Abstract Aging involves the time-dependent deterioration of physiological functions attributed to various intracellular and extracellular factors. Cellular senescence is akin to aging and involves alteration in redox homeostasis. This is primarily marked by increased reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (ROS/RNS), inflammatory gene expression, and senescence-associated beta-galactosidase activity, all hallmarks of aging. It is proposed that gasotransmitters which include hydrogen sulfide (H

Abstract The gross domestic product (GDP) of a country is mainly dependent on its trade and external sector which improves the country's income. According to FY2021-2022, India's nominal GDP is estimated to be 3.12 trillion US dollars. Overall exports and imports have a year-over-year increase of 49.6% and 68% respectively. Machine learning techniques have the potential to improve India's Current gross value by up to 15% by the year 2035. The integration of data, Technology, and talent helps to create intelligent models that enhance artificial intelligence growth. This paper presents an optimized light gradient boosting machine (Light GBM) model using the hybrid Harris hawk optimization (H

Abstract Introduction: Chronic low back pain (cLBP) is a problem globally, creating a tremendous economic burden. Since conventional treatments often fail, various forms of electrical stimulation have been proposed to improve function and decrease pain. Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) have not been adequately reported in the electrical stimulation literature.
Methods: A retrospective independent statistical analysis was conducted on PROMs data for users of H-Wave
Results: Reported pain was reduced by 3.12 points (0-10 pain scale), with significant (≥ 20%) relief in 85.28%. Function/activities of daily living (ADL) improved in 96.36%, while improved work performance was reported in 81.61%. Medication use decreased or stopped in 64.41% and sleep improved in 59.76%. Over 96% reported having expectations met or exceeded, service satisfaction, and confidence in device use, while no adverse events were reported. Subgroup analyses found positive associations with longer duration of device use, home exercise participation, and working, whereas older age and longer pain chronicity resulted in reduced benefit. Similar analysis of the larger all-diagnoses cohort demonstrated near-equivalent positive outcomes.
Conclusion: Treatment outcomes directly reported by cLBP HWDS patients demonstrated profound positive effects on function and ADL, robust improvement in pain perception, and additional benefits like decreased medication use, better sleep, and improved work performance, representing compelling new evidence of treatment efficacy.

Abstract Anaerobic digestion is a popular unit operation in wastewater treatment to degrade organic contaminants, thereby generating biogas (methane-rich gas stream). Catalytic decomposition of the biogas could be a promising upcycling approach to produce renewable hydrogen and sequester carbon in the form of carbon nanomaterials (CNMs). Biosolids are solid waste generated during the wastewater treatment process, which can be valorised to biochar via pyrolysis. This work demonstrates the use of biosolids-derived biochar compared with ilmenite as catalysts for biogas decomposition to hydrogen and CNMs. Depending on the reaction time, biosolids-derived biochar achieved a CH

Abstract The h-index is an author-level scientometric index used to gauge the significance of a researcher's work. The index is determined by taking the number of publications and the number of times these publications have been cited by others. Although it is widely used in academia, many authors find its calculation confusing. There are websites such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science (WOS), and Vidwan that provide the h-index of an author. As this metrics is frequently used by recruiting agency and grant approving authority to see the output of researchers, the authors need to know in-depth about it. In this article, we describe both the manual calculation method of the h-index and the details of websites that provide an automated calculation. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the h-index and the factors that determine the h-index of an author. Overall, this article serves as a comprehensive guide for novice authors seeking to understand the h-index and its significance in academia.

Abstract The use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Automated Essay Scoring (AES) has been well explored in the English language, with benchmark models exhibiting performance comparable to human scorers. However, AES in Hindi and other low-resource languages remains unexplored. In this study, we reproduce and compare state-of-the-art methods for AES in the Hindi domain. We employ classical feature-based Machine Learning (ML) and advanced end-to-end models, including LSTM Networks and Fine-Tuned Transformer Architecture, in our approach and derive results comparable to those in the English language domain. Hindi being a low-resource language, lacks a dedicated essay-scoring corpus. We train and evaluate our models using translated English essays and empirically measure their performance on our own small-scale, real-world Hindi corpus. We follow this up with an in-depth analysis discussing prompt-specific behavior of different language models implemented.

Abstract Pain treatments have historically centered on drugs, but an "opioid crisis" has necessitated new standards of care, with a paradigm shift towards multi-modal pain management emphasizing early movement, non-narcotics, and various adjunctive therapies. Electrotherapies remain understudied and most lack high-quality clinical trials, despite a desperate need for effective adjunctive options. A systematic search of human clinical studies on H-Wave
