFE was effective in the chondrogenic induction of hASCs. Further studies are needed to find out the events of the chondrogenic induction using PFE.

Abstract Objective: This study was designed to detect the therapeutic effects of galbanum oil plus dry cupping (a Persian medicine-based method) in hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19).
Materials and methods: In this randomized controlled trial, 60 hospitalized COVID-19 patients with positive polymerase chain reaction test (PCR), pulmonary involvement and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) ≤93 mmHg, were randomly assigned into two groups to take the standard therapeutic regimen alone or alongside cupping and topical galbanum oil (
Results: Fifty-eight patients were analyzed. The SpO2 level changed from 89.27±3.82 to 90.29±3.09 mmHg (p=0.038) in control group, while it increased from 88.74±3.45 to 94.23±2.1 mmHg (<0.001) in galbanum group with a significant difference between the groups (p<0.001). Fever, cough, dyspnea, and anorexia alleviated in the galbanum group more than the control (p=0.003, 0.001, 0.01, and 0.04, respectively). No adverse effects were reported due to galbanum oil and cupping therapy.
Conclusion: Dry cupping with galbanum oil alongside the routine therapeutic regimen could be more effective than the routine therapeutic regimen alone for improving SpO2 level and alleviating fever, cough, and dyspnea in COVID-19 patients.

Abstract Background: Contralateral Testis Hypertrophy (CTH) is a clinical marker that could be used to guide the choice of the main surgical strategy. In patients with a Non-palpable Testis (NPT), the degree of CTH as measured by testicular length or volume has been shown to be able to predict whether the undescended testis will survive.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to establish the proper cut-off for identifying non-viable testes based on the current literature.
Design: We systematically searched several medical databases as well as Google Scholar search engines for references and citations. All the studies that reported CTH as a result of NPT in prepubertal boys were included. Data from the included articles was gathered by two independent reviewers. The checklist developed by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) was used to evaluate the methodological quality of the studies that were included. Due to the incredibly high degree of heterogeneity among the studies, no meta-analysis was done.
Results: The current systematic review included 17 studies that assessed the cut-off point to detect non-viable testis. The size and length of the testes were taken into consideration based on our findings. We found that different studies reported various ideal cut-off values for predicting non-viable testes, which can be brought on by various measuring techniques, evaluation ages, and patient groupings. The difference in testis volume was greater than the difference in its length, which can be attributable to the fact that some studies used an orchidometer to measure the testis's length directly or indirectly.
Conclusion: According to the results of our study, it seems that defining a cut point for diagnosis of CTH based on the size of the testis, cannot demonstrate the absence of a non-palpable testis.

Abstract Objective: This study was performed to systematically review the current literature on the effects of transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation and percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation on multiple sclerosis-induced neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction.
Materials and methods: Medical databases including PubMed, Scopus, Embase, and Web of Science were systematically searched from inception to September 2022. Metaanalysis was carried out using the comprehensive meta-analysis tool.
Results: Our inclusion criteria were met by 12 studies evaluating the effects of percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation/transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation on multiple sclerosis-induced neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction. Comparing the postintervention results to the baseline showed that the rate of frequency was decreased in both percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation and transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation groups after intervention. The overall mean change of tibial nerve stimulation on frequency was -2.623 (95% CI: -3.58, -1.66; P < .001, I 2 : 87.04) among 6 eligible studies. The post-void residual was decreased after treatment in both methods of tibial nerve stimulation, with an overall mean difference of -31.13 mL (95% CI: -50.62, -11.63; P=.002, I 2 : 71.81). The other urinary parameters, including urgency (mean difference: -4.69; 95% CI: -7.64, -1.74; P < .001, I 2 : 92.16), maximum cystometric capacity (mean difference: 70.95; 95% CI: 44.69, 97.21; P < .001, I 2 : 89.04), and nocturia (mean difference: -1.41; 95% CI: -2.22, 0.60; P < .001, I 2 : 95.15), were improved after intervention, too. However, the results of subgroup analysis showed no effect of transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation on urinary incontinence (mean difference: -2.00; 95% CI: -4.06, 0.06; P=.057, I 2 : 95.22) and nocturia (mean difference: -0.39; 95% CI: -1.15, 0.37; P=.315, I 2 : 84.01). In terms of mean voided volume, the evidence was related to only percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation with a mean change of 75.01 mL (95% CI: -39.40, 110.61; P < .001, I 2 : 85.04).
Conclusion: Although the current literature suggests that tibial nerve electrostimulation might be an effective method for treating neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction, the evidence base is poor and derived from small, mostly nonrandomized trials with a high risk of bias and confounding.

Abstract Introduction: According to WHO, 190 million reproductive-aged women are affected by endometriosis. Using self-care interventions has a significant impact on managing endometriosis-related pain. Despite the enormous potential of different endometriosis applications, the medical professionals’ role has been neglected in the process of app development. This study aimed to extract the requirements for developing a mobile-based app for self-care of endometriosis patients through an overview of the literature and validate them according to the expert gynecologists’ point of view. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in two steps. First, endometriosis-related articles were reviewed. Second, a researcher-made questionnaire (Cronbach’s alpha=0.98) was designed to validate the identified information elements. Elements that obtained at least an average score of 3.2 (60%) out of 5-point Likert scale, were considered as required data elements for designing an android-based mobile app for self-care of endometriosis patients. Results: Based on the literature review, 36 studies were retrieved and 126 data elements were extracted. The elements were classified into six categories including electronic health record, educational materials, follow-up, pain management, nutritional diet, and lifestyle. All data elements except “using traditional opioids/drugs” were verified. Conclusion: In this study, a minimum data set was achieved for designing an endometriosis mobile app. Since due to the lack of international standards for designing health apps, the results of this research can be beneficial for the design and development of endometriosis apps. In the current research, an effort has been made to study all related references carefully in order to provide a comprehensive data set for designing and developing an app. This data set could be useful not only for designing a mobile-based app but also for the design of any other systems which is related to endometriosis.
